Overall, the place is great. It's small but quaint and tight knit. The staff have been great. My father-in-law is really happy there. We found out that as a private facility, they are able to take a percentage of TennCare patients so we feel good about him being able to remain there after his nest egg is depleted, as long as we can get him qualified. The only downside we've experienced is that there is no transportation available so we are having to arrange lots of rides for him to get to doctor appointments and church.

You won't find any nicer people or people who are more caring than those at Rutland Place. It truly feels like home. They don't have the newest facility, but the caring, family-like atmosphere was the best seller for us.

The sales lady who was giving us the tour was nice but she seemed inexperienced. It was not her fault, I just think she needed some more training.

Based on our tour, we liked it here. The location was good. It was just a timing issue. They had no openings at the time when we were ready to move. We have another relative who lives here and has done well here. The building is not quite as new as where we ended up, but still nice.

The meals and dining service is is excellent, and we believe they have a good amount of activities. The rooms there are very nice, we would love to live there one day when the time comes. We were very impressed and would recommend this community to others. Our only issue we had, is our loved one fell and her call light was not working so it took awhile for someone to come and help her, but that has not been fixed.

This community is doing good for my mom. She wasn't able to walk when she came here now she is more alert and getting around and walking again. She is making friends in here. I'm thinking about letting her come back home even. The food is OK they don't load it up on salt. They try to engage her to the activities. It is clean and the grounds are kept up nice. I would recommend this community.

Such a wonderful, warm hearted group of people! The facility is clean, well cared for, and modernized. Very nice!

I think that this community is very nice. I love the staff they are very friendly. I loved this place right off the bat. The community was real clean. Also they always have a nurse on staff which makes me feel like mom is safe.

I'am doing well here at this community. It is a nice place, and I feel comfortable. Everybody have been very welcoming and helpful. Moving here has really provided me a peace of mind. The community looks great, and very well maintained. This was a good move for me.

My dad is enjoying his experience and enjoys living here. He tells me they clean up his room and take care of things in his room The community was very clean when I moved him in. There seems to be a few maintenance people and I meet with them. They told me if my dad needs anything or finds an issue, all he has to do is call them. He seems to be enjoying the meals.

I was happy with the community. The food that they provided on the tour was really good. The staff was nice and answered our questions. Activities are offered for participation for the residence. I would recommend this community.

It has been a decent experience for my mother here at this community. There are some improvement that they need to make before I would recommend them. The community looks nice, they do a very good job with the cleanliness. The care staff is good, but the service staff in the kitchen needs better organization. The food is decent, the meals are hit and miss. There are nice activities offered for the residents. Overall this community is a work in progress.

This is a small close knit community. Everyone here is just so nice and they treat you like family. It is warm and inviting when you walk in and it feels like home. They genuinely care about the residents at Cedar Hills and that is what really matters.

I loved the set up. All facilities should be set up this way but the ratio of aides to residents didn't give me the secure feeling I needed for mom.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

Respite care available only if the one suite they have vacant is still unrented by vacation date. Daily cost is a prorate of their monthly fee of approx. $3,670. Facility is bright and welcoming, but not feasible when trying to plan for vacation as they do not want to rent out a suite until they are sure it won't be rented full-time.

The security at this community did not seem to be as good as it is at the community we chose. The community is beautiful and they have some nice property. The building itself did not seem as solidly built as other communities. This community was not in a good location for us.
