Not ALL care givers were perfect but most did an excellent job

There seems to be a lot of people calling off and my mom will sit and wait for 1-2 hours for someone to show up. They have been very good and helpful. It's just finding someone To fill the spot takes awhile. And several times a manager has had to come and fill in.

Remember that this case was just to "sit" with a 55yr old for seizure watch for 2 weeks. They were understanding and kind to a patient with constant objections to their presence. Hard to rate this experience because it was new and unusual and short. Yes we would recommend their services to other families.

They will find a caregiver if the regular one can't come. I would recommend them, but it would be good if they paid caretakers at least half of what I pay them

We met with one of their reps and they were easy to work with. This is a private pay caregiver, non-skilled in home care service. I would recommend to others.

HomeWell provides in-home health aids. We used them for 6 months for our mother. They provided care a few hours a day several days a week. During this time about a dozen different aids came to moms house. What struck me most was the wide range in quality of the aids. There were 2 who were fantastic. We gave them a list of stuff to do for mom — help bathing, taking vital signs, supervising exercises, meal prep, laundry, cleaning, etc. The best aids got it all done — they were always busy either helping mom or doing useful projects. But other aids ignored the list, and only did a few tasks. Some would make long phone calls, or sit and fall asleep. One aid would consistently disappear to the bathroom for hours. I can appreciate that it is difficult to find good employees these days. Management was always available by phone and attentive to our concerns. Their website was useful for verifying schedules, and handling payments. I would recommend them with some qualifications.

As a retired nurse, this is an overall comment about homecare. I think most agencies have a high turnover, understaffed, underpaid. Communication and consistency makes it hard to ensure caregivers know about clients food preferences, daily routine. I would recommend HomeWell to others.

For us, the billing and online payment and proof of payment for insurance reimbursement are easy and efficient. If for some reason they can't fill a time slot, managers step-in to provide the service.

My loved ones had several caregivers over the time that were there to care for my loved ones. The caregivers that are proact were the best for my loved ones. The was caregiver that was able to assist with light housekeeping. The company required a 4 hour shift for the assistance. It would be helpful to some patients if there could be shorter shifts, or a list of things to keep the caregivers occupied.

HomeWell's owner is very nice and he wants the business to succeed. I feel the staff are underappreciated and underpaid; however, all but one caregiver was amazing. We are still using the service, because of the staff being so nice to work with. The communication from the owner and team morale could improve as well.

Our family only uses one care giver, and they are very good and has always been super friendly.

I would recommend them to others. They were prompt and good. Everything was fine.

The person from Homewell Senior Care who worked with my mom was wonderful. She was very friendly and caring. Her main purpose was to take care of my mom's needs. She did light house keeping for her. Mom is back in rehab so we only used the service for a short time. She represented herself and the company well by her clean appearance and her positive attitude. The service was good but a little pricey.

They did a pretty good job. There wasn't anything overly impressive, and no major complaints. They showed up when they were supposed to and were pretty friendly. The billing was pretty smooth and straightforward as well.

I had them for 2 weeks and they were okay. I had the same steady caregiver, she was on time and stayed as long as she was supposed to. She was helpful with what I asked and even she did things in the kitchen on her own initiative. The one thing is I wonder how they figure how to match people with the caregiver since this lady was probably not the best match for me. she was kind pleasant and helpful, but the only time I had any problem was when she left once in the middle of her time and gone for 2 hours out of the 4 hours she was there, but they did compensate me, but I felt that was a bit much.

The care at this community. The staff are caring and helpful to his needs.The community is clean and I like that he does seem to like the variety of the menu. They do offer residents activitites for those who want to particiapte. We would recommend the care and the value of care to other families.

The care was good when my parents were using their services. They had a consistent caregivers until the last week because of a schedule change. The caregiver mainly helped my mom with toileting, some light house work, and prepared meals for my parents. When they got the new caregiver they enjoyed the change. I used this agency because when I contacted them they were the most responsive and prompt at communicating with me.
