Vantage Point Retirement Living

This is the third senior living mom tried, and this one is finally a "keeper." The residents are truly happy there, and it shows every day. We would certainly recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Staff is exceptionally competent and helpful and friendly. To make this place exceptional one must use the facilities, the classes and travel opportunities. It is two miles from the Rehaboth Beach Boardwalk. It is VERY expensive.

He's well taken care of and is a nice environment. We picked this community because of the proximity to his home and other relatives, mainly

Truitt Homestead is only a few years old and is bright and cheery. The staff is so welcoming and attentive. One example is when Mom needed to go for an X-ray on a Saturday. One of the senior staff came in to take her, wait for her and take her home. Lastly, ther residents are so friendly and fun. Mom really enjoys her time there.

Our experience with Arcadia has been very positive. The facility is extremely clean and everyone has been very helpful. I think it's important to be very clear about any issues experienced because the staff are open to hearing them and quick to remedy them. The food is great. Most people in Independent Living go down for dinner, but not lunch.

Amazing. Can not find a better place for the price. So friendly, clean, fun, loving. Absolutely the best.

Meadowcrest exceeded expectations in every way. Our experience was fantastic. The facility is new and the staff are always courteous and helpful. They treated Dad like family. We picked Meadowcrest because of the facility and staff and the location. The room a available for Dad was a first floor room with outside access, which was perfect for his dog and very convenient for him with his limited mobility. I would recommend to others.

We picked this community because it's close to family. Only 2 years old. Very clean. Good staff. Seems well managed. Slightly higher cost than others locally but worth the cost. I would recommend to others.

They have been fantastic about helping Mom adjust and keeping her informed about what's goin on. They're very inclusive. They see her in the hallway and ask how things are going. They make suggestions about activities and encourage her to come down to the dining room to dine with other residents. They're very responsive. The apartment is excellent and very high-end. It's roomy and bright, and it has everything she needs. It's very convenient.

We are very happy with Arcadia. My sister and her husband are better now than in the last five years. Seeing people every day, different activities and our family's peace of mind is worth everything. I personally have been promoting Arcadia to our friends and relatives. I even put in an application for a job in the business office. The people , staff to residents, present a very pleasant atmosphere .

Our family had an in person tour and it is a beautiful and brand new facility, they had two floors for memory care and the first one was already filled up. It was a pricey community but what we thought was really cool is they had different murals painted on the walls which was very lovely, and each door for a resident had a different look and style to it. Overall just a really beautiful community and a nice outside area.

The staff is absolutely wonderful! They are familiar with the residents and know them by name, which is great. Mom enjoys the activities. They have housekeeping weekly and they do a great job. They do her laundry and sheets and towels also. The facility is very comfortable and clean. They do offer transportation and even help with the scheduling of her appointments to make sure it's during a time that they will be able to take her. The meals are very good. We've eaten there multiple times and it's always good. They had a Labor Day cookout for the residents and their families, which was nice. If there are days where mom is not feeling well, they make sure to bring her meals to her. I would definitely recommend them!

The community dining room is very nice. They make the new resident feel welcome by showing a picture of the new resident on an internal tv and to help the resident make friends. There is housekeeping once a week that is included. The staff are very friendly. The apartment has a full kitchen and washer and dryer in it. The staff are willing to hang pictures on the wall for the residents.

I really really couldn't be happier. Living here has been an awesome experience. It's very clean and very nice. I left a gorgeous home to come here. My apartment is spacious and came with full sized appliances in the kitchen. I have a countertop, but no table (that's a personal preference). I have furniture, an entertainment center, and a living room & bedroom. The bedroom goes into a hallway that has a full washer and dryer that can be accessed behind a door. I also have two closets; a coat closet in the hallway and an almost walk-in closet in the bedroom. My balcony is a good size too, I have plants and a chair out there. Arcadia offers transportation to appointments and stores within a 10 mile radius. They allow pets as well, which was very important to me. As far as activities, they have Tai Chi, arts & crats, all kinds of card games, and physical activities. They also make mass available 4 x a week. Overall, I would recommend Arcadia at Limerick Pointe to others.

I would recommend Arcadia to others for their loved ones. It is a pleasant environment. My loved one is happy here, and enjoys the meals. The staff are friendly and caring. They also keep you in the loop about your loved one through communication. The food is very good. There are some activities available for the residents. Some of the activities include arts and crafts, happy hour, exercise, games, and more to keep the residents engaged.

We had a great tour with Arcadia, they really rolled out the red carpet for us. It is brand new and extremely nice. We really liked the facility, but his care was increasing and they were not able to take him.

Good community, not the right fit for my loved one.

Arcadia is an incredible community with a lot of really great people. The community is beautiful and brand new; but more than that, it's definition of what a true community should be. Warm, welcoming, inclusive... Arcadia checks all the boxes and would be one I am so excited for my grandmother to move into in just a few weeks.

People have been generally pleasant to deal with and will greet my dad when they see him. Dining service is extremely slow. The only thing I would say negatively is that it's very pricey and you have to pay extra for each service .. Since it's assisted living i would think that shower service would be at least twice a week as an example... Being a brand new facility it is very nice inside. I would recommend The Lodge at Historic Lewes.

Our family had an in person tour with Arcadia at Limerick Pointe and overall we thought the tour experience and the community was very nice it all seemed very nice.
