We are pleased with the facility in general. I suppose they all have their problems. I find laundry to be an issue. Dad's clothes & sheets & towels seem to go missing. The food is absolutely terrible. He is in memory care now, so I'm aware they will have a different menu due to swallowing issues - but he makes faces when he eats & he would always eat anything. The residents in assisted living complain about the food all the time. Some of the staff is absolutely amazing. Some - not so much. I know that's not really helpful, but it's true. I would recommend the facility in general, as I know he is safe there and seems happy enough.

The facility is very clean. They have a lot of activities going on. Everyone seems to be very helpful in answering questions etc. They always respond quickly. I love the lobby and general hang-out room when we go to visit. There is a lovely patio in Memory Care and also in Assisted Living. Both are fantastic and we have access to both when we visit. The food wasn't great the one time that we ate there. It appears to be mediocre at best. Our loved one started out in Assisted Living and then moved to Memory Care almost immediately. We are having a hard time because he is not nearly as far along in the progression of the disease as everyone else in there. This limits his activities and general conversation/interaction with other people. We understand this is for his own good - as he was wandering into other people's rooms etc. but they don't have the man power to keep track of him all the time. Again - understandable. He had a wonderful room and is now in a tiny space comparably. We are getting used to how things run - but I feel like housekeeping is an issue. His room doesn't appear to be cleaned regularly and I don't believe they have ever changed the sheets. I would like to know how often he is getting a shower and I know he is not made to brush his teeth and that is upsetting. I think I would recommend this facility for Assisted Living. I'm just not crazy about Memory Care. Again - we are still learning and I may be wrong about a thing or two.

This community was okay it was jut not the right level of independence versus assistance for my loved one and what she needed at the time. It was a good tour.

We toured here, and really liked this community. It's a newer, bigger place than some others we visited. It's definitely nice, and the staff members were friendly and helpful when we were there. However, it would have taken my loved one two months to get in because there was a waitlist when we were looking.

I have no complaints of the tour I had taken of this community for my loved one. The staff where friendly and on time to our appointment as well as answered any questions we had for them. They even where kind enough to offer us a meal during our visit to see what the menu was like. I liked the the open floor plan and that it was easy to navigate through the facility. It was just not the right fit in the end decision.

This community has been wonderful to my loved one they continuously make sure that her needs are being met and that she is feeling safe and comfortable in her new living environment. The building is well maintained and is always kept clean. Overall I have no complaints and would recommend this place.

SAIDO program sounded really interesting. Too far from my home - Kathi took a lot of time with me which was really nice.

My mother has dementia and I just felt that “Devon Oaks” had the better services to be able to care for. She is having some issues but they are due to her dementia. The people are really patient and trying really hard to help her. Mom is a real finicky eater and surprisingly she likes the food. She also likes going to the onsite beautician. The outdoor commons area is nice but the indoor common area is a very small. However they do have a large TV room so they can watch their shows. To sum up “Devon Oaks” is very friendly and accommodating.

It's a nice facility, when we get back to normal this facility is excellent. They have a good covid plan in place. The apts are a good size, and the food is ok but before covid, it was a lot better. I would recommend this facility to others.

Very nice assisted living facilities. Ample common space, activities and a large bedroom. We appreciate the not for profit mission. Concerned it is too far from us and my parents church.

I had heard it was a top notch facility - My mom was here for rehabilitation after pneumonia - was she really ready to leave is my question ???? -Also-- the place is in dire need of some cleaning and refurbishing - I always felt as if I was bothering the floor staff when inquiring how my mom was doing - Yes there were a few aides etc that were nice - but many seemed unhappy - Is this the covid burnout I don't know ?- but I do know I would not choose the Renaissance again if needed.

It's really sad when you lose a loved one because of medical incompetence. My dad was brought to this facility for rehab after having hip surgery, and left a few days later in an ambulance with a severe UTI, which had basically been ignored by the staff. Three weeks later he was dead. I filed a complaint with the state, and when they came to complete an inspection, there was no wrongdoing found ON THAT DATE. Ummm......what about the dates when my dad was there??? I would not recommend this place to anyone, and feel horrible about picking it for him in the first place. There was no sense of urgency when we requested that my dad be tested for a UTI, and even though they passed the inspection, I will hold them accountable for the rest of my life.

We did visit here and have ruled it out. They were not at all welcoming and we do not want a high rise building.

Our Father received very poor treatment within the skilled nursing facility at The Renaissance. Numerous falls and the development of a stage III bed sore made the last few weeks of his life very uncomfortable. I would not recommend The Renaissance to any family looking for a safe and caring facility for an aged family member.

Our family would not recommend the skilled nursing facility at The Renaissance. The staff to patient ratio is poor and many staff are not skilled with adaptive equipment needed by many residents. Our Father fell four times, hitting his head with each fall. Furthermore, he developed a stage III bed sore due to sitting in urine for long periods of time.
