Oh what a wonderful convalescent home here Lakewood Park Manor in Downey California. My retirement snuck up on me I suppose but I knew I didn't want to be a burden on my family so I pushed for them to put me in senior citizen housing. They searched and searched and found the very best senior living facility here at Lakewood and now we all love it.

After my mom passed my dad needed a place to live and he insisted that it wash't going to be with us. We found the senior apartments at Lakewood Park Manor in Downey CA and he fell in love.

The past 3 months for my mother over at Lakewood Park Manor in Downey California have probably been the best she's had in the past few years. We've been trying so hard to take care of her at home but we simply don't have the resources to do it. She's not in terrible health she just needs extra care that we can't provide. She loves it there and we love that we found this great senior living facility.

This nursing home takes great care of my parents. They talk about how much they love this place AA the time. Best facility in Downey CA.

I moved my mother to the facility about a month ago, she feels like being in her home, she adjusted so well, mom is a loner but she made friends the first day which was very surprising for me, staff are very friendly and the administrator is very helpful answering all the questions and concerns,

I looked everywhere to find a "home like" environment for my mother. This place is amazing, you don't feel you are in an assisted living. My mom loves their kind and caring staff.

We really like this affordable community. The staff are pleasant and the facility is clean and open to provide lots of natural light.

Lakewood Park Manor is a five star facility. They recently remodeled and have a full activity program for my mom

Lakewood Park Manor is a great adult community. They have proven time and time again that they are the best place for my mother in law. Being able to travel to visit family without worrying has been the biggest blessing.

Lakewood Park Manor is a beautiful facility that offers every amenity you could think of. Salon, dining room with great food, library, transportation, and the list goes on and on. What really sets the community apart from the others is the leadership. We visited Lakewood Park knowing we needed to make a change but felt nervous about the unknown and left feeling like we should've made it years ago. If you aren't sure, call them and you will feel at ease in moments!!!

Lakewood Park Manor has been a joy from the very start. The staff is friendly, caring and fun and very personable. My grandparents love living independently in a facility that provides such great care, good food and an endless list of activities to keep them healthy, learning and having a great time. If my grandparents need help or have questions, the staff is very responsive and helpful. I have found this to be true as well when asking questions or inquiring about their care. I really can't say enough positive things about this assisted living facility!

What a great facility! The staff is always professional, friendly and helpful. I visit my dad frequently; even during off hours and I always feel the staff offering the best care possible 24/7. The staff treats the residents and me like they are a member of their own family. I can't think of an area where Lakewood Park Manor falls short. Even the food is good. Put them on your list when you need to look into assisted living.

The transition from her home to an assisted living facility was difficult for my Mom “Cooky,” but the staff at Brookdale Alhambra went out of their way to make her feel accepted in her new home. The medtech staff are professional, the building maintenance are caring for both their job duties and towards the residents, the food preparers are outgoing and supportive and the administration staff are open and willing to listen to the residents and their families. I highly recommend this assisted living facility.

I currently live at this facility and I ended up picking this one because of the location. It’s close to what I need. The staff here is very nice and the building itself seems to be well maintained and clean. Even though I’m not here during the day, I know they have a lot of activities and social events. The food is okay and the menu is a decent size. I would recommend this facility to other families
