This is a nice friendly community for your loved one. The staff are very helpful with your loved ones and tries to meet all of their needs. They have activities like bingo book club, conversation hour where they meet and just tell stories. My loved one really likes conversation hour and the ice cream socials that they have also. The tour was nice and they were able to give me all of the information that I needed including the room measurements for move in. My loved one is also closer to me at this community and it is a nice quiet area.

We moved my mother to their memory care about a year ago and were very pleased with the staff and facilities. The staff is very caring and compassionate which made my mother feel at home and comfortable, which is so important for memory care patients. Our family highly recommends Discovery Village and we even recently moved my in-laws into their assisted living.

The main reason we chose The Lynmoore at Lawnwood was because they had a higher level of medical care that they were able to provide through end of life. Most other places did not go quite that far. They have more doctors and nurses who are on staff for more hours of the day. My loved one was extremely resistant and extremely unhappy to be going here and I was very impressed by how many of the staff were able to be involved in different ways in helping him settle in and make him comfortable. It was truly remarkable. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Everything is pretty good. You do get nickeled and dimed quite a bit for medical costs - doctors, prescriptions, etc. - hidden costs you don't really know about until you start getting the bills. Also the food is kind of boring. But I like the facility. It's clean. Things are generally good aside from the unexpected surprises with the medical care.

I think it's a wonderful place. They've just refurbished it, and my sense is that the company is really invested in the property. It's a great layout. And I've been impressed with the level of attention to detail from the staff on all levels. They offer a good selection of food. They have a lot of activities if you choose to participate. I think it's a great value compared to everything else we saw. And they were able to work with us on the cost.

I was very pleased with our experience at Heartis Village. They were the only ones who did respite care for a couple of weeks in the area which is why we went with them. We were very impressed with the room sizes, I had gone to a couple other places and this was the best. The rooms here had refrigerators, microwaves, etc. and other places did not have that. The facility is newer looking and just beautiful and very appealing. She did not participate but there was a ton of different activities provided. Overall it was a good experience and she will be going back soon for a another short stay. I would have no problem recommending them to others.

Arbor View has been a great community so far. Compared to other communities in the area that we looked at, the cleanliness and friendliness from the people involved with the community were very easy to get long with and work with. We believe they have a lot of different activities going on, and even though we have not had the meals ourselves - every time we talk to our loved one they say everything is good.

We love Brookdale San Jose. The people who live there have a tendency to take care of each other. They look out for one another and see that they get out and do things, which I love to see. The staff has always been extremely helpful at fixing things. They're very prompt with any requests. I love the apartment. It is spacious and nice, and has plenty of room for my loved one to move around with his walker. And his particular apartment has a beautiful view out the sliding glass windows, which he really enjoys.

Discovery Village is in a great location in San Antonio. They provide outstanding service, food, and space, especially for the price. I was really surprised how inexpensive it is. My loved one has had one maintenance request so far, and they were really quick to resolve it. They were really apologetic and great to work with. She's gotten to know the kitchen staff really well, and they accommodate any of her requests. It truly seems like they're there for her needs, which is a refreshing change.

My husband and I went to DeWolfe Place in March for a tour. My husband’s mom is 95 and living on her own. We were thinking it was time for mom to have a home where care and independence could be available for her. DeWolfe Place is a home where we could see mom make friends and also receive care. DeWolfe Place treats people like family.

We absolutely loved Holiday at the Atrium. I would highly recommend it to anybody. When my loved one passed away, they came to his wake. They are just wonderful people. They gave excellent care while he was there. And beyond that, they truly loved him. They were so good to him.

This place has exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with based on what other people had told me. I like just about everything about it. My loved one, who has Alzheimer's, gets more physical activity and social interaction than I was able to give her at home. The staff are terrific. They're compassionate and caring. It is pricey but worth every penny.

I had the opportunity to place my loved one here at this community. It was recommended by a family friend. We had heard many negative stories and concerns, we were unsure. We toured and were impressed with the overall appearance, the building is old, but seems to be kept in good repair and the interior decor is beautiful. The outdoor setting is serene. The staff make you feel welcomed and like you are a part of the family. The overall feel was very welcoming and home-like. The care we have received has been phenomenal in all areas. We could not of asked for a better place.

Our family had an in person tour and The Laurels is a phenomenal place, it is set up amazingly. In the middle there are shops for the residents, different boutiques and even ice cream parlors. They have really high skylights so the entire community it is so bright and airy. It helps those with dementia or Alzheimer's have a better perception of what time it is.

I really liked Arcadia Place. I liked the room size. I liked the activities they offered. I liked that everybody you ran into in the dining room looked like they were having a good time. It looked a lot more lively than other places we toured. As independent living, they have the means to help you if you need assistance, but they're not classified as as assisted living. Because of that, they did not qualify for my loved one's long term care insurance.

They have an actual full sized kitchen in the apartment which was huge for our loved one since they still like to cook full meals for themselves. They are really good size and well laid out. There are bars in the bathrooms and tubs already installed for assistance which is also really nice. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Solstice Senior community to others

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great experience. The community was extremely clean and everybody we met was super friendly.

I love Columbus Estates, I was in heaven there. Everybody there was very nice, I always got a hi, hello, good morning. It was a very satisfying experience and the staff were excellent. [name removed] who I believed was the director or in management somewhere was always on top of everything and very hands on. The care was excellent there and I just loved it, I was so sad to leave due to my health.

This has been a great experience. My loved one is happy here. Housekeeping, meals, linen changes and laundry service for the linens and the room are included in the monthly fee.
