The overall experience has been a 5 at The Lodge. Staff members in all disciplines are kind, caring, respectful and trained to deal with Alzheimer's disease. My family member, age 71, was tremendously resistant to moving to the memory care; however, her adjustment over the last month has been nothing but positive as evidenced by her attendance at all activities and outings offered, saying that she wished that she had moved sooner and loving staff and her meals. I haven't seen her happier in a long time. Having her in a safe and loving environment is all that we could have asked for in the face of her disease progression.

The physical place is beautiful and the residents are friendly and happy. The staff is excellent and always trying to include the residents in activities. They treat the residents with dignity. It's not so big you feel like you are just a number and not too small that you are bored.

They answer questions quickly, they know the residents and their families by name. The aides are particularly helpful if you have a request.

I do think it is really expensive, however All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Even at times where I disagreed about something related to my Mom's care they were willing to listen and compromise. I would recommend Arcadia to anyone looking. I think it's a great place and my Mom is happy there

Beautiful facility. Staff is awesome. I have met most of the residents here, all friendly and nice. Daily planned activities, assorted. Exercise classes,etc.

Staff is very well informed and delightful to work with - facility is beautiful and sparking clean. Location and higher tiered care options down the road .

As of right now, I would rate every single category as a 5. The staff are amazing, and I can't praise them enough. The enthusiasm which they wanted to explain everything to my parents did overwhelm them a tad in the beginning - my parents are slow to transition. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families!

This is the third senior living mom tried, and this one is finally a "keeper." The residents are truly happy there, and it shows every day. We would certainly recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Staff is exceptionally competent and helpful and friendly. To make this place exceptional one must use the facilities, the classes and travel opportunities. It is two miles from the Rehaboth Beach Boardwalk. It is VERY expensive.

Truitt Homestead is only a few years old and is bright and cheery. The staff is so welcoming and attentive. One example is when Mom needed to go for an X-ray on a Saturday. One of the senior staff came in to take her, wait for her and take her home. Lastly, ther residents are so friendly and fun. Mom really enjoys her time there.

Our experience with Arcadia has been very positive. The facility is extremely clean and everyone has been very helpful. I think it's important to be very clear about any issues experienced because the staff are open to hearing them and quick to remedy them. The food is great. Most people in Independent Living go down for dinner, but not lunch.

Amazing. Can not find a better place for the price. So friendly, clean, fun, loving. Absolutely the best.

Meadowcrest exceeded expectations in every way. Our experience was fantastic. The facility is new and the staff are always courteous and helpful. They treated Dad like family. We picked Meadowcrest because of the facility and staff and the location. The room a available for Dad was a first floor room with outside access, which was perfect for his dog and very convenient for him with his limited mobility. I would recommend to others.

We picked this community because it's close to family. Only 2 years old. Very clean. Good staff. Seems well managed. Slightly higher cost than others locally but worth the cost. I would recommend to others.

They have been fantastic about helping Mom adjust and keeping her informed about what's goin on. They're very inclusive. They see her in the hallway and ask how things are going. They make suggestions about activities and encourage her to come down to the dining room to dine with other residents. They're very responsive. The apartment is excellent and very high-end. It's roomy and bright, and it has everything she needs. It's very convenient.

We are very happy with Arcadia. My sister and her husband are better now than in the last five years. Seeing people every day, different activities and our family's peace of mind is worth everything. I personally have been promoting Arcadia to our friends and relatives. I even put in an application for a job in the business office. The people , staff to residents, present a very pleasant atmosphere .

Our family had an in person tour and it is a beautiful and brand new facility, they had two floors for memory care and the first one was already filled up. It was a pricey community but what we thought was really cool is they had different murals painted on the walls which was very lovely, and each door for a resident had a different look and style to it. Overall just a really beautiful community and a nice outside area.

The staff is absolutely wonderful! They are familiar with the residents and know them by name, which is great. Mom enjoys the activities. They have housekeeping weekly and they do a great job. They do her laundry and sheets and towels also. The facility is very comfortable and clean. They do offer transportation and even help with the scheduling of her appointments to make sure it's during a time that they will be able to take her. The meals are very good. We've eaten there multiple times and it's always good. They had a Labor Day cookout for the residents and their families, which was nice. If there are days where mom is not feeling well, they make sure to bring her meals to her. I would definitely recommend them!

The community dining room is very nice. They make the new resident feel welcome by showing a picture of the new resident on an internal tv and to help the resident make friends. There is housekeeping once a week that is included. The staff are very friendly. The apartment has a full kitchen and washer and dryer in it. The staff are willing to hang pictures on the wall for the residents.
