My loved one likes being in the community, and my loved one has made friends here. They sit together for meals. The community has an on call geriatric doctor who is independent of the community and this is an added plus for the residents. The community staff is good at communicating with the family about our loved one and keeping us up-to-date on things that happen. The transition was good for my loved one and the family. The community made sure to have items in my loved one's room to allow my loved one to feel more comfortable in the community the first day. My loved one enjoys the food offered. The community does the laundry for my loved one and will clean the room as well. There are cognitive games, exercise, crafts and more for activities for the residents to participate in. If there is any drawback, it would be that I'm not sure they have full staffing. However, the staff that are there are loving and caring towards the residents.

I haven't had the food myself but my mother seems to enjoy it. There are many activities for her to participate in. The staff is very friendly and helpful to all residents.

I would say that Azalea Place is a great home for someone who needs moderate care. They got mom through a really rough time. Once she got better, she needed to be around people. Azalae Place (living in the apartments within the main building area).did not satisfy that need. It is a perfect place for someone who does not like to socialize like my mom. The staff were wonderful and we miss them. The only suggestion I would have to improve service is the menu. I know that it is impossible to please everyone, but some of the items served were not the best for elderly people. Overall it was a great place, but needs change and it was time for mom to move.

Mom says food is great! And she enjoys participating in the activities.

My mom has been at the Enclave since [removed], and she is very happy there. I chose it for her because of the room choice, the lovely campus, and especially the proximity to me. There are also many activities and frequent entertainment occasions. The staff are attentive and accommodating. I am hard pressed to think of any negatives! Mom does see her own doctors and does not need to depend on in-house doctors.

I can't say enough good things about the place. I have peace of mind knowing that my mom is definitely well cared for. I have recently placed a camera in her room, as she has had moments where she falls. The staff have been fantastic at relaying any information back to me when these or anything might happen with Mom. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone looking!

This is generally a good place. The food and activities are good. My loved one seems to be more happy at this community compared to another community. This might be because there are more male residents here compared to the prior community. The community has had a lot of employee changing over. There have been a lot of times that the community has had to do paperwork over and over again or request the paperwork over and over again. The transfer to the new management company should have been more seem less than what it was.

Memory care needed more afternoon activities. Somerby's staff was caring and friendly to both my dad as a patient and my mom

I would tell others that every single employee at Somerby of Mount Pleasant routinely goes above and beyond for their residents.

Our family had an in person tour and we did really like The Terrace, it was a great overall experience

I toured MacArthur Hills and it was very nice, but they didn't have any availability during the timeframe we needed.

My mother was on zoom while I toured in person. This option for my mother was great and it was helpful that Woodbridge offered this. It was a great experience and Woodbridge is currently the top facility in my search.

My mom and I toured on behalf of my grandmother who is in early dementia stages. The staff were communicative, our guide spent a lot of time explaining when the right time for memory care is. Everyone was so friendly, so many smiles!

Amazing staff with the loveliest people around. They have activities for the residents to never get bored and there is always someone around.

Very nice place! Employees were friendly and inviting. I met some of the staff- very pleasant. Seems like a great place for dad!

Wonderful people, the community is clean and inviting, scheduling another visit with my brother, but as far as I am concerned mom will love this place. Oh and the food was very appealing and delicious!

We had a good tour at Summer Village Campus. It was a very nice place, and it was clean. But the price was just too high.

The food is pretty good and they offer a lot of activities.

We had a very good tour experience with The Enclave of Newell Creek, the facility was really nice.

My mom came to the memory care floor of The Grande after a fall. The workers there are wonderful. They took such great care of her even through the most difficult of times. She lived there only 8 weeks before her death but she found such peace in those that dealt with her. [names removed] and so many others gave of their time to sit with her, listen to her, feed her, hug her and make her last days a bit more pleasurable. She couldn't see very well but she knew their voices. She would smile when they came in and talked with her. She loved it when they would just hold her hand. Mom did not leave her bed so I can't address all of the things that were offered. If you need a place for a loved one where they will be cared for and treated with respect, please try The Grande at Laumeier. They were wonderful and gave peace of mind to our entire family.
