Christopher Heights an Assisted Living Community

Very accommodating in getting information to help us make our decision The facility is very nice and the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and caring Facility is very well maintained Activities are planned and available to take part in if one chooses Meals are varied and options are available

My mom was previously a resident at Christopher Heights of Worcester. My mom only lasted for two weeks there before checking herself out, but they were fabulous people! I was very thrilled with everything!!! I would highly recommend them to others!!! I would go there myself to live, if I needed care!!!

Mom spent the winter of '23-24 at this assisted living home - on the social plan. She was treated with dignity and respect by the loving and caring staff. "CLEAN" has always been an extremely high priority for this 98-year old lady - and she found it to her liking. Her apartment was in like new condition when she moved in, yet the facility is 5-years old. The "social" aspect was a priority for her to get through the winter and there were events of some sort everyday - music, bingo, singing, etc. - plus that all-important 3-4 PM time in the pub. She found the fireplace in the lobby a nice attraction and distraction during the winter months. The hallways were a great place for her to walk at any hour of the day or night and then came Spring. Outside walks surround the building and lead on to the community senior center and beyond, in both directions with crosswalks well marked and the traffic flow interrupted by turns, keeping the speed down. I, her son, give it a solid A! A lovely spot

The place is immaculate! The companions and staff are super friendly, nice and treat the residents with respect! It's worth the money. And mom is very happy there.

I would highly recommend this facility, especially after seeing other places. The staff is very warm and friendly. They will recommend a mover who is pretty cheap. The housekeeping is great. They do laundry and the facility is immaculate.

The entire process has been a great experience. My dad has adjusted well and is enjoying his new world. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made his onboarding procedure seamless. He has dining mates whom he enjoys and has friends he attends activities with. The staff has been very attentive to me and my family. They have patiently provided us with all necessary information and documentation we have asked for. They are extremely quick to get back to us if we have any questions or concerns, which really puts our minds at rest. I couldn't imagine my father in another facility. The team there is amazing!

We think the staff members at Christopher Heights Of Belchertown are just wonderful. The community itself is clean and again the staff members are very friendly. Based no the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

My father is a resident at Christopher Heights of Belchertown. He loves the food. Before he moved in, they completely renovated his apartment. The staff has been very helpful and friendly since day one. The times that I have visited, his room has been very clean. Overall, if my father is happy, I'm happy.

Christopher Heights has been a wonderful experience for our family so far, and we would most definitely 1000% recommend them to other families. The staff members are incredibly friendly they get higher then 5 stars, and [name removed] who is in charge of admissions has just been incredible. Even though our loved one does not take advantage of the activities they looked fabulous. We really appreciate just how out of the way the staff go to make our loved one feel comfortable.

My Mom chose to move to Christopher Heights when she felt she was needing more help with daily living. She lived here happily and comfortably until she recently passed. The staff at Christopher Heights are kind, caring and have created a wonderful community. They go out of their way to make residents feel at home. There are a good variety of activities. It's a small community with a nice range of ages and abilities among the residents. Food is so-so.

Christopher Heights is a safe, clean, and very homelike environment. The staff are very attentive to my loved one. And there are a variety of activities residents can get involved in if they choose to.

After a year of trying to get assistance for my Mom to stay in her apartment. The lack of neglect from [facility name removed] and [facility name removed] was disgraceful. . The opportunity to move her here came up. She is very happy and loves it. They are making my life easier too. I can now enjoy time with Mom instead of stressing about her being cared for

My mother has been at Christopher Heights for almost 2 years and I feel so fortunate to have her in such a caring, competent, clean and active environment. I would recommend Christopher Heights without reservation. They are the best!

I helped a friend who resisted assisted living. They were so kind to her. The companions were wonderful. Two years after she passed I saw a few at a restaurant and they came up to me to say they missed her. I have already told my family if I need these services this is where I want to be.

I would definitely recommend Christopher Heights to everyone. It's a very nice facility and they take of their resident's. [name removed] bent over backwards to help us get into the facility and so far everyone has been very good

-The management was extremely helpful to me, especially with finances and room & dining placements. - The location just down the driveway, of Christopher House (which is the nursing home), is a definite plus and gives me peace of mind whenever that time comes for my loved one.

Goog clean facility food is excellent however the staff can be lazy with no regard for clients.I would recommend staff needs to be more attentive to the clients they need more rehabilitation services no gym activity no exercise other than 9 in the morning workers can be controlling and loud when speaking to clients

This is a very nice facility. My mom is friendly, but stubborn and has had a bit of a hard time adjusting to Assisted Living. The executive director [name removed] has been very nice and helpful. Maintenance has been great. They've been fairly responsive and quite nice overall here. I'd been told by a great resource at another facility that some places have an ambassador program. The program has a person that guides and helps new residents get settled. They don't seem to have that here and I wish they did. Mom could really benefit from having someone to guide her and make her feel comfortable. To me, it doesn't seem like she's broken in to the community yet. She was very reluctant to go into assisted living. She's not incredibly verbal and I know an ambassador would help a lot. The activities seem wonderful, but mom just doesn't engage and take advantage of them. I'm not sure if she's even alerted about things like activities. Overall, I would recommend them to friends and family.

I would recommend Christopher Heights, should your loved one not need many services. Activities are very repetitive with little to no imagination and the meals are also very repetitive with little to no imagination. There are a lot of "rules" which can be difficult to follow. A good example is breakfast is from 7:30 until 8:30,this can be difficult to achieve in older folks. This is due to staffing being used in the kitchen and then within the facility as service to the residents. Lastly, If your resident is a fall risk, you will need to purchase something like a Life Alert. This is because the facility does not have pushed buttons for the residents, There are simply two pullcords within the apartment.The facility does make an effort to check in on residents a number of times during the day.
