The food is good. The value for the money is good. Overall, they are doing a pretty good job, and doing their best. I would recommend to other families.

My loved one and I liked this community. It was on our list but the facility location is more of a city environment and my loved one wanted more of a country surrounding environment like my loved one is used too.

My mother has recently moved into this community and so far I am pleased with how things are going for him. The staff have been attentive to her needs and I am comfortable with the care they are providing. I like that there are a lot of activities available to the residents and the staff always have something going on to keep them busy. Overall we are pleased and would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice place. Even the small one bedroom apt.is very spacious plus room for a stack washer & dryer. Plenty of closet space. One draw back for our mom is that the meals are not provided. probably not a good idea for her.

I really like that my father can get around the community. The set up is great he is able to go outside to the patio and enjoy the day. He has participated in some musical activities that are offered. The communication has been great from the caregivers side. The housekeeping could be a little better.

So far we have been pretty happy with them. It's still kind of new, but we haven't had any major complaints so far. It's clean, and the staff has been friendly, and all of those things have been good. It's just a big adjustment.

They do a good job overall at The Regency at South Shore. The staff are all very pleasant and easy to work with, and they take great care of the people who live here. The facility itself was clean, well kept, and attractive.

One thing I did not like about Parkside at Westminster is that you do not have a choice on certain things. For example, if you get in there you have no choice but to participate in the meals rather than doing your own. My parents wanted more independence than that. I thought they were forcing to do to much and it was a bit overkill. That was the only drawback. Other that that, it was a very nice place and I thought that they did a very good job. They were all very nice and friendly.

I am considering relocating to another facility at the present time based on comments made by the staff to me. I have spoken to them about my concerns and I was insulted because I was considered a liability. However I did receive an apology letter from the general manager. Some staff do not say hello or do not speak when spoken too. I do a lot of volunteering and I do not get any recognition for that although they do add photos on their Facebook. The management from within though just does not appreciate that. I have made massive improvements and the residents really appreciate it - but the marketing director does not even know my name and the general manager does not acknowledge it. The food is fine and the place is clean.

It has been fine. The Parkside at Westminster is a very nice community. Everyone is nice and friendly. You hear some complaints but not a lot. Overall, it has been very good. My overall rating of this property is 3 stars. I rate the cleanliness 5 stars because it is very clean. I rate the friendliness 4 stars. I rate the value 3 stars. I rate the care services 4 stars. I rate the activities 5 stars.

Rooms are big and well priced but distances are large, tough for a person with ambulatory issues.

We enjoyed meeting the Director; tour went well and facility is very nice. However, we do not think that would be a good fit for my parents because it is too far from their church and friends and have required seating arrangements for the residents. We did think the facility was well kept; the dining room is lovely, and the staff seemed friendly.

In 5 months time at Parkside North East, my mom has had both money and valuables stolen. There is still no place to lock valuables up and I just found out that others have been robbed, too. The food is either too salty, veggies are too hard to chew or it is just not tasty. Rides to dr appointments are cancelled as she's waiting at the door because they've sent the wrong van or one with no wheelchair capabilities. They do mom's laundry, take out the trash and clean her apartment fine. She gets showering help two times a week and that seems fine. They fussed at her for not following the fire drill protocol when she was never told the procedure. The nurses and med techs seem nice to her.

there are severa assisted living/independent communities in the area. Check around first and keep your options open. i would recommend comparisons before making a decision. Some places are more, some less for basically the same amenities.

My in-laws were there for less than 6 months. The Regency is eager to get your loved ones in but not so eager to keep them. It was less than 2 weeks and we were getting phone calls about maybe this wasn't the place for my in laws after all. Mind you, they did the assessment to see if they qualified for the level of care they could offer. Nothing changed in two weeks time! And we were very upfront with the level of detail and care we thought they would need. They also promised to assist with transitioning to a higher level of care when needed. Their idea of assistance was sticking my FIL in a terrible nursing & rehab center that was even worse and costing 5 times as much.. Personal care attendants varied widely. Some were great, some flatly refused to lift a finger to help out. If your loved one is very independent this place might be okay but if they need any care assistance, look elsewhere. I do not recommend LECOM facilities at all! Poor coordination of care between the facilities, poor staffing, and high staff turnover.

My father passed away after 2 months of being here. I was fortunate that he was on hospice so I could go in and see the care that he was getting. They were not putting in his hearing aids or his dentures and the nurse lied to me and said they did not assist with those things. There was a time I went in and his floor was not cleaned for over a week, they did not take him to the dining room often even though it was recommended, and they did not pay attention to what or how much he ate. He also fell multiple times here. There was not a lot of attention paid to him. We were very disappointed with the care he received here and would not recommend to others.

These are very small 1bedroom Apartments 1closet for everything and 1 for linen. The rental cost should be less. And everything is electric you pay . Its convenient to a lot of stores and transportation. The residents are very friendly they interact often and have resident Council meetings to inform each other of whats important for them. The company needs to be mindful of people with disabilities and senior living have limited income and what they should charge them .
