The title to my review here are examples of the diverse backgrounds the residents have here at MCCLELLAN Senior Living . My uncle moved in in [date removed] and he enjoys the new lifestyle here. Every morning starts with a good breakfast and then on to the morning activity of exercise class, craft time or an on site haircut and nail spa. Midday is lunch time and then maybe a church service , bingo or a shopping trip . Early evening brings dinner time and then games or a movie . All of the meals are prepared in Mcclellans own kitchen . This home place is on the outskirts of the Talladega National Forest and my uncle often sits out on the porch watching whatever wildlife wanders by. What an awesome place my uncle lives in.

A great place for your mom or dad!! My mom has been in it for almost 2 years. She loves it and tells us that is her home and she never wants to leave. The staff is great they are very attentive to the residents. They have hot meals, play games, have devotional and do different crafts with them. Mom loves all the staff in there and the love her also. I highly recommend this place!!

This place is great! the facility is small so my relative with limited mobility can get around easily. The place is very clean and well managed. They have an in house beauty shop and have lots of planned activities. We've been with them almost 2 years. They couldn't pay us to leave.

When looking for a place for our sister to live, we found for the price, McClellan Living Center was the best one we looked at. The day we went to visit, we were amazed at how friendly and loving all the employees were. [name removed] showed us around and explained all the details. We have been so pleased at all the activities that are provided for the residents. If you are looking for a place for your love one to live and be taken care of, you will not find a better place than McCellan Senior Living.

My uncle is there in the memory care building and is doing good. We were apprehensive at first in putting him in any place but after a hard decision, we decided to give it a try. We are very happy and pleased he is at Limestone Lodge. They understand dementia and know how to deal with the disease. They are patient and caring to him and the other people that live there. They do activities with them and are interactive. His room is always clean and tidy, and so is the building. When you walk in, it looks like a home and smells nice.

My wife and I came in from out of state and visited with our Aunt who lives at Limestone Lodge. She was clean, well fed and very excited to show us her room and her new friends. The staff was very friendly, laughing and interacting with others that live there in the living room. She introduced me to the boss who was helping another member with her walker. My Aunt stated that she does not have to worry about anything, that they have all they need here. That eases my heart. I am very thankful she has found such a good place to call home.

We were very pleased with the facility when we came to visit our long time friend here at the Lodge. It smelled very nice, was clean and inviting. The Administrator and Unit Coordinator was on site and very interactive with the patients there and the staff. It felt like a home.

It's been almost three years since her move in at MSL. She's really come out of her shell and is participating in almost all activities. She has many friends here and is happy! I can rest easy knowing she's in good hands!

My 90 year old dad moved there after his wife died. He hated the thought of leaving his home, but could no longer care for self. He loved it, VA Home called twice offering him a place and he didn't want to move. He loved the staff, interaction with friends, activities, bingo and the meals. My dad passed away last month after a 16 day stay in hospital. Many of the staff came to see him after work even though hospital was 30 miles away. They truly loved him. You can be sure your loved one is treated kindly, with respect and honesty at McClellan. It would be my choice if I needed an assisted living.

Our mother was very hesitant about being moved to an assisted living facility. McClellan Senior Living has been exceptional in aiding her transition into their community. We are extremely pleased with the care they are providing her.

McClellan is and has been a loving family for my mother and grandmother. They go above and beyond with their care and attentiveness. [name removed] made the transition for my mother moving there smoother than I thought possible. Everyone there is so sweet and caring with the residents. We are blessed to have this facility and staff!

My dad enjoys the relaxed and laid back atmosphere. He is able to be more independent than he ever thought he could be! The staff is wonderful! They care for the patients and know them by name. This is a great facility!

We have had our little lady there for over 2 years now. I honestly cannot say enough good about them. Everyone we have been in contact with truly cares about the residents. It is so obvious with a pat on the back here, a little hug there and just the care that they show each and every one. Not to mention the fact that they go out of their way to be sure the residents have all that they need and can participate in fun activities. This is the way a senior living facility should be operated!!!!

My mother has lived here for almost 3 years now, and it quickly became not just a “place” for her to live, but her “home”. She (and we, her family) loves ALL the staff, who treat every single resident, AND their family members, as if they were indeed their own family members! They provide so many fun and meaningful activities, so that something is going on daily for any and all who want to attend. They give great attention to details and to the needs of each resident. No matter when you visit, you will find a fun, happy, warm and transparent atmosphere, but at the same time very professional. Their compassion is obvious, and one quickly becomes aware that it is genuine. Every staff member and volunteer has always treated my mother with utmost attention, care, love and kindness, and that is what is most important! I highly recommend McClellan Senior Living to everyone!

I experience other elder facilities in this area and i can truthfully say that none can compare with McClellan Sr Living’s outstanding facilities and excellent care for its residents . The staff are very caring and does a great job. McClellan Sr Living is a place in our community that we can be proud of.

My mom absolutely loves McClellan Assisted Living! After my dad passed away, I invited Mom to come live with me on my farm. But she just didn’t enjoy life out here. She’s a true social butterfly—always wanting to be out and about, doing things and staying active. As much as we tried, we simply couldn’t offer the kind of social life she thrives on. At the same time, I didn’t feel she was safe living alone in town anymore. Thank God for McClellan Assisted Living. She’s been there for five years now, and it’s been a complete blessing. She goes to plays, movies, restaurants, and so many other outings. They’re always planning activities to keep the residents engaged. She even volunteers at the front desk, which gives her a real sense of purpose. They treat her like family. She feels at home, and I have peace of mind knowing she’s happy and thriving.

I am so thankful for this gem of a community here in Anniston. My dad truly enjoys living here. It allows him the independence he deserves while providing a community he connects with. Very nice and helpful staff who genuinely care about their community members.

My mother has been at McClellan Senior Living for almost one year. Mother has consistently said she is happy living at the facility. She is comfortable and feels safe. I continue to be impressed by the effort the staff makes to provide activities and outings for the residents. There is almost always something to do if a resident wants to participate. I am also grateful that the staff promptly responds to mother’s needs. Moving into McClellan Senior Living has been a blessing at this point in mother’s life.

MSL goes out of their way to provide entertainment and activities for all their residents. Their ride program has made it possible for me to still be able to work full time without taking off work for all the appointments for my mother in law. We never worry about how she is being treated or the state of the building and grounds. The staff if friendly and very dependable. We are very fortunate to have our loved one here.

Everyone is kind and great to be around. They have activities every day. They go out to eat and to Walmart and other stores. I’m able to take my Aunt out any time. I come eat with her and visit as often as I can.
