Juniper Communities

The residence was very clean. I talked to a couple before I entered the building in the parking lot and asked them about the place. I got very positive feedback. I also talked to some of the residents and got very positive feedback. The staff was very friendly and knew everyones name. I watched a brain activity in progress and liked what I saw. The bedrooms are very nice, slightly bigger than some I have seen. On the whole I was very impressed with this facility and it is definitely on my list of possible residences to choose. I am going back with my brother for him to look at it.

My loved one lives at Emeritus and my experience has been very positive. I think they have gone the extra mile to make her feel very welcomed and involved. She has complained that the food is not that great, but I haven't eaten there, so I can't say firsthand whether it is good or bad. They are attentive and kind and I've never had a problem reaching any staff that I've needed to contact. It is clean and activities are well organized. I have a peace that my loved one is well cared for in a place filled with happy residents.

We have been totally pleased with Juniper Village. Everything they offer has met our expectations. They are just a wonderful community and we would recommend Juniper Village to anyone.

When we took the tour what initially stood out to us was the overall cleanliness of the community. It is so clean and there are no fowl odors anywhere within the community. We like that we can pretty much come and go as we please, but sometimes the communication with the upper administrative staff could be improve, at times it is lacking.

Juniper Village is a Godsend to our family! My Mother lost her husband in 2018 and lived all alone over 600 miles away. Getting her to the village was a hard sell as she envisioned being what she described as a “prisoner’. She found her experience to be the complete opposite! Every time I see or talk to Mom she says “How did you ever find me such a wonderful place?” “I LOVE it here!” Everyone is so nice!” The staff at Juniper is phenomenal! Always attentive to Mom and our family’s needs and they go above and beyond every day! Our entire experience from the initial tour to all of the logistics of the physical move were carefully planned and managed very well! Mom is THRIVING and has lots of friends. Her mood and mental health are both the best I have ever seen, even with the COVID protocols! The staff has done an AMAZING job at keeping everyone in the facility healthy. ZERO Covid patient cases! As her primary caretaker, POA and son, I have to say that Juniper Village is a blessing for my mental health as well. Prior to Juniper it was a daily struggle filled with hopeless phone calls and strife. I was constantly putting out fires and it was negatively affecting my daily life. Juniper Village TOTALLY erases the negative stereotypes a Long-Term Care Facility! It is BY FAR the BEST decision Mom has ever made! We are very pleased!

We chose Juniper Village at the time because it had good reviews, approachable staff, and they really were willing to talk and listen to families concerns. The director and building management made me feel like they cared and were trying to solve problems that came up. The room sizes are good and spacious. The food here was good and they accommodated me bringing special diet items for my mother. The activities director is great, the population itself is more declined than other places, so the activities are not as robust. The design of the building is not conducive to successful large activities. The main group room is too small. My favorite part about the community was it was warm and the care staff was very affectionate and hands on with residents with residents who needed that. The environment was cheerful and homey, but it is for a certain type of patient who needs individual, one on one time with care givers and is not stimulating enough for my mom.

The staff does a great job! The healthcare staff is knowledgeable, accessible and responsive. The management team keeps us updated and aware of what is going in at the community...and most of all, the residents feel safe and comfortable.

We visited the facility a few months ago for my Mother...then the virus hit and everything was at a standstill. Since then I've been in touch with the Director throughout the past few months and we are waiting for an apartment to open. I think the facility is beautiful and clean. The living spaces are large enough, the offerings and activities are great, and the facility comes highly recommended by my neighbors and friends whose parents lived there. I can't wait for her to move in!!

Thank you so much for all that you have done to "encourage" my dad to stay mobile and active. Before moving to Juniper Village I was the sole motivator, so I know what a hard job that is. Thank you for all that you and your staff do everyday. It is all much appreciated!!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone at Juniper Village. My brother [name removed] has been a resident for almost 5 years now. I couldn't be more satisfied for making the decision for him to live there. Everyone there have been very nice to him and my wife and I are very happy for him there. He is a happy camper. Thank you all from [name removed] to [name removed] and [name removed] and the entire staff. I know you are doing a great job and the best that you can provide for all of the residents. Sometimes ,I'm sure, we all take your work for granted at times, but know that I appreciate your efforts in keeping my brother and all other residents safe ,especially during this Covid-19 pandemic. I can't express the relief I have knowing that my Father is well cared for and in such good hands during this COVID Crisis. Your weekly updates, social distancing and proactive policies enacted to keep my father and the other resident's safe, has not gone unnoticed.
