I am so grateful for the loving and attentive care the Greenway Manor provides our loved one. The staff is incredibly kind and patient, always going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being. The community feels like a warm, welcoming home with plenty of engaging activities and delicious meals. We highly recommend Greenway Manor to anyone searching for a supportive assisted living environment.

My husband lived in The Greenway ManorI for 20 months. Address: [address removed] In [date removed], he entered the final stage of his life and began hospice care. In [date removed], the owner called me and said she needed to raise the rent significantly, $[fee removed] a month. She asked my husband to move to another place of hers or move out. She only gave me two days, and after a difficult discussion, she finally asked me to move out within two weeks. I think this is very cruel, to drive out a dying old man away 11 days before the Christmas for more profit. I don’t believe it can be legal either.

He suffers from a stroke and dementia and recently started hospice care. [name removed], the owner, increased rent by [fee removed] in March 2024. She then called on Friday night [date removed] to let me know that rates were being substantially increased again, this time by[fee removed]. To avoid the increase, she said he could move to her other facility. This would have been a downgrade, no private bathroom, etc. She said he would have to move by Monday (2 days), as she had a new client to move into his room. If not, he would have only 2 weeks notice to move out entirely (legal?). A business has a right to make money, but the service objects are people and shouldn't be treated so callously. I find this a cold and heartless predatory practice that places profits over humanity. 11 days before Christmas, my poor dying husband had to uproot everything.
