The place was really nice but we would rather have the privacy and able to cook myself at times.

Though the location is great, we have run into a few issues since moving my loved one into this facility. Our primary concern is the fact that what the nurses and staff tell me are very inconsistent with what is actually happening with my loved one, to the point where it simply does not make sense.

Langdon Place is a very nice facility that can offer a family a lot that is looking to place a loved one in a retirement home, greate staff, nicely located in South nashua, nicely maintained facility, lots of programs and activities for the resident to take part in. I would recommend this place for a loved one to live.

The facility isn't is good as it was when my mother moved in in 2010. They have a new chef, the food isn't as good, staff turnover is high so service isn't as good, and especially checking on the whereabouts of residents if they don't show you for meals is poor. Activities are only marginal. The only excursion is to Hollywood Casino. Really? No cultural excursions. (They do take residents shopping on Mondays.) For what she pays, if she were younger I'd start looking elsewhere.

Not a suitable option for us as the resident must be able to self evacuate from the building. My mother-in-law cannot do that.

We really got the impression of nothing going on. The staff weren't out with the residents at all. They were in their offices and the residents were all just kind of sitting around. It was kind of sad.

Checking on this one - is about 35 to 40 minutes but not out of the question.

Staff was nice, place was dark and very dated. Director was very pleasant.

Mom took tour and said that she liked it. It is a nice place.

Lovely facility, brighter than most. Rooms are terribly small. Food was good! The director was a lovely person to work with. Pool was dirty, activities rooms were fine.

We were not overly impressed with Partridge House. The environment just felt dark and run down. It is also in a very busy location and there is a funeral home directly across the street which feels a little depressing. The staff were all very nice, but it was not going to be a place we wanted our loved one.

The place is clean and the staff is nice and tries. The food is awful and i don't think it lives up to the daily requirement for vitamins and nutrients. My father went into heart failure do to so much sodium, but otherwise it is nice.

Lovely residents, great workers. Nursing staff irregular and not interested in getting any outside help. "Medical transportation" is Thursdays only, by appointment (which is to say NONE). If you expect to rely on the nurses etc. to make medical appointments or to call the doctor - forget it. If YOU will closely observe your loved one and will take them to appointments, Langdon Place is OK. THIS IS NOT ASSISTED CARE!!! No wheelchairs or scooters - "walk" or you're OUT. Think about that as your loved one continues to age. This is just an inexpensive "stop along the way".

They don't have enough help. You have to go to the wellness center to get your meds, they don't bring them to you. The food is horrible, and there is very little choice. I don't find the activities interesting, or stimulating. I think I am a little outside of the typical demographic though.

We thought we would be paying good money to have mom taken good care of, but it is a bit of a disappointment every time we go there. Things are in disarray, there is no leadership, and they do not communicate well with us on what is going on. The presentation from the director tells us what to expect, but the in practice day to day execution does not deliver.

I would not recommend! The cost is high. They promised a rose garden, he got the thorns especially quality of care!

The legacy staff is great, but I moved my mother out because I was concerned about her safety. It seems like the newer staff (perhaps temp/contractors?) often are not good at all, and are negligent in their treatment of residents. There is a lot of turnover at all levels. Many of the "amenities" listed on this page are not really available.

We were not impressed by Granite Ledges of Concord from the moment that we walked in for our tour. We did not get that warm and friendly vibe. They had half the staff availability that other places we looked at had. It was just all in all a totally different vibe than we wanted.
