After having home care for my mother in NC I was a bit disappointed here in SC. I've since been informed that the laws are more lax in SC as far as wearing gloves and such. Right @ Home has been lacking in communication. Caregivers have been very nice but move on quickly, so consistency is poor. Most importantly the caregivers are great.

Hello, I was able to briefly work with Synergy Home Care of Milwaukee County to find someone who could help my mother with some personal hygiene care during the week. My mother fell into a gray area of needed care because she can care for herself in most ways but in other areas, such as showering or cooking meals, she needs assistance. We met with Synergy to go over what we desired in an in-home care worker. My mother desired a worker that was more her age who could relate to my mom more. The first person they recommended was very young but very nice, and my mom liked her, but after the first week, she quit Synergy unexpectedly. Synergy quickly set up another in-home care worker but the second worker was also very young. Again, the worker was very nice and very helpful, but didn't relate to my mom as much as we would have liked. We eventually moved on with another company because of this. I can only speak on our experience but I would suggest that Synergy Home Care might want to hire more workers that can better relate to the person they are caring for. This will help the patient feel more connected to the person that is helping and reduce any uneasiness. Synergy Home Care as a whole was very nice, they just didn't match up an employee to my moms needs as well as they could have.

They are doing a wonderful job, I can't say enough good things! The caregiver is so fabulous! I think the world of them and feel very blessed about the caregiver that is helping my mother. They come to her home and they really seem to care about her. I think they are so great!

Overall it was very easy to engage their services, and they were quite responsive. They did a really good job explaining what services they have available to us should we need them. They did so in a very informative way without pressuring us to use more than we thought we needed, which was very nice.

The quality of care depends on the caregiver we are given. We have a fairly good caregiver. Not perfect. We expect certain things and we get some of them. But we're keeping her and overall things are good. I don't know of anybody better, but they are far from being the best they could be. I feel that the costs are high. A lot higher than they were five years ago.

My mother in-law uses the services of first light home care of wiregrass. As to cleanliness, they are 5 stars, but sometimes, they don't put things back where they got them from and my mother in-law has a hard time finding things again. in terms of activities and care services, I would give them four and half to five stars. I would not call them nursing assistant, because it's more of assisted care. not nursing or medical assistance. They take her shopping or help her with cleaning, cooking or anything heavy type work.

CNA was requested for facility, was provided immediately. Overall satisfied with the services and staff. Would recommended.

We are new to this experience, and have had good service so far. We have only experienced in home care. We were disappointed that the caregivers did not take it upon themselves to do things around the house for my Mother and Father in law. Several times they have just sat and watched TV with my Father in law who suffers from Alzheimer's. My Mother in law is not one to ask for help, so it would have been nice to see some initiative on the part of the care provider to volunteer what services she could provide. Otherwise the experience has been quite positive.

They seem to be okay. The person who does the driving for my mom isn't quite as good as the first person. The first person had a sick mother or something so now we have someone else. The first person was excellent. She was proactive and better able to manage my mom. This second person is a whole level below but it still seems to be working out okay.

It's my mother that used them to help care for my father so I only got to experience them one time but from talking to her they were really good. Anne was really good and really responsive.

As far as the service they provided I would give them a 5 but for the billing, I would give them a 2. When he came to do the assessment he said that we would need a CNA because my grandmother was a fall risk. The girl that he sent had taken all the classes but wasn't certified as a CNA yet so he was charging us for a CNA but sent someone who wasn't certified yet. He also sent us the first bill twice and when I called to tell him that we had already paid that he said it was just a security deposit. We went back and forth for about that until I just said I didn't need his services anymore. If it was going to be like that from the start, I wanted to find something else.

Things weren't organized enough by us to keep the attendants busy. When she first arrived home there were therapists coming every day to do follow up visits from the rehab center. This type of help required more planning on our part.

The nurse is good but has such an accent that sometimes I have to repeat herself but the lady sent for light house keeping was rude and did very little.

Had a few issues with sitters being late or getting called while away on vacation that they didn't have anyone to sit with my family member even though they had sufficient notice of our dates that we needed a sitter. Some of the sitters smelled of cigarette smoke. One came in with a shower cap on her head. You have to give them explicit instructions on what you want done, came home to dirty dishes in the sink once. After our service ended, made 4 phone calls about payment questions and no one would return my calls. When they wanted our business they were very prompt in getting us signed up. Otherwise, service was ok for our needs

Ok the place was pretty nice and clean. People were very friendly. Food was decent could have been better.

We were disappointed with the care. We were promised better attention to specific requests were not done . Evening medication was not given 50% of the time. Instructions for bedtimes were ignored. They basically did the minimum for care. They were there simply so my mother was not there all me. My mother was allowed to do many of the things we asked the help to assist us with., such as changing into pajamas and going to bed as early as 17:00. Overall review of this company is poor. Would not recommend to anyone.

Our interview with the team was great and the face of the company was very straightforward, kind,no-nonsense. We got a helper quickly. After the 2nd week, the helper no-showed. When i called to see if there was a miscommunication, I found out she had quit and no one had been found to replace her: 3 weeks later, still no replacement so I figured contract over.

Your girls are very friendly and try hard but, I took the time to write the details of [name removed] day and needs. I was told the girls did not read or reference them in their daily shifts. I asked that Aquaphor ointment be used for [name removed] 3 areas of radiation. One of the gals said she was using Cortisone cream on the spots. I had called to make sure the girls could read my notes and was assured they could. I even drew diagrams. I know the condom catheter wasn’t rinsed every day. I will also ask if any of the girls saw a glass heart that I gave [name removed] years ago and he always kept it in the pocket of his shorts. It is missing or lost. I really liked your gals but I know they didn’t read my helping notes. I still have them if you were interested. I did go to VT and do what I had to and got back as soon as possible.
