All except food I would rate 5. Food rate 3-4 although we have a new chef and that rating might go higher. Overall I am very happy we chose Ashton Commons! [name removed] is the Community Relations Director and she is a large part of our choice to come here. She went the extra mile in helping us to relocate from the west coast to Pittsburgh. We are in an independent living cottage and having that independence was the second reason we chose to come here. The Executive Director Diane Hockenberry listens to questions and requests and is very accommodating to work with. A Place For Mom really helped us in our search since we were so far away. The person helping me found several retirement communities for us to investigate and made appointments for us to tour via face time. Very helpful!

Staff is great, place is very modern, daily happy hours are awesome. Studio apartment is the right size. Few of the aides could be more personable. But you get a few here and there. Overall great experience so far. Probably would have been out of our price range if they were not still in lease up.

The facility is beautiful, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. For the price compared to other places that we looked at it's a great value. And they have so many activities every day a little bit of something for everyone. I think it was a wonderful find for her.

My mom had a wonderful stay at Ashton Commoms. She was in an apartment with a kitchenette, full bathroom, living room and a full bedroom. The apartment was beautiful. She was able to move around with no problem. The food was excellent. The hair salon was excellent. The staff in the dining area and the other team members were so friendly and welcoming as this as her first time staying there. The residents were so inviting. If my mom was sitting by herself she had residents either sit with her or asked her to sit with them. No complaints at all - we will be returning hopefully again for a respid stay in the summer. Highly recommend this senior living facility. I was so relieved when we had my mom stay there for her stay.

Absolutely a "5" for everything except the food. I'd rate food a "3". I loved the staff and living at the Bristol! My drawback was living far from the elevator on the 4th floor. This was difficult with my little dog.

I needed a place to be while I cleaned out my house and waited for a broken ankle to heal. The staff helped enormously while I moved in, and continued to offer the best assisted living support. The facility is first rate, actually a warm welcoming environment with a lot of attractive nooks and crannies to sit down and chill.

Overall the staff has been kind, responsive and helpful.

Apple Blossom creates a very homey and caring environment for my brother. Staff are always available if I have a question. I'm grateful for inhouse medical check ups and physical therapy sessions. I appreciate being able to join with my brother in many on site activities: sing alongs, trivia time, worship service, chair yoga and others. Oh and holiday meals or picnics are so delicious and beautifully presented.

Med techs usually check on my dad when making rounds even though he administers his own medications. Dining room staff are welcoming Everyone seems to know and love my dad The nurse [name removed]is very helpful and easy to reach. Front desk staff are helpful and warm Intake person [name removed] is BFF material

All categories be a 5. The cost may be prohibitive for many. My friend has been there for 1.5 months and is thriving, mentally and physically. My friend has moved from a very large, well furnished home. This has been (and continues to be) a difficult adjustment. Amenities are great.

Happy staff make a joyful experience. From the moment you walk thru the door you can tell all of the staff enjoy what they do. Rest assured your loved one will be well cared for at The Coventry - a beautiful place for your loved one!

Apple Blossom has a lot to offer and the staff is responsive. Met some residents both in the independent living units and some in the assisted living facility and they all seem genuinely happy. They offer a large restaurant, movie theater, hair salon, and lots of different activities. Still early on the journey getting accustomed, but impressed so far and feel quite happy & comfortable with my parents moving here.

Beautiful facility. The care and dedication to the residents is top notch. The employees take wonderful care of my mother and keep me updated on how she's doing. Any concerns are always addressed immediately. We feel blessed my mother can live there.

Wonderful homey fun musical timely friendship.

Six months ago my husband and I moved to a cottage at Middleton. We found staff and fellow residents to be friendly and supportive. After my husbands death recently I received an out pouring of help, support and care from everyone connected to Middleton.

Many very caring and moving individuals happy to help a loved one. Very good care and willing to assist to meet a clients needs. Friendly. Helpful. Loving. They offer numerous activities for every level of client. Nice menu offerings for meals. Very clean facility. Many activities offered to include families. Very accommodating.

Personnel are all very friendly and helpful. I have been here only four weeks, too soon to make a meaningful review.
