Basically all our needs are met and I can discuss Dad's care freely with them. They are always available. My father picked this community for the apartment. It has its own kitchenette, sitting room and a separate bedroom.

The location is great if you live in the northern suburbs.Good place to check out.Seemed like a quality place at a good price.

We toured with Lake Wylie and thought it was a nice facility, but the main reason we did not choose them was because they did not offer as many activities as [facility name removed].

The management company changed. We were not informed. Should have received something by mail or email. But did not. The staff told us. Also, my mother in law was soiled and no one cleaned her up for three days. The staff should be more attentive to the needs of the patients. Also, my mother in law need a cream for a rash. We did not know about this until the bill came for the prescription. We should have been told when it happened. We are paying a lot of money for this care and the care should be too rate.

I like that it's a small facility (60 rooms) so the staff knows everyone personally and vice versa. They also do a family dinner the 3rd Thursday of every month and invite family to participate in activities, especially outings. I am very please so far and think it is a really good place value wise.

The tour at Lake Wylie was excellent. They couldn't accept my loved one because of their care level. If they could have we would have chosen them for the community.

Our family had an in person tour with The Garnet of Casa Grande and it seemed very nice, however our loved one is blind and not very mobile. The meals had to be taken in the central dining room, it was just too big of a facility to be practical for her needs. The facility itself though was very clean, but did seem a little dated.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was fine but the community just had a very cooperate feel to it. When we arrived for the tour we were ignored for several minutes, and the staff that were there at the front desk were not approachable at all. They seemed to be very disorganized and chaotic which was not working in their favor The common areas were okay, but the rooms themselves were very dated, like extremely dated. The refrigerator that was in the room were saw looked like it belonged in the late 80s early 90s - it was a tacky brown color. The room we were shown was their respite room and that was supposed to be "nice" but it just felt dingy.

When I initially went there all the staff was very friendly and very tentative and helpful. I love the apartment that I put mom in. They've made a lot of changes there recently. New people and the old people leaving and not so sure all those choices are good because the old people actually were the helpful ones so I guess we will see what comes out of this. They did raise their prices which I thought was ridiculous, but what do you do it isn't like you can move. I also have another loved one here and he's under Medicaid. He just recently had a notice taped to his door that they will no longer use Medicaid because Medicaid dropped them for some reason. They didn't do what they were supposed to do. I'm not sure what that was, but he would have to move I believe he said in March or apply under a different program and hopefully he will get approved for that. Those kind of things are kind of concerning.

Our tour with Greenfield Senior Living of Williamsburg went well. It is a smaller facility in size. It was also quieter with less activities going on. We did not see many people up and moving around.

Overall we're pleased with Lake Wylie. It has been a good facility thus far. The staff are very friendly. They are timely with their communication. And they seem to convey an overall genuine concern for the residents.

We have had some ups and downs but things are improving. My onboarding experience was not good, it took us 2 months to get my loved one in here after I had paid the deposit. That being said, the girl that was helping me is not there anymore. The memory care director at first I had a hard time with, she is very young but is definitely growing on me. I will say she addresses every issue that I have immediately and always answers the phone. Whenever I go people are outside, activities are going on, and people are engaged. I like that everything is included in the price here, so it is a flat rate and there are no add on fees like a lot of the other places that we looked at. I also like that the memory care unit is small, there are only 16 residents and that way the staff are able to give individualized attention to the residents. I have peace of mind having mom here and would recommend the facility to others looking, it just took a while to get into a routine.

We looked at lots of places and just kept coming back to Lake Wylie. Dad loved seeing the pictures of the veterans up on the wall. The activities are wonderful, they have a huge list of activities that they do every day. Unfortunately my dad does not participate in them. My dad loves the food! The portion sizes are great and he is never really hungry for snack's that I sent with him which is awesome. The administrative staff are not very good about answering calls or emails. When I go visit my dad I have heard that from many other residents as well. They could improve on their communication. The sales lady who worked with us also never replied to anything after we moved him in - she was great up front. Overall it is a good place and he is getting great. We would recommend them to others.

Our loved one has truly found what would be called Home, Lake Wylie Assisted Living facilities are very clean, warm and welcoming. The staff from maintenance team up to the top all collectively work wonderfully with everyone and seem to know many of the residents by name building relationships each one. Could not be happier knowing our loved one is very happy, active and most importantly safe!

From what I saw, Lake Wylie assisted living was well cared for in the rooms and space. The activities were nice for memory care. I loved how they had locks on their cabinets in their rooms to keep the clients from rummaging through their clothes. I can't speak on the food. Also their respite need to be shorter than you have to leave your loved one for 30 days. But my overall experience was good. My only negative that the place is expensive.

The tour experience was good, but the lcoation was further away. They had smaller rooms but it was a larger facility. It was a bit more expensive.

The community is clean, friendly, and the staff are caring here. Some of the residents complain about the minimal amount of food they receive. There are a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in. They even have outings for the residents to partake in. Overall I would recommend the community to others. The staff communication is really good, and they are responsive to emails and calls about our loved one.

Greenfield Senior Living of Spotsylvania was able to handle my loved ones special care needs and the price was right. We would recommend them to others.

We chose Lake Wylie Assisted Living because it was very convenient to where I live and they had availability quickly when we needed it. The staff certainly made you feel like you belonged there and they were always very helpful and friendly as well. I would definitely recommend them.

We went with Lake Wylie because it was the best value for the money in the area. I do think they could do better with meal options and the variety on the menu, the dining experience does seem to be pretty limited. Overall I would recommend to others looking.
