Archwood is the 2nd assisted living facility I've lived in the last 6 months. It is a very nice place. The workers are all so good. They attend to your needs very good. Also the staff is great. I am happy here. And I feel safe and secure.

I am very impressed by the staff in this community. They are a very caring group and better than I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We are a small community with a wonderful menu. The staff helps each other, covering all the needs of each resident.

The support staff is excellent, but the nursing staff lacks the experience needed to thoroughly assess patients. My father was discharged 10 days into his stay without the discussed care plan for managing his behaviors being implemented. Additionally, the facility failed to identify two infections—pneumonia and a UTI—that contributed to his behavioral issues during 7 of the 10 days he was there. This facility is not equipped to handle Alzheimer’s or dementia-related behaviors effectively. If you have concerns about these issues, I recommend looking elsewhere. However, for individuals in the early stages, I would highly recommend this facility.
