The Cedar Hills staff was the real selling point for selection between this facility and others in the area. Their professional and sincere concerns, and caring towards their residents was very obvious from the time you enter the facility. This was verified through conversations with various residents who had nothing but praise for the staff and the facility arrangements. They even praised the food which was something we found very encouraging compared to residents of other facilities. The facility itself was constructed in the mid 1990s, but its location back in the woods and off of the main roads make for a very quiet and beautiful setting. I also want to give a very high mark to the representative we had via "A Place for Mom", who went out of her way to provide as much up front information as she could that was very beneficial during our search.

It was okay. I can't really say anything bad about it. The only reason I didn't like it was because the location wasn't convenient for us. Other than that it was nice.

Overall value is low. We were able to find another place that was nicer, bigger and [removed]k cheaper per month! Also, Oak Ridge is very poorly managed. The rooms are small, really better suited for one person. Outdoor space is limited. Nice rockers in front, but residents can't use the courtyard in the center because the management allows staff to use it as a smoking area. Covid protocols were a joke. They said they took it seriously, but in reality, they didn't.

We toured with Rutland Place and the staff were all very helpful but they had a lot of availability which made us a little hesitant. It just did not seem like the right fit for my loved one.

The facility and the villas are very nice, but the atmosphere is kind of depressing. The lady who was at the front desk told me not to buy into the meal plan because of how bad the food was. The residents here also did not seem as happy and upbeat as other places I looked at.

The staff were unaware of my tour appointment they graciously ahowed me around and spent time explaining the services, amenities, and price structure. Itwas a little less organized. I detected some faint odor inside a room. Otherwise it seemed reasonably clean.

My aunt is atheist and strongly opinionated about it. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be a good fit for her.

Providence Place Assisted Living was a nice community. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They were able to address all of my concerns. This community was pricier compared to others that I was looking at. The community was not as new and could use some updating.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a nice enough looking place, however we weren't impressed with how they run things here. The biggest example, which was a deal breaker, was that none of the rooms had locks on the doors, and we wanted our loved one to have some degree of privacy.

Small but clean and friendly. No openings currently and no pets.

Not sure what I think about "all faiths". Cable package looks good, but housekeepig is every other week which is not good.

Unfortunately, this facility is trending down in terms of cleanliness and quality of food. They have a hard time retaining staff and with turnover comes poor service. On a facility tour, they are all smiles but reality is far different. The residents seem to come last on their priority list. My mom lived there for a long time but we finally moved her when rent kept going up but service continued to go down. When mom first moved there, it always smelled so nice and the floors were vacuumed. That changed when a new administrator came in and turnover increased. Another recent review said that most of the residents appear to require skilled care from a nursing home and I agree. That makes it difficult for the staff to provide adequate care and also difficult for residents who are looking for peer conversation and daily activities vs memory care patients. I wish the Somerville/Oakland area had another option. We had to go to Collierville but we are making it work.

98% of residents are not able to walk on their own. I thought this was a senior residence., but there are quite a few that should be in a nursing facility. The food is terrible. More like what you would see in a kindergarten school. The portions are about the size for a kindergarten child, not an adult. Better keep food in your room. Hope you like velvetta. cheese-it is put on everything. The kitchen staff needs an overhaul. The parlor is useless for visitors because it is always filled with wheelchairs with sleeping occupants. Be careful when voicing concerns and there tends to be retaliating consequences from some.

I would not recommend Windsor Gardens to anyone. It was a horrible experience.

(+) deluxe rooms were big (-) Didn't see any life skills stations. Way over priced. One staff member was eating restaurant take out while feeding a turkey sandwich and carrots to a resident.

Lovely place, very friendly staff, residents seem very happy and many expressed positive experiences living here. I had several meals with my parents and the food was quite good. Independent and assisted living but no memory care, which would have been a plus for my Mom. My step dad decided on Someroak for the time being because their home was nearby and it is familiar to them. I would highly recommend unless memory care is needed.

This place is terrible, bad food, lazy employees, and no real care services. I have heard that several people have died because no one realized they were missing. With how much they charge, that is just shameful.

This place looks fine at first, but upon closer inspection it really is a dump. The lobby is covered in dust, the bathrooms smell, and the food is the worst I've ever had! The cost is through the roof and goes up every year. There's nothing to do except play bingo or sit around. The manager was short with me and very unpleasant when I mentioned how expensive it is. They don't even provide any health services! Do not bring your loved ones here, it's horrible.
