We looked in the Westerville area for an independent/assisted living facility for our mom who has dementia but is still very physically active. We toured 7 different places in two days!. Most were very nice but the warm feeling and brand new gorgeous facility at the Gables put it at the top of our list. It is like a resort for the elderly! We were fortunate that an apartment opened so my mom just moved in last weekend. Everyone has been very helpful, kind and understanding. There are 4 activities per day such as flower arranging, manicures, bingo, trips to the store, bible study, etc etc. Our family is very happy so far and there is definitely a sense of relief that we know our mom is well taken care of. Highly recommend!

I have already recommend this community to someone. Our experience has been really good. I think it is a bright and clean community. My loved one likes it and thinks the is a lot nice people. The food is enjoyed by my loved one.

The Gables of Westerville is a brand new gorgeous facility. As far as we know the care services seem to be very good. Our loved one really enjoys the activities and he loves the food. The value for cost is great.

We chose The Gables of Canton over several others that we saw. It is convenient to our family as well as where we used to live. The room sizes here are really good. There are plenty of activities provided for residents to participate in. I would recommend to others looking.

It's a verycooperative community. THe people are always happy. I don't hear complaining from the other residents even wehn there are little changes. We're shortstaffed right now. They're very good, working very hard and extremely freindly. but they're being overworked because they can't hire anybody. The food is great. There's a good variety and good quality with a proper portion size. You get two choices for each meal every day, and it's very delicious. My only complaint is they put salt in their food, and I believe that a facility like this with primarily older people could probably curtail some of the salt. They have a lot of activiites, so much going on all the time. People are enthusiastic with teh activities. And that stands out compared to other places we've visited. IT's a very well run organization, if a little expensive. Other places had a large entrance fee, but the entrance fee here is reasonable. And htey completely redo your rooms before you move in. THey have private covered parking spots avaialble. I would definietly recommend coming here if you can afford it.

This is a wonderful place. The residents are well-cared for and the staff are great. The meals are prepared to order and delicious!

I could not ask for better staff. The personnel have gone out of their way repeatedly to notify and contact me about updates with my parents. I can text the nurse anytime day or night and she always answers. They have been great with communication. The food here is all homemade and they are very pleased with it. They have been so helpful and everyone here has been a God send and I would highly recommend to others who are looking.

We chose Autumn House East because of all of the things mentioned above. But they deciding factor was the fact they have a lot of veterans here and they pride themselves on that. The director [name removed] loves his veterans and he really looks out for them and so do the staff members which is really impressive. They have a wall with pictures, they have luncheons, etc. for all of the residents who are veterans. They all go out of their way to put people who have things in common together which helps build relationships very quickly. I would highly recommend to others looking.

The cleanliness of the community is well above a five star, our mom and dad are just tickled pink living there. They absolutely love the food, sometimes it is not cooked to their standards, but they have a great selection and ample amount of food. They do a pretty good job with the activities for the residents and everyone really seems to be happy there.

The friendliness of the staff members would be six stars out of five. Our loved one thinks the food is wonderful, and the have been back and forth with the activities. She does enjoys what they have, and they do have a great line up of things to do. We feel that the value for cost is very good. This was our first choice.

We love the Gables community, the staff members are very nice and seem to really care about our father. They always call us even with the slightest things which we really appreciate. If there are ever situations they will listen to our feedback and always try to fix it, they just really seem to care a lot.

Friendly staff! Location quietly tucked away from 28th SE, wildlife is all around. The deer some and visit 2-3 time a day. The food is restaurant is quality and does not repeat over and over like other places I've seen

Whatever the place was like a few years ago, it's certainly changed since! The facility if lovely and in a wonderful location, near anything you might need but far enough back to avoid traffic. The staff work hard and care about the residents. Management also helps and has open doors constantly. Each activity every day is resident chosen and tailored to their interests, and the food is phenomenal. They hire their own chefs, so everything is in-house, not provided by an outside group.

Beautifully maintained, the staff is kind and caring, love their new Dir of Nursing and they are tucked away in a peaceful wooded area.

We've been really, really happy here. Every single staff member we've run into has been very caring and compassionate. And they've been very patient with my loved one. I've seen that extended to other residents there as well. And that's been huge for us. They've also been really great at communication with my sisters and I about anything that comes up. They are constantly cleaning and disinfecting everting. They use the most stringent protection protocols. Everything looks new and well cared for, and you don't see stains or anything like that. Some of the activities they talked about doing, they've not been doing. But that's definitely due to Covid.

The woman who conducted our tour was fabulous. Before I even came for the tour, she sent a video introducing herself. After our tour, she contacted me and asked how our search was going. She was very open and honest about the fact that they did not specialize in memory care, that instead their focus is more on personal care / senior living. But they could provide a shorter respite stay for my loved one with dementia.

We chose The Gables of Canton mostly because of the interactions that we had with the staff members, they were very friendly and helpful and I just liked everyone who I worked with. Especially the head nurse in the memory care unit and the director. They had good questions to ask us about what we would be expecting. Also we liked that they had a memory care unit which is what we were looking for. They have been wonderful with communication with everything that has been going on. It has been a good experience I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

We want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to all the staff and management at Independence Court. You all took such wonderful care of our Mom and us during our short time with you all. We will truly miss you, and consider you all as our extended family. Your place is a hidden gem in the heart of Quakertown. Everyone was always friendly and helpful during these hard times for us .We would HIGHLY recommend your facility to anyone.

The staff members at the community get a five plus, and we think the value is excellent. When they did the covid vaccine for our loved one they kept us updated every step of the way which we appreciated.

My mother has been a resident of Azpira Place of Breton for the past 2 years and recently transitioned to their Memory Support. We have been truly blessed with amazing staff who have shown compassion towards my mom since day one. Even during this difficult journey with dementia my mother has been able to maintain her dignity and still always has a smile on her face. When we toured the memory support a few weeks ago we were very impressed with the program and how content the residents were. We look forward to visiting mom this week.
