As far as the care services, and the staff members we felt that they didn't have enough eyes to be able to watch all the residents. Our loved ones clothes and shoes got lost. One time when we came to visit we saw another resident wearing our loved one clothes. The food was fine it was cooked good, our loved one had no complaints. The rooms at this community were pretty spacious. However the one issue we did experience is our loved one went into the hospital early March, and Pleasant Garden's accepted our March payment, but they ended up not letting our loved one back into this community once she was released from the hospital. We had to find out from a third party that she was not aloud back in. There was a major lack of communication and no one could give us any answers.

generally poor treatment of residents but my mom was kept clean while there. spoke to residents even when we were present poorly. kept our mom and her room clean but again overall poor treatment of residents when no one was around. but we still haven't received a formal apology from the house manager or owner who both are aware of the issue. no activities in the home but she went to an adult daycare, comparable to other similar facilities.

If u bring food for your loved one the staff helps themselves to it. The place is loud and the living room area is cluttered. There were constant flies and roaches in my fathers room. Sometimes the food was sub par for the amount he was paying monthly. We removed our loved one from there. It was just not the right place for him. Not all bad but not enough good.
