They have been very supportive and helpful & full of kindness. I am optimistic that it is a great move for our Mother.

This is for memory care only (the Lantern). I don't know about the assisted living side. Very easy admission process with responsive staff. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere among residents. Realistic expectations of staff with memory care patients. patients are able to easily interact with each other in a common area. There is a good routine set up.

Food was good. Rooms were large. Caring personnel, responsive to needs and requests.

I liked the place and the staff, they were very good to my husband. The place was clean and the staff was so friendly, they all loved my husband, they had a lot of activities that kept him busy. They also informed me when anything went wrong. I wouldn't have taken him out of there, if it wasn't for getting him closer home and don't have to pay where he is now

Everyone was very professional and willing to help my mom when ever she needed assistance.

My mom has only been here for 2 months so I can’t give a full review yet but so far they are very caring and loving towards the elders. They always answer the phone anytime you call versus some other places that do not.

The caregiver staff is very caring. The follow up from the director and head nurse needs drastic improvement.

We like that the community is small at the Courtyards and so help is faster and available when needed.

They have great staff and God's answered our prayers for a temporary safe haven and place to heal for our loved one. We would recommend The Courtyards at Johnson City to other families who may need a place for their loved ones. When it comes to the meals and dining, this area needs lots of work. There needs to be healthier, fresh food...more vegetables and fruits. And better quality meats. The activities has recently dramatically improved with the hiring of a really good activities director. Previously, there were limited activities for the residents. Overall, we are happy with The Courtyards but there's room for improvement.

If you can afford somewhere else I would do that.

We picked this community, because it was the nearest location. It's a very quiet, restful environment, with helpful employees. I would recommend to others.

When it comes to the activities there have been budget cuts and not enough staff to allow for off campus travel. Bingo seems to be the only thing they do. There was a change in directorship. She came from the nursing side and is very kind, but administrative/communication is not her strong suit. This could definitely be improved as well as in-house activities/ visitors. For the most part it is small and very personal which is a blessing, but one or 2 more staff will be helpful.

My sister looked at their facility in Johnson City and liked it a lot. We needed something less expensive than, another facility due to funds rapidly decreasing. Courtyards also will take Medicaid if funds deplete I feel that she is safe and taken care of. I would recommend to other families.

We have been thankful that Courtyards has been a great home for my mom. I believe everyone faces challenges in the transition to assisted living but the staff at Courtyards has been very responsive to all of our requests. They do a difficult job in the best of times and we've seen them step in when times are tough. We know our mom is safe, cared for and has settled in nicely to the Courtyards.

This was a good community that was the right size. The fees kept going up due to the care level of my loved one.

My brother thought it was a nice facility. We think it may be a fit. The food at Princeton is a real concern so he checked out the meal situation at The Courtyards and found it much more appealing.

Reasonably priced, considerate staff, food OK. Small patient populations (15-20) in each of 3 'houses' for advancing needs. Total package well above average.

Nice place, good vibe but wanted something closer if possible.

I toured this community for my father and his needs. It is a very nice community with kind. From what I saw the community looked nice and well-kept. The staff was very friendly, and informative. All my questions were answered. The experience went well.
