Promenade Senior Living

From my first contact with [name removed] to our scheduled tour with [name removed] I cannot say enough good things about The Promenade at Tuxedo Place! While both were instrumental in providing me with support & information throughout the application & placement process what struck me most was the warmth, openness, compassion & sense of community [names removed] imparted. As if welcoming a new family member to their homes all the staff helped my father transition from a stressful life altering move to a caring, friendly & nurturing environment he now calls "home". My father has only been there one month but has thrived & enjoys each day with endless activities & the encouragement & support of all the staff. The facility itself reminds one of a cross between a B&B and a warm inviting inn that is well maintained with nicely appointed rooms & common areas and a "cozy" feel. Making this decision for and with a parent can be exhausting, confusing, emotional and time consuming. Thank you [names removed] for being my lifeline throughout it all and for making dad feel "part of the family"! I highly recommend The Promenade at Tuxedo Place!

My mother in law is living at The Promenade in Middletown. I can't sing their praises highly enough. The place is run like they are caring for their friends and family, not like it's a business. They are incredibly helpful and supportive of the family members who are dealing with the complications and emotionally trying time in an elderly parent's life. Moms care aides are so loving and helpful. She always is dressed beautifully and they even curl her hair! There is something to do all day long in which she can choose to participate or not. If there are problems, they are addressed immediately and fixed. The dining room smells delicious and the variety of food is abundant. If mom doesn't like the meal, there is always an alternative available. The staff has been incredibly helpful with insurance claims, medications and emotional support. Her room, and all the common areas are clean and tidy. I told my kids that if I ever need support they could happily put me there! Thanks to all the staff there for taking such good care of mom! It was a difficult decision but the best one we ever made.

Had a nice visit/tour. It is somewhat outdated but appeared clean and staff very friendly and informative.

Very clean, homey feel, cute set up doesn't feel like a facility, friendly staff, cute dinning room and lots of relaxing areas. Many daily activities. Studio room quite small but luxory room more suitable.

Mom really liked it. Sprawling large facility. Food served restaurant style. Decore cheerful. Clean.

This community was pretty and clean and gave the feeling of being comfortable for any future resident. The representative showed us the place and the amenities they provided for the residents. They just were not able to take my mom.

Mom loves the place and everything about it. She enjoys the food and the dining and she is getting involved with the activities that they offer. We are very happy with this community ourselves.

This is a outstanding community for my father. The staff is just great. My father is happy with the food. He is active in some of the activities. We are happy that this community is only one floor. This is a small community that feels like home. Alot of attentive is given here. i highly recommend the excellent care here and the great value to other families.

All of the staff have been amazing at making sure my mother is comfortable, they often go out of their way to check on her multiple times a day to make sure she is satisfied. They also have been great with reaching out to my husband and I if there is ever a problem or with any updates she may have. They offer eventful field trips and fun activities to make sure the residents are staying busy throughout the week.

This community was my first choice, unfortunately it would not work out for what my mom needed. This community was clean and I loved the people.

I am a daughter of a resident: I moved my Mom into Promenade at Chestnut Ridge 1.5 weeks ago. People are friendly and that there are a lot of activities. The place is bright & she is treated well. They have three meals a day. The facility is clean, spacious, and very bright with a nice outdoor area. Most importantly, the staff is great and I am especially impressed with Debbie [Removed] (Marketing) & Karin [Reoved] (RN) .

My mother has only been there a week, so my opinion may change, but so far she is very happy there.

The staff members at the Promenade did everything right by the book. There was no problem with them whatsoever. As far as filling out all the paper work and everything, it was just a real smooth process.

Promenade at Chestnut Ridge is a wonderful facility. The rooms are beautiful. The staff just need to smile more there. When we as family come in it would be really nice of the staff to be a little more cheerful. I realize it is there job but still. Other than that it has been a good experience. It is very close to my home. Overall I really do like this facility.

There is nothing that Promenade at Blue Hill can improve on, they are doing a great job. My mother is not easily pleased and she loves it there. She was a little reluctant to move in at first, but she is glad that she did.

This is a wonderful, friendly facility and the small size is very comfortable and homey. The staff is wonderful from the activities personnel to the nursing staff and the aides.

We're very pleased with Promenade at Chestnut Ridge, my loved one has really flourished here! She was very hesitant to move into a senior community, but I begged her to try it for just one month. She did, and absolutely fell in love with it. She tells me "I never knew life could be like this!" It's a beautiful facility, the staff are friendly, and she loves all the activities they have to offer.

They do an excellent job at Promenade at Blue Hill, I would highly recommend them. It's a small community and the residents here get a lot of one on one attention. The staff is friendly and professional, and they really get to know their clients as individuals and learn what works and what doesn't for each person. The facility itself is well kept and clean, the residents look content and well cared for, and even the food looks good. It really is a nice place.

I found the Promenade staff to be very kind and courteous as I transferred my mother out of a Sunrise community. Promenade was much more fair in pricing and honest up front then the previous community that I used for my mother. I highly recommend Promenade as it has a much more "homelike" environment then other places that appear to be more like high end hotels.

Overall it is a good facility. I dont have any complaints. They have good food and a few activities. The people that work their are nice and considerate. There on top of things at all times and nice rooms. Glad we chose this place.
