Montana, or “Big Sky Country” as it’s often called, is an ideal retirement destination for seniors looking for a relatively quiet lifestyle paired with truly breathtaking scenery and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Eastern Montana is part of the Great Plains and has a distinctive mixed landscape of vast prairies, buttes, and bluffs, which is also captured by the area known as the “Missouri Breaks” in the north central part of the state. However, it’s western Montana — with several subranges of the Rocky Mountains — that draws most of the state’s tourists. Its two national parks, Glacier in the northwest and Yellowstone in the southwest, feature some of the country’s best opportunities for sightseeing and hiking. Montana is also home to charming, quaint cities like Missoula, home of the University of Montana, and Bozeman, a top destination for fans of skiing and outdoor recreation.
Currently, A Place for Mom partners with more than 10 independent living communities in Montana.

The staff is cordial and the food is good. The apartment is cozy and clean. I would recommend this community to others who searching for one.
I spent 3 nights with my dad last week. The room was clean and they were in several times a day to talk with dad. They escort him to lunch and dinner. Large 1 bedroom with a balcony is why we picked them
Nurse [name removed] and his staff are taking extremely good care of my brother. They are staying on top of his meds, etc. Hus Care Managers made his move positive showing respect and caring for him.

I give all these questions a 5. It's a good place for mom and she is happy there. The only problems I see is the building is old and they have a lot of plumbing problems. These problems are addressed as they...
My mom was briefly a resident at The Grandview at Benefis and everything was great for her there. She wasn't there long enough to get to try much of the food or to be involved in the activities. The...

Very accommodating and thoughtful staff. Rave reviews of the food served. The ratio to residents could be better. The main center has many great activities, but limited for memory care and they could use...
Timber Creek Village was an amazing discovery for our family and we have been very pleased with the hospitality and care provided. It is a new assisted living community that is only two years old and it has...
The staff was/is excellent. We were able to sample a meal and it was delicious. The staff and residents are warm and friendly with a feel of family. Honestly, I can't think of anything that was "less." I...
There is a wonderful walking path that circles the building. It is 1/4 miles when completing a walk around. Many residents take advantage of this. There are activities (exercise, crafts, bible study, church,...
Mom has needed much more care than we knew. The staff is responsive and adjusts the level of care, as needed. They are caring and treat mom with kindness and respect. The facility communicates well with the...
