The big is that when we were looking for a place, they were unbelievably helpful. They were positive and upbeat in a tough situation. They gave us all the information we needed and they walked us through the process and got my loved one settled and it was a blessing to have them.

It's been wonderful. We are very pleased. I like how they are concerned and take care of the residents. We liked the overall appearance, and how nice and clean it is on the inside. We like just how friendly everyone is. They were not only comparably priced but, they were the nicest, and the least expensive, of all the places we looked at.

Greenfield has been great in helping us to get my mother settled in her new home. They are very attentive to her needs, friendly, professional and accommodating. My husband and I have been very pleased with our decision to go with Greenfield Reflections of Strasburg.

Oxton Place of Gainesville does an absolutely wonderful job, I'd give them top marks across the board. The staff is friendly, professional, and very accommodating. We're completely satisfied with our experience, and I would recommend them highly.

We are very happy at Oxton Place of Gainsville. One thing I would have them improve on is when they get new residents in they need to have someone to help orient them. When we came in on the first day there was no one around to help. They didn't even get her medicine on the first day. Overall though it has been a good experience. They just need a better system for new residents coming in.

My father has been a resident in the memory unit of Greenfield of Spotsylvania for six months and we have been nothing short of pleased with the care and attention he receives. While his transition from home to assisted living was hard for all of us, the Greenfield staff did special outreach to my Mom, assuring her that Dad would be cared for. The caregivers are patient and nurturing with him; the nursing staff makes sure we are aware of any medical concerns; housekeeping and maintenance staff keeps the facility clean and functioning; Dad eats three meals a day plus snacks; has clean clothes; and whether or not he chooses to participate, there are games, church services, entertainment, and even road trips, etc. provided weekly. Greenfield publishes a monthly calendar of events so on any given day we know what is going on in the memory unit. Caregiving is very demanding and Greenfield definitely steps up to the challenge.

A dementia care facility is completely different than any other care facility. When my mother needed dementia care, I was totally unaware of anything related to that realm. All I learned came from this facility and they are well versed and educated. Working there takes special people. I continue to be amazed at how loved and personally cared for the residents are. Each resident has his or her own set of needs and the staff knows those needs. There are many activities, celebrations of holidays, and family involved events. I always know when I leave that my mother was loved and cared for while I am not there. That is the most important part.

It was necessary about 4 years ago to move my parents into an assisted living situation . Our choice at the time was another local facility. Over time the care level decreased and we reviewed the other options in the area, ultimately selecting Greenfield. Having loved ones in this life stage is very challenging for family, and the decision regarding who to entrust with their care and well-being is both difficult and important. We have been very pleased with the decision we made. There are many aspects I find appealing aabout Greenfield, but a few in my view sets them apart from other local options. 1. The management is great and the staff is skilled and caring, and they work well together. One failing of other facilities I have observed is that the staff does not communicate well with each other, and resident care suffers as a result. 2. They offer great rehab services (PT/OT/ST) through an on-site, full-time, third party provider. The individual therapists are outstanding and they integrate rehab goals into the daily activities of the residents by working with the Care Managers. 3. They have developed a very strong relationship with a physicians group who regularly visit the facility to see residents. Both an MD and a PA are on-site on a weekly basis. This, and the existence of a full time Wellness Nurse position, allows timely and proactive care. My parents hospitalizations have decreased dramatically as many common problems, such as UTIs, are caught and treated early, avoiding a trip to the hospital. One consideration I would pass onto those selecting a facility, that I learned the hard way, is not to place too much emphasis on "luxuriousness" of the facility. Greenfield is very nice, always clean, well maintained and offers the amenities other facilities do, but it is "modest" compared to some. It appears they invest more in a greater staff to resident ratio and some of the other areas mentioned above. The undeniable truth is every facility has to make about the same profit margin, so it is really less about how much they spend and more on where they choose to spend it. In the end, the level of care family members receive is by far the most important consideration. The bottom line is I truly sleep better with my parents in Greenfield than I did before.

Our 90 year old mother recently moved into the facility. It's a pleasure to watch her eating and socializing. Her room is beautiful and she has the privacy of her own shower and assistance if she chooses. The place is lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The medical staff, with the trained individuals that Oxton Place hired, are [removed] to take care of people who are in need at a certain level. The have a scale system, 1 - 6, on which the evaluate a resident's care and they do not have the staff to handle some of that.

It was a great experience at Lake Wylie Retirement and Assisted Living. When I walked in the residents looked so happy, more so than I saw in the other two facilities that I toured. I just got a good feel at this place. You could tell that the residents are getting good care and attention, and that they are thriving here.

Our experience with Greenfield Reflections of Strasburg has been a very good one! Our search was short notice and somewhat of an emergency and the people here recognized that and did everything they could to help! The director here is wonderful, and very knowledgeable about memory care. It's just a very nice place overall.

Oxton Place provides individualized care based on the needs of the residents. They are also very interested and accommodating to the family members. The food looked delicious; the meals were well prepared.

We toured the facility. Drew was our tour guide she shows the studio & 1 bedroom units. But our loved one passed.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out with Oxton Place of Gainesville! The place switched to new owners earlier this year, and they seem to be doing a very good job with the place! The owners are on site fairly often, and really seem to care about making it a good place for the residents. They've also hired some very caring and friendly staff! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and every time I visit Mom and Dad rave about how good the food is!

We are quite satisfied with Greenfield of Williamsburg. The value is about the same as you would get anywhere else. We had a few bumps at the beginning with mom getting UTI's. The staff just had to get to know mom and her needs. Mom has gone on some nice scenic rides that they offer. She loves the therapeutic dogs they have come in. They have a new director here that seems really on the ball. Things are flowing quite nice. Mom is as happy as she's going to be anywhere. Overall we are happy here.

I would say that my mother's experience has been excellent. She really did not want to go in to assisted living, but they went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and she now loves being there.

They have just been wonderful in dealing with my father. I am extremely pleased, I couldn't ask for more. He is getting great care. The staff is wonderful and very caring.

I really like Mountain View Assisted Living and Memory Care. I am currently moving my mother out solely for financial reasons as we can not afford it on a regular basis, but they have really been great. It is a beautiful facility. The staff there is incredible. I plan to move her back in there at some point when the additional care they offer is needed, and I would highly recommend them.

We could not be more impressed with the care and concern that the staff has provided to our father and our family in the past few weeks. He is a new resident, and his transition from independent living to assisted living has been emotional for all of us. The staff has been so understanding and attentive, and Dad is already improving in all facets of life considering his condition. We are confident that we made the right decision when selecting his new home.
