York Gardens community is a wonderful facility. My mom resided here for 2 1/2 weeks. The staff did a greet job will my mom resided there. Very caring people. The community is warm and friendly and the staff is very considerate. I would definitely recommend this community to seniors, who are still up and around and able to move around independently. The food was amazing, the facility was clean and bright. Very satisfied.

My brother Mike and sisters Nancy and Jenny toured Brookdale Champlin the other day. It is a very nice place and LaFawn and Mary were awesome people to work with. They understood our mom's wound situation and supported the in home service we wanted to use. We were very impressed that they actually had their director of nursing go and asses our mom at the rehab center. Unfortunately for us, they have determined that our mom needs memory care and not assisted living. I completely understand their decision and support it. I was very pleased with LaFawn's truthfulness regarding their assessment. Unfortunately, the only memory care room available there right now is a shared room. Our mom doesn’t want to share a room. Unless a private room opens up soon at Brookdale Champlin (which we would grab up right away), we’re turning our search to available private memory care rooms at a place that also is able to accept our mom’s wound situation.

My Father has dementia and the loving care he is receiving from the memory care staff is phenomenal! !!

I think they do a great job at Meadow Woods! The staff here is very friendly and easy to work with. They've been very accommodating in regards to some billing issues we've had in regards to getting funding with the VA straightened out. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they do a great job looking after the people who live here!

There is plenty of activities. They have a lot going on for their people. The Trails of Orono is a beautiful facility with great help. They have been really good. I would recommend them. The facility is really clean. Everyone is really friendly and kind. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The care services and activities are excellent. This is a really nice community with nice people. The residents are nice as well.

We moved my mom into the memory care unit about a month and a half ago. The staff - both nursing and administrative - are very friendly, kind and attentive. It's great to be close to the day care as mom loves rocking the babies. It is s huge adjustment since she moved from out of state, but every day she seems a little less anxious.

They have been exceptionally helpful. I don't have any major concerns, with how clean it is, or food or anything, really. If anything does come up, I address it with them, and they take care of it right away. They are exceptional, and I would rate them very highly!

This is a bright, clean facility with great open spaces and nicely decorated meeting and gathering spaces. We had lunch here and it was very good. Both my mom and I found Kari so friendly and easy to talk with. She was very knowledgeable and put my mom at ease immediately. We looked at a one bedroom apartment in the assisted living neighborhood and it was clean and felt new and open and spacious.

From the very start, touring & explaining what Meadow Woods had to offer, I was impressed. Then meeting the nurses who would be caring for my loved one, I felt secure. Meadow Woods is a lovely place, both staff & residents are friendly. Now that my loved one is there for a little over two weeks--no disappointments at all. Meadow Woods has fulfilled all expectations. Things continue to go very well. Her cares are all met, the nursing staff in Memory Care are very kind & polite towards my loved one who is not always polite in return. So for that I am very grateful, I can see where she may decide to enjoy all the activities offered. I'm so glad Pat didn't give up on me, & lead me to get to Meadow Woods to see all that they had to offer.

This is a truly wonderful community! Everyone on the Staff is genuinely loving and caring not to mention well trained and passionate about their work and residents entrusted to their care. We were a little PTSD having just moved from a far from stellar facility, afraid that every place would be just the same... but the entire experience from the first "tour" to the nursing assessment to the move-in and every single day since has been nothing but extraordinary. The Facility is beautiful and very well maintained. The intergenerational activities are phenomenal, alway's including elements of music, art and movement. Very well managed and an excellent new model for the future of Senior assisted living. The aides/staff take a genuine interest in my father as a person, and are keenly observant and aware of my father's well being physically and mentally at all times. I get greeted with wonderful stories of things my father did or said, they give courtesy calls to let me know of any new behaviors or concerns. I can rest well at night knowing my father is in competent and loving hands.

When I visited this community, the staff was very friendly. We liked it here so much that my mother is moving in by the end of this month!

I toured this community and overall I thought it went very well. I would rate them highly.

York Gardens was a wonderful transitional home for my mother as she was recovering from a fall. Almost immediately upon arrival she was warmly welcomed by a resident and invited to be escorted to the dining area for lunch. It made an uncomfortable transition easy and comfortable. As a family we enjoyed visiting Mom at her new home and having lunch in the Bistro or taking in a movie upstairs in the theater. We were very impressed with the beautiful decore of the bui lding and the constant care given to the gardens and pots outside. It amazed us how many opportunities there were for Mom to go on day trips through-out the Twin Cities or participate in activities and exercise programs with-in the building. We were able to select the level of assistance she needed by their a`la cart options and this was very reassuring as she slowly gained strength and her blood pressure leveled out. The management was kind and flexible with us as we needed to change our move out date twice. We would have loved for Mom to stay at York Gardens if she would have needed the assistance and had not already owned a condo elsewhere. There is no question we would highly recommend this home for friends or family looking for a wonderful community with assisted living options!

Meadow Woods has everything my father-in-law needs and then some. The staff, especially Janelle, is friendly and kind. The common areas are clean and clutter free. The apartments are well kept. The residents were happy and well cared for.

We liked Nine Mile Creek, they are a five star community. We had put a deposit down here, and we were going to move here. The only thing that changed our mind is that they are not elderly wavier compatible here. Once our money ran out we would have to move, and when we checked out some of the facilities that take elderly wavier, we were not looking forward to that. We ended up finding a place just as nice that will take the wavier once they run out of money. Other than that they were a really nice place.

My mother, age 92, moved into York Gardens in August of 2013, and she loves living there. Her assisted living apartment is very comfortable. She enjoys participating in many of the activities...exercise classes, church services, weekly van trips to local sites, and social gatherings. There is a lot for her to look forward to. It is a very social place where the residents feel at home with each other and the staff. The building and grounds are beautiful. Residents often sit around the fireplace together after supper to visit. In the summer, there are lovely patios to sit outside. I have spent a lot of time there, visiting her 4-5 times/ week, so I have gotten to know the place and the residents. I have only good things to say about the staff, I'm impressed with the exercise programs and many activities, the food is good, and I love the vibe. I think it's a very high quality place.

We move our mom in on May 10/14 she didn't want to leave her house. But I am happy to say she love being at the Fountains. Every time I vist her she tell me how nice ever one is their. The only thing she would like is more comedy movie the olden but goody. Thank you for helping her feel that the Fountains is home

Everything is good, we don't have any complaints. We are really happy with them.

My loved ones had looked at this place before they ever needed to. So, when it came time to actually need a place, this was the obvious choice. Cherrywood Pointe is very clean and the staff are all friendly. It was a very good experience.
