The community is very clean at all times. The staff is wonderful and takes care of all of my sisters needs . The grounds at this community are very clean and well taken care of. She likes the food and variety. My sister from time to time will participate in the activities that are offered. We recommend this for excellent care.

Regency at South Shore has exceeded all expectations in caring for my parents. Both are well into their 90's and still remarkably fit but do have needs that couldn't be met living independently. From day one the staff has been terrific: thoughtful, caring, attentive which best describes everyone there. Dad and mom are still adjusting to a regimen that differed from there lifestyle, but each day we see progress. Their quality of life has taken a leap forward and for that we are eternally grateful to the staff and resources at Regency.

The care that the staff provides is very nice at The Regency. All the folks are very good. Everything has gone fine with them, they are terrific people and I would highly recommend their facility to anyone.

The Regency is the best place I could have chosen for my mom. It is a clean facility with a great atmosphere. The staff at The Regency is the jewel in the crown. They treated my mom (and my sister and I) like they have known us all of their lives. They are friendly, kind and patient and I am thankful that A Place For Mom recommended them.

We visited this community when while we were looking into options for a loved one. We thought this place was very nice looking! The rooms were a good nice and seemed nice overall. The staff we met were friendly and helpful.

My mother lives there. Happy residents and caring staff. Couldn't imagine her anywhere else.

Parkside Suites in North East, PA is a perfect place for independent living or personal care. Like living in a Hilton.

We toured Parkside at North East and were pleased with the facility and the personnel so my mother moved to Parkside August 2013 and is very happy there. We don't worry about her like we did before the move. They have many activities that she can choose to participate in if she wishes.

We hope my parents will seriously consider Regency. It is close to their current home and they have many friends already living there. Since they only have one 2-bedroom apt available right now (and it is lovely), we decided to hold it with plans to invite my parents to go and see it sometime soon. My mother knows that we toured Regency, but not that we are actually holding a room. I am preparing an outline of the cost of living there to be compared with the costs of staying in their home so we can help them determine if this is financially possible. Carey has been very helpful, and we hope and pray this will work out.

We chose Regency because of the location, the cleanliness of the facility, and the apartment sizes. The apartment that she has is just fine and right for what she needs. She does say that the food is very bland, but I understand a lot of people cannot have spices in their food. I have never been inside the facility but she says she is happy and content and I would definitely recommend to others looking.

My mom has been there for less than a week but loves it already. The staff has been amazing and both the people living there and working there seem genuinely happy. I don't think we could have found a better fit. Her large one-bedroom apartment with a view of the garden, a full kitchen if she wants to cook, walk in closet and large bathroom makes this apartment a perfect new home for her. She hasn't had time to take advantage of activities yet, but it's nice to know that there's plenty to do when she's ready.

Joe at A Place For Mom was very helpful. I called him looking for places in mom's neighborhood. He suggested two Senior Living Centers. We visited both, plus a couple others. My mom hesitated for a few weeks. During that time Joe again was helpful with additional advice. In the end, mom chose The Regency at South Shore and we know she will be happy there. Our loved one was very happy with the Regency. We would tell that friend that, we were very happy with their services, staff was always very friendly, they were always accommodating, and they addressed any concerns we had. [name removed] was the main reason that she chose the Regency. She was pleasantly surprised.

They seem to do everything. They said they were going to do and helping mom and dad. The food was good. Mom and dad seem happy about that. The activities are usually lightly attended but are available and mom and dad enjoy those the bus offering to drive them around does seem to be somewhat limited, but besides that everything else is pretty straight up

The staffing is not allowed to help with elderly individuals that have fallen down or tripped. That was one big reason why we DID place our parents there, not spelled out clearly in the beginning. Now we are going to look at other facilities. I would still recommend them. individuals going down this road need to pay close attention to what services are actually available and what the customer is paying for.

I'd say it is a good place but expensive. We picked this community because of the proximity. The interaction/communication with the staff has been good.

We toured Parkside at Glenwood during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one and it was a nice facility! The cleanliness and friendliness were good. However, the apartments were furnished and we weren't interested as our loved one wanted to bring her 'home' with her.

Happy to live here. Pet friendly! Building is new and clean and safe. Easy to get around and elevators. Having the hospital next door is great for all my medical appointments, and shopping is really close too!
