Make sure you sit down with the nurse & say exactly what you want done & how the "patient" responds to caregiver--work towards engaging your person with caregiver so they communicate & understand each other.

We feel the facility & staff are the best we've experienced. This is a lively, happy place & everyone has been so nice to us & especially my mother in law. The Doctor has been wonderful- he actually calls us & talks to us & gives genuine Healthcare direction. We have felt very at ease having our family member here.

Staff is very helpful and informative as to how she was doing , activities, eating habits , etc .

Already have recommended them to others. I would also highly recommend Intrepid Hospice who were with my loved one for nearly four years and treated her while she was at Encore. Already have recommended them to others. Care staff was very good to my mother and always checked on her regularly because she preferred to stay in her room. Breakfast always better than dinner.

My mother-in-law is settling in nicely in her new place. She enjoys all the people around her each day but still has her own place to retreat. All in all it has been a good experience for her and the whole family.

We really like the place, but there could be improvements on the activities. For the most part, the staff/care givers are great. Most seem to like their job, & are caring to the residents.

I would give a 4 for all of them. However when our uncle passed it was hospice that called us. The people at the facility not once reached out with any type of condolences!!! Not ONE word !!! Left a sour taste! It was like come get your stuff and move on especially since he been there over a year. Plus they had switched his new recliner with some other client (?) as they felt a different one worked better. The one he had in his room when he passed was old and stained. I questioned them and they never gave us an acceptable response. Very odd!!! So in some cases if you aren't there or your loved one can't speak beware !!!

Don't let them talk you into letting them handle the medication, if family is capable to take their medication themselves. Not enough staff on weekends.

The staff takes care of mother in every way. She hasn’t nothing but compliments for the staff, food.[name removed]and [name removed] are great assets to your facility. [name removed] is the most awesome person on the staff. He really cares. He needs a raise.

They have had frequent turnover when it comes to the staffing. With the meals she's picky, but getting use to it. There is always plenty to do, but she doesn't want to participate. I would love it there!! I didn't do a cost comparison with other places, as they wanted to stay in Hartland. I think she (resident) would have positive feelings/comments and would recommend HP. I have taken a few people there to show them the place and it doesn't meet the needs of their loved ones.

[name removed] was happy there. Especially once [name removed] became the Activity Director. She was such a fun person ! [name removed], the Director and her assistant were wonderful! The nurse, [name removed] was willing to go above and beyond to make sure Luka had what he needed. Staff was caring. There were a couple of occasions when staff didn't check on him and that was not good. [name removed] was in 4 different facilities with hospital visits in between. Encore was willing to take him when other facilities refused due to behaviors related to Alzheimer's.

Often short staffed when cleaning individual rooms. Our loved one is in independent living but when she did need help they were available. I have not eaten there but my mom complains a lot about the food. There are many activities available however my mother does not participate in much. independent is reasonable but the cost increases significantly depending on how much care is needed.

So far Kenosha Place is very nice for our loved one. The staff are very caring and it has been a far better fit then [community name removed]. Based on the experience we have had, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

We really wish that they had healthier meals. Also, I have heard residence complaining that the food isn't always hot. Definitely wish they would listen more to food suggestions to be healthier or at least I have healthier options. The car service should have more availability. It's frustrating that they have already increased the rent and I've heard from other people that their rent was all of a sudden raised significantly.

Staff is extremely professional. They really do care for AND about each resident living there. They also care about the families of their residents, which is not the case in other facilities I have seen. They have assisted me as well as my father in some his daily necessities when I was not available. They have done a marvelous job in making my father feel truly at home. The activities of the facility are nonstop daily. The facility puts on so many different events to keep their residents active every day! It’s fun to walk into a active community singing and truly enjoying each other’s company. That is direct correlation to the staff and residents relationships!

We picked this community because it was clean ,had good reviews and services. Close to us (5 min away) But a brand new Memory Care unit. Don't think they are fully ready and staffed. They hav no nursing staff on 2nd or 3rd shift on site. It's just young caregivers.

People do what you inspect, not what you Expect. VISIT your loved Mom at different times weekly without fail!!!Small and the People have a caring attitude.Great Nurses.

We picked this place because of the location location and the staff. Nice place but pricey. I would recommend to others.

[name removed] and [name removed] are VERY RIGID when it comes to pill time and dining. They feel they should be taking their pills at the same time as when they were at home and not at the "random" times distributed now. The pill passers can be short sometimes (3 rating). The care givers have been great! Very helpful and accommodating. (5 rating). [name removed] and [name removed] say they have too much chicken. Once again, meals are different than what they've been eating for YEARS, so I think once they get use to life at HP, they'll be fine. It's been a pleasure working with the staff at Hartland Place, from the initial contact through the moving in process. The caregivers are helpful and accommodating, trying to ease the changes our family members need to make transitioning from their home to this new community. I would recommend this facility.

My loved one is currently a resident at Bellevue Senior Living. The facility itself and most of the staff are excellent. There have been some let downs with the housekeeping and the laundry. However, the issues have been addressed and are better now. The management has been great, they're very responsive. The meal plan is great. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.
