5s all the way across the board. What we like the most about the community is just the fact that all of those categories are 5's. The staff is fantastic. The place is clean and inviting. It's been a great move for my mom.

My Mom is at AVID CARE COTTAGE’s in Conroe. Mom is in fact GOLD, and the care she’s receiving at Avid Care is exceptional. Great and attentive care, plus staff is exceptional, even assisting Mom with makeup and hair. She couldn’t do it by herself but staff steps in and helps her. I’m going to plan on providing something for each of the staff this Christmas. Mom’s been there probably over 3 years now.

I would recommend Avid Care Cottages to others if you can afford it. the staff were very friendly and took good care of my loved one during their stay.

My relative has been living at Avid Care Cottages for 3 years now. What I love most is that the staff is very attentive and provide excellent care! We have never had a problem there and the Administrator is always just a phone call away. She is great at training staff and acting as a liason for us with the doctor's office. We never have to worry about bringing medications or our loved one not having them on time. The facility is always kept clean and is well organized. Avid Care Cottages is the best decision we've made! I am so glad to have found them!

Beautiful home; very nice neighborhood; very clean and eloquently decorated to make it feel like home for the residents. Will be a good fit for my mother-in-law who needs more social opportunities closer monitoring for her needs. Very interested in making this her new home !!!!

I toured last week. The house is very clean and the residents seem to enjoy where they live. Everyone is friendly, even the residents. I can't wait to let my out of state siblings know that we have found a home for our great aunt! Also, our tour guide was great!

We toured this facility over two months ago. Since then we have visited at least 10 properties. Of them all Avid Care Cottages stood out amongst the rest. The staff is very caring and the cooked meals are delicious. We will be moving my aunt here soon. Very pleased!

Just took a tour on 4-8-2015. The house was very clean and the residents seemed happy there. The Resident Care Director is very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly.

Avid cottages is by far the best place my step father has been in and he has been in 3 facilities since November 2015. Staff is so loving and helpful. They take such good care of him. He is always clean and comfortable. Adel Givings is an awesome owner. Loves her patients.

My mother was taken care of at Avid Care Cottages on old lodge and Glen Pine. The staff were very attentive to my mother and her needs. Pat and Adele addressed all of my concerns. I felt like we worked as a team to take care of my Mom. I am deeply grateful for their help with my mom. They made her transition from our home through hospice care comfortable for both my mom and I. My mom has passed away from her illness but I will always remember how avid care treated my mom and me.

Most of the staff are attentive to the clients. The owner [name removed] is awesome. She really cares about the clients and is always hands on with their needs. It was a great choice for my dad who had Alzheimer's.

My dad was taken care of very well at Avid Care Cottages. I would recommend. My dad passed on [date removed]. I never observed any activities. The cost was the reason I went to Avid Care in the first place. Yes I would recommend Avid Care Cottages to other families, [name removed] the owner of the homes cares a lot about the people who live there. Yes is really good about keeping you informed and communicating.

Overall we are happy with my loved one being here. There have been some bumpy roads during their stay; however, it was straightened out with the manager and staff.

I found that Avid Care Cottages group home treated my mom with compassion and caring while she lived there. Mom was always clean and well cared for by the staff at the Champion's home. They seemed genuinely concerned about her well being and comfort during her final days. They allowed our family to remain by her side until the end of her life. The house is in a wooded neighborhood that was quiet and very peaceful feeling. I recommend this home highly.

I have no complaints of how things went during my tour of this community for my mother. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them. I liked the great activity program they had for the residents throughout the week as well as the dinning menu. It was just not the right location at the time for my mother.

This was a nice tour for the care for my father. The staff was very helpful and caring. We liked the menu and the activities from this community and wanted a small community for my father's care. We would recommend this community for families to tour for the care of a loved one.

The value is pretty hard to determine. I think the price is high but there is a lot of service provided. The biggest downfall is the diet. The cooks there either aren't capable of preparing diabetic foods or they're not interested and as a medical facility I expect them to be intersted. Helen's daughter buys the groceries and sometimes she does a good job and sometimes she does a shabby job and those times you're going to get a lot sandwiches. I also think they need to get some reasonably priced internet in there so my brother can communicate with his friends and family more. Helen has been very agreeable and she is going to considerable lengths to improve things and fix any little problems that you're having.

Nice cozy home in a nice neighborhood..The director was very nice. No transport service available.

A very quaint and clean community. The staff that gave the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were very nice. It seemed that most of the residents were too far advanced for my parents required. Did not provide 24 hours per day nursing care which my father required. Would have to hired physical therapy; not provided by this facility.

My mother is still adjusting to the community. It is a nice community and everything looks great and nice and clean.The staff has been nice and helpful for the most part. The owner is great and whenever I have a problem with the staff, I can go to him and he will fix it. She plays a lot of cards and she loves the food. I would recommend this community depending on your loved one care.
