Overall Serenity Place is great. My mother is happy and comfortable there. The staff isn't just friendly, they have become her friends. I would tell a friend, the same thing I was told by someone whose father was a resident. It's a good place to live. I am comfortable with my mom living there.

The admission experience was one of the best. The admission staff went above and beyond to ensure the resident’s needs were met. On admission day all departments met with resident to orient facility policies. Medication could be dispensed in a more timely manner, facility cleanliness could be improved, but overall the service is above average compared to other facilities. Maintenance staff work hard and have completed requests in timely manner. Administration is receptive to questions and resident issues. Admission Coordinator was extremely helpful during admission process. She worked very hard to ensure the facility was prepared to meet resident requirements on day of admission.

I feel my brother is in a much better place than when he lived on his own. He goes to day program at the local VA twice a week and enjoys being able to utilize the bus. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A Tricap bus is available to take residents shopping and to appointments for a fee. I am a retired home health aid/ certified nursing assistant with experience in home care , nursing homes and assisted living facilities. I am very pleased with the overall facility. My daughter and sister both said they would love living there !

My mom is currently a resident at Serenity Place on 7th. The facility is currently having a lot of staff turnover, resulting in a little bit of confusion and lack of organization. Overall, it's a great place for my mom. I would, and do, recommend Serenity Place on 7th to others.

This is a small community and it seemed clean when we visited. The staff we met were nice. They offer respite stays and some activities.

The reason why I picked Banyan Place among all the places we visited was because it had a much more positive, engaging, good vibe and feel to it. Rather than seniors sitting around in wheelchairs, they are happy and active and well cared for. It is also very fairly priced. The only concern that I have is that they tend to be a bit understaffed on the weekends and I may end up having to hire some additional assistance to help out then. Other than that everything has been very good.

We toured this location when we were looking into options for our loved ones. This was a very nice looking community, and it was on our short list of places we were deciding between. It was clean, everyone was very friendly, and I'm sure it would have been a great place to live!

The main reason I selected this place was that they have a very good nursing staff and a great doctor that serves the community. It is a clean, well kept facility in general, and the staff have all been friendly and professional. They also appear to have a good variety of activities, although my loved one does not participate in many.

nice place clean, occupants seemed to enjoy the environment. Price may be a problem but they say they will work with me but not sure they can get to a number that works for me. I will call them back after I look at 2-3 more locations.

It was a nice place. 80's decor but clean. There are no rooms available on the first floor and the rooms are very far from the entrance. Not sure about the prices.

My mother-in-law was a resident of Brandywine in E. Norriton. Sadly she recently passed away. I cannot say praise the staff of Brandywine enough not only how they cared for her but they helped our family during the time she was in hospice care. They went above and beyond caring for everyone with great compassion.

I like this community very much. The staff and residents are friendly. Facility is clean. The only problem I have is there is not pool onsite and I will have to make arrangements with the community 4-5 miles away to use their pool. There are many actvites for seniors as well. Overall my kids and I really like this community.

They were very nice but they wound up putting my mother in the regular assisted living unit, not the memory care. They felt she should be fine. That was borderline. We were gone for about a week. My neighbors went to visit her and she followed them out into the parking lot and wanted to go home with them. They got her back inside but I felt like that happened because the should have been in memory care. I agree to her being in assisted living because the dining room upstairs didn't seem to be so nice. They did bring them down for music and things with everybody else.

Front staff very helpful however nurses and aids are short and very hard to understand (many have poor English speaking skills). The food is absolutely terrible. Since I have not experienced an Assisted Living Facility this may be fairly common

The staff there was fantastic and really seemed to care! We visited daily so there was no issue with how my mother-in-law was treated but truth be told the place is kind of run down. We would have moved her but she was comfortable there and did not want to move.

I toured this community for care for my father. I did not like that it was by the freeway. The community needed some small improvements. The staff was nice and friendly. I found that this community was lower cost compared to other communities. I would recommend families to take a tour before making a decision. I did not like the area surrounding this community.

Within the five months that my aunt stayed at Brandywine on the third floor, she was not consistently showered, (three weeks went by in the month of August, with no showers!). The staff did not help her get dressed, and on days that her legs were swollen, she was also not checked on consistently! She wore the same clothes day after day! I know this for a fact, because I did her wash, also washed her face when I visited , and also helped her change her pads and clothing. The head , when she wrote a report, relied on her opinions, and not time lines and facts. My aunt experienced three falls and six hospital stays in five months on the third floor. One fall, early on while staying at BW was because the staff didn’t secure her hospital bed! Three out of her six hospital stays, the nurses at Einstein Hospital told me that my aunt needed a shower. When the one nurse, who was responsible for 30 residents on the 3rd floor got busy, medications were not provided on time. Not safe?
