Contacting a place for Mom has been a great help for me. The Home Star Of Hope 2 was the first place that I went to and it is within 1 mile from my home. I went to two other homes and compared and then I went back for a second visit to Star Of Hope 2. I had a couple other opinions with a friend and my daughter, and they too like the place. My mother has been there for two months and has adjusted nicely and actually likes being there. The people in the care there are tremendous. I would recommend Star Of Hope 2 for anyone seeking for a place for their loved ones . My thanks goes out to a place for Mom for all the help that they've done for me.

Karen and Alex took care of my mother during the last years of her life. Karen cooked beautiful and delicious meals for all the residents. The Star of Hope is always clean and organised, but most importantly, Karen and Alex make friends with the residents, which in my mother’s case was not an easy thing to do. They respected her wishes, treated her with dignity and made her life a joy. My sister and I remain deeply grateful for the care she received in their hands.

This is a home that truly cares for each resident. The owners and staff strive to meet each individual need in a comfortable, secure, and extremely clean environment. If you are looking for a safe and loving environment, you need look no further.

I moved mom and dad into Star of Hope in July of 2020. They had been living in a senior living community. Dad was going blind and in a wheelchair while mom’s dementia was progressing. It was important to keep them together. As I looked into memory care I found not only was it expensive, but once the money would run out they would kick mom and dad out. That’s when I found Star of Hope. What a blessing. When I moved them in dad was extremely happy. When he needed assistance they were there to help him immediately. He no longer had to wait 30 minutes for someone to help him to the bathroom. Mom had someone to go on walks with and talk to. They were treated with love, dignity, and respect. Dad passed in late 2021. He was singing at breakfast went in to take a nap in his recliner and peacefully passed at 96 years old. Mom is now 101 and her dementia has progressed. I am so grateful for SofH and the love and care they gave to dad and give to mom. It’s a relief to know they are taken care of.

In 2021, the care needs of our grandfather exceeded our capabilities. If he couldn't be at home with us, Star of Hope was the best possible place he could have been. Their focus on his quality of life was incredible; they always provided the foods he liked most, met his humor and banter with their own, and genuinely made him feel like part of the family. We never had to worry about whether he was cared for, as it was perfectly evident every time we visited. He never had a single complaint about his care and treatment, and we felt such relief knowing that he was in great hands. The staff at Star of Hope had excellent communication and were very easy to collaborate with. We are forever grateful to them for giving our grandfather a safe, comfortable, and understanding home for his final years. We will always consider them part of our family, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing care.

We have found our mothers time at Star of Hope 2 to be the best care she has received since we moved my folks from their home. [name removed] and [name removed] have created a loving and comfortable home for my mother. Every need is being met by the wonderful staff at Star of Hope. The home is clean, organized and in a great neighborhood. We also have recommended Star of Hope 2, to several other families, as my siblings and I have navigated the ever changes needs for our mom.

Star of Hope 2 has lovingly cared for our mom for over a year. It is a cheerful, safe and loving home with excellent employees and leadership. The owner has many years of medical nursing experience and is attentive to all our needs. Our family has experienced 5 other care facilities for our elderly loved ones and SOH2 is by far the best. We have recommended the facility to friends who are equally pleased with the care and attention they receive. We are happy to visit almost everyday and enjoy our time with mom and everyone there. Be sure to include a visit to Star of Hope 2 when you are making this most important decision for your family.

If you are looking for a great Adult Family Home for a loved one, I cannot recommend [name removed]and [name removed]from Star of Hope highly enough. They took care of my sweet 93 year old mom in her last months with love, kindness and dignity in a comfortable family atmosphere. Definitely not a “corporate” caretaking business. They are located in Twin Lakes area of Federal Way.

After trying and being dissatisfied with a memory care facility that had too many residents for the limited number of care providers, we found SoH2. What a world of difference. The SoH2 owners and staff are sweet, caring, and very accomplished at providing all required care. Their loving attitude blurs the line between them and the resident's family. In fact, they are, in all respects, family too. This care is for the most important person in my life and their's nothing more important to me than her care. I could only be happier if she were still at home.
