Bethesda Senior Living Communities

My daughters and I had a great tour of Park Regency in Thornton, CO. The facility was clean and well kept. The residents seemed happy and friendly. We also spoke to several aids and also thought that they were friendly, At one time we observed one of the aids helping a lady and she was very kind and patient with her. I was impressed with the 1 bedroom apt I wanted. It was a good size and had alot of storage. I liked the way it was arranged and the areas available for my furniture. The dining room was large and attractive.The only problem with this area is that it is closed after every meal leaving only a side area available for drinks and I believe some snacks. Guest meals were available. There was also a family dining room available. You could bring in your own food or your family could eat from the selection in the dining room for a small charge. I wasn't impressed with the craft/game area or where the big tv was located. Not enough room for these areas to be so close together and not enough area for many craft supplies. There were alot of services available. You can do your own laundry or have it done.They do regular health assessments. You are allowed pets. One other thing was that I didn't think that the transportation to culture events was busy enough. Over all I liked this facility and the people there. We didn't eat a meal at this location, but it was close to lunch time and people were looking forward to it. You should just call for a tour.

This community is a good fit for my mom, The only downfall I'd say is I wish the staff would remind mom she can do the little things for herself. They do engage her in the daily activities which is positive. She is making friends they provide lunch only so she will come to lunch to socialize. She seems to like the food it is a big portion. She has a monthly cleaning services that come in and clean her 2bdrm 2 bath apartment. If she needs additional services it is a reasonable price.

Loved everything about the facility with the exception that the units are very small and there needs to be more 2 BR units or 1 BR plus study.

I toured ViewPointe while looking for anew place for my loved one. I really liked this community. I thought it was very nice with lots of activities to keep everyone engages. However, my loved one really wanted a bathtub in her room, and this was not available here.

I did have my Mother placed her but unfortunately, I had to look for another place for her. They didn’t seem to be equipped enough to be able to provide the type of care she really needed. The facility is very nice and the management walked us through everything pretty well. The staff members were taking care of her medications and they were very good with my mom. There were a few issues here and there and things were different than what we were expecting. The food was good and the community felt open and warm. This facility was just not working for us but I would recommend it to other families.

Lovely non-institutional facility. My husband and i signed up for an apartment. What more can I say?

The Gardens is very nice and seems to be well-run. I was impressed that most of the staff members we met had been there for 10 or more years. They only offer assisted living, so their prices are considerably higher than places that offer independent living. My mom is currently able to do most things for herself, so we felt like independent living was more suitable for her.

This is a nice looking community. The person that took us on tour was friendly. The community does seem to offer some nice activities. The community we chose just seemed to offer a higher level of care.

We didn't like this community as much as others we had seen in the area. The building is older and it looks very depressing and dark. In my opinion, the whole community could use a refurbish to freshen the look up and update things. The staff was friendly and informative but I didn't think it would be a good fit for my dad.

We had a tour here and along with other places too. They were fine and suitable for our needs but my mom did not pick this community for her reasons.

We had a main goal to pick a better and convenient community. I called to see if they were a fit to tour. They were not as close as I had hoped and we found a closer community to the family so we decided to not continue with the tour.The information I got from them was helpful.

I have recently made the move into this place and I have no complaints of how things are going for myself. The staff have been very helpful with the transition and have accommodated my needs to the best of there ability. My apartment is very comfortable and I have all of the amenities that I need with it. The meals are tasty and the chef does a great job at providing us with high quality dinners.

We were familiar with this community as my parents had been here before my father passed. Our tour was done very well and they took their time showing us around both the assisted living and the memory care for my mom. We felt that another community offered a better fit for the secured assisted living that way my mom would not have to go into the memory care just yet.

We toured LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Thunderbird. The management gave us a very nice tour. They were friendly and did a good job showing us their community. The meals looked good, but the apartments seemed very small. We chose another community that was a better fit for our needs.

Park Regency was a nice community. The staff was friendly and provided information regarding the care my mom would receive. It seemed like a clean and well-kept community. We chose another community that would allow pets and was close to our home so that we could visit often.

My mother loves being here. The whole environment is very happy and cheerful. The staff is wonderful very nice and friendly. They keep the residents busy with all the activities and social events they have. The community is clean and bright very active. Mom says the food has improved greatly.

I have no complaint of how things went during my tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I liked the open floor plan as well as other amenities they had for all of the residents. It was just not the right fit for us in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone.

We toured the facility and it seems very nice. The level of care that we may require would not be sufficient for us at this residence at this time

I have no complains of how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. The staff have been helpful and I am comfortable with the care she has been provided. I think the thing I am most impressed is the family setting they have for all of the residents. It feels just like home and I love that about this place. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone.

We visited the Park Regency a couple of times when making our decision about where to place Mom. They were helpful and shared lots of information. It felt like there weren't any hidden things to know. The facility is nice and affordable. Loved the courtyard. It seemed like they would do their best to accommodate a vegetarian. The only turn-off was the front desk person who didn't look up for several seconds when I approached her to ask a question.
