I was very happy with Tom. He explained things in detail, explained it again when we didn’t quite get it. Answered all our questions and gave us a nice tour. I liked the place very much. Nicely decorated, bright with lots of window. Smells good too!

It's a very well run organization. It's very clean, immaculate really. My loved one likes everybody there and says they're all very accommodating. He only gets dinners there, and they've been very good. He thinks the food is really high quality. The only thing that's missing is there's no grounds really, no garden or walkway if you like to go outside and walk. They have a beautiful veranda, and a patio, but the outdoor space is extremely limited. Other places at the same cost have pools, and this one doesn't. He chose The Club because he loved the apartment. He got a corner apartment with a lot of light. If your loved one isn't driving, there's not much to do right now during Covid. They do have their own movie theater, and there's a calendar of activities on their internal TV station. They should be offering more once Covid restrictions lift. But there are incredible views here. It's at the top of a hill, and you can see the river and the sound.

The staff is great and does a wonderful job. The food looks good and they have amazing restaurant quality desserts. They have activities starting back up and they have music several times a week. The building is brand new and it reminds me of a five-star hotel. I would recommend this community to others

I think the community is a great place and well worth it. The director has really helped a lot. Communication is good between the staff and our family. They have kept us well informed and up to date. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose The Sheridan because of the independent living facility was exactly what my dad was looking for. I do wish that they would be more personable with the residents as far as encouraging them to participate in activities. Like maybe come knock on the door and take him down there. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

Thank you so much to [names removed] and the entire staff at North Shore Place. You have made my parents transition from the east coast as seamless and stress free as possible. Despite all the setbacks with Covid and my Dad's declining health you worked with our family to get my parents settled into their new environs. North Shore Place is a beautiful community with loving staff and great accommodations. The help of the team at CMFTO , led by [name removed], with the physical move of my parents belongings and then setting up their apartment was "beyond words". We would highly recommend North Shore Place to anyone looking for an Assisted living community for their loved one.

The team at North Shore Place is wonderful. They are compassionate with the residents and engage in regular communication with family. I would HIGHLY recommend this community. They go above and beyond for the people they care for.

From what I see it seems to be clean, the staff are good, they are nice to my parents, which is very important. We are able to have virtual visits with our loved ones. It is a good location, airy, and clean.

I would highly recommend the community for your loved ones. The staff and community bent over backwards to assist the family and my loved one in getting into the community quickly. My loved one enjoys it here. The activities aren't happening because of COVID, currently. I would like to see the residents that are vaccinated to be able to participate together. I'm not sure if this is restricted due to Board of Health restrictions.

The staff was so compassionate and friendly. They did a good job taking care of my loved one and tried to provide in-room activities for her. The communication was so good when it came to covid and keeping informed. I would recommend this community to others and already have.

I think the facility was a great place, it was just not the right fit for us. We had a hard time with the billing person to get back to us after we moved my mother out because they were charging her for things when she was not there. So the communication was not the best from them and it was frustrating for us. Other than that, it is beautiful place and they are doing as a good of a job as they possibly can with covid. The move in process was easy.

Tour and discussion went very well. Was pleased that my meal, meds, and mothering concerns were favorably addressed. [name removed] was very knowledgeable and helpful.

It was a very easy transition to move into this community, The staff really worked hard and helped make the transition better during covid. I would recommend this community to others. this is a welcoming community

I feel the community has done a good job of containing the spread of the virus. They have been conservative of their planning. Unfortunately like activities have not been available, but this is to prevent the spread of COVID. They have had some staffing issues. I don't know of any community that hasn't. There are no discounts when staffing levels aren't provided. The wait times for care has increased.

We have been researching assisted living places for our mom. We had heard about them through a friend whose mother had stayed there. [name removed] their Director of Sales has been outstanding. She is thoughtful and caring. She has gone the extra mile. Always available to answer questions and find the information and answers we need. She definitely has made this process so much easier. She is a wonderful ambassador for this facility. Thank you, [name removed]!!!

Our father has been living at North Shore Place for a little over a year now, and he and our family couldn’t be happier. At age 92, he’s enjoying delicious meals, various activities including movies, singalongs, and chair volleyball, along with the additional healthcare needs he has at his age. He’s even made some new friends. Their staff, led by Executive Director [name removed], Director of Hospitality [name removed] and Health & Wellness Director [name removed] have been so attentive with our family’s various questions and proactive in identifying what our dad needs to stay healthy and fit and get the most out of his time there. This past year has posed tremendous challenges for the entire staff. Through it all, they’ve taken great precautions to keep the residents safe and well while maintaining a warm sense of community for everyone who lives there. We feel so fortunate knowing our father is in the perfect place with such devoted support to enjoy his golden years.

The meals they serve are good, however there is no dining service due to covid and they still try and do some activities but there are limited.

It is a brand new community and it is really nice. Our loved ones have had no complaints. We do think they are doing they best that they can given the current circumstances, and our loved ones do think the food is good. The staff is great, very friendly and accommodating, they really are on top of things.

My husband only here a few months but we had a really good experience during his stay here. I would recommend the facility to others who are looking.

We chose Sentry Hill at York Harbor because I just liked what they had to say and offer during the tour. We we really in need of getting our loved one placed and they worked with us quickly and were great to her. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend.
