[name removed] & his team do a wonderful job caring for our mother & assisting her daily on her needs for daily living. The team is very professional, caring , friendly & respond in a timely manner to requests, questions, etc. on a daily basis.

They did a really good job with the care service. They were really nice and always checked on my loved one. Everything was good with the food. The value for the money was fair and very reasonable. We picked this community because of the professionalism , I felt comfortable with the facilty, and felt my loved one would be safe. I would recommend to other families.

I wish they could give showers every other day. When laundry smells should be washed right away. Dining tables get washed down at night. More activities on weekends. The staff is great when they come to work . I feel there should more staff so they don't have to wait so long to get help. Wish I could use washers to do their laundry when I visit for a couple of hours.

This facility was really nice. They took very good care of my mom here. She got all of the care, help, and attention that she needed. I couldn't ask for more. Excellent communication with the family. The staff was great and always gave me extra updates/information when I visited. I really appreciated that. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

Park Place Assisted Living was an excellent place for my dad. He was only there for a month and a half on hospice. They took really excellent care of him, they provided wonderful care. The caregivers were good, they checked on him a lot. It felt like a homey place and it was very nice.

I have recommend the community to others. We have had a good experience here. The community serves three meals a day to the residents. There are lots of choices to choose from. The staff are good to work with if we have questions or concerns. Some of the activities include dominos, exercises, field trips, and more for the residents to participate in. They have lockboxes for medications in the community.

The food is horrible. My loved one hates food available. The food is cold and the coffee is cold. Each day the community offers a hamburger or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to the residents. There needs to be more variety for the residents to choose from for meals and better nutrition. The community has a new general manager, so I'm hopeful the food will improve as well. The community is taking care of my loved one.

For whatever the reason a family is looking for a facility, it's a difficult time for all involved. They made the experience a pleasant one. I've become familiar with staff and residents. I can be a daughter again. I'm relieved my mom is cared for 24/7.

They have met and exceeded, our expectations for my loved one. It's very clean, and they are friendly. We are pretty pleased. We picked this community because it was clean, and the closet to our budget. It's been a very good experience. In addition, the rooms are larger than most.

I had a family member here and we loved it. The care was great and cozy environment.. would highly recommend.

We had a problematic experience at a different facility before switching to Wisteria Place. The comparison between the two was like night and day. Wisteria Place's facility was not quite as nice, but the level of care was amazing, especially during our loved one's last weeks there before she passed away. We couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is just amazing. They go above and beyond. They were great communicators with our family. And they really do have the best interest and needs of their residents in mind. They also have a physician that would come directly to the facility, which made things so much easier.

My loved one is doing really great at Desert View, and I'm so thankful to have found them. I have no complaints. She's receiving good care. They know her. They bring her what she needs before she asks for it, because they know her well. I'm really impressed with them.

What grabbed our attention right away from the initial tour was the directors enthusiasm, that sold is immediately. We love the room layout, it is outstanding - it is something our loved one can live in long term, she has a little kitchen area and other spaces besides just a bedroom and bathroom. We have not had the meals ourselves and sometimes our loved ones complains but she is eating so overall the meals are good nothing concerns us, no red flags regarding the food. They do have some good activities going on. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families.

Once our family realized our parents needed 24 hour assistance, we began researching our options. We quickly realized that Desert View was the best option (as outlined in the five-star ratings below). Additionally, they are more proactive and assist with the VA process better than any other facility we visited. The family philosophy is enjoyed and appreciated by all of us. All aspects of our experience have been consistent. My family and i highly recommend Desert View Senior Living.

I'm really happy here, this is where I want to spend the rest of my life. The people are respectful and I just think it's great. The food could improve, but they do have an alternative menu that you can order from. If you have diet restrictions; if you're vegan or vegetarian they have a special menu for that. When others have asked me how I like it, I tell them that I love it. I share a room and we get along really well, I feel like family here. I know my daughter who visits me every weekend, she says there's so much to do and that's true, I'm so busy I hardly have time to take a nap. I do really like it here, and even if I could afford someplace else I don't think I'd leave here. They are just wonderful people. They have a bus that takes us to the bank, doctor appointments offsite, there and back. Some of the activities include outings to Dollar Tree, Ross, Walmart, and out to lunch at Olive Garden. We are going to a place called Blueberry Hill for breakfast on Friday. It's a really great place. Depending upon the person, that determines how many activities they'd want to participate in. If you're not a people person then that's okay too. We have a beautiful library with really nice books, and a gazebo outside. It's absolutely gorgeous, it's a nice place to stay. Another thing that's important to me is that it's all one story. At some point it could have been a motel just in regards to the layout. It's beautifully landscaped. Each room has their own set of blinds and a closet per person. They pay for cable, WIFI and all utilities. The only thing they don't pay for is your personal cell phone. If there are people like me who are diabetic, you can have a few snacks in your room and it's no problem, it's like my own home. I have a microwave that we bought. I can pop popcorn. I call it an apartment, but it's more like a hotel room with beautiful décor. The value for the money, it can't be beat. I don't think they raise the rent every month. There was a Covid outbreak and they came in to give us our food from the dining room, they took our orders everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There were 19 of us who had Covid, spread across the entire facility. They laundered all of our sheets, beds, and covers. They disinfected everything. If you can't make up your bed, they'll do it for you. It's all included - they will make your bed, and change your sheets. There's nothing negative I could say. The food isn't bad, but it is summertime and it is really hot here. They've got big hefty meals like pot roasts and beef stroganoff for lunch but people want lighter meals for summer. For fall and winter those meals will be fine. I'm vegan so ill have substitutes. There's a whole menu on the back and you can put together your own sandwich, but it takes a bit longer. Your rent includes 3 meals a day and beverages. This coming Saturday they are having an entertainer. They do this once a month and he's coming to sing, I'm looking forward to it. He's very popular here. They have snacks like cheese and wine, cheese and soda. They do have a happy hour, its open to people. There are some who smoke and there is a designated area and they can't deviate from it at all. There's something for everybody here. I know a lady next door, she has a whole big room. She's been here for 5 years and her husbands had Alzheimer's, she was able to go down and visit with him everyday. When he passed, they were so attentive to her and loving to her it really touched me. Their behavior was real, it was sensitive and touching, it was just beautiful how they treated her. She was grief-stricken, but they are really sensitive to how we are living. If we need to talk to someone who isn't a resident, we can do that. Even the executive director of this building, [name removed]. She is a young woman with a fabulous personality. She will sit and talk to you as long as you need to talk. She came in the activities room on 4th of July and we had so much fun. They have a beautiful activity room, with comfortable sofas and chairs. A beautiful kitchen with a marble bar. We have coffee and conversation where people meet and play games. The guys can drink beers and watch football games on the big screen TV. If you don't want to do anything, you can stay in your room as it has a beautiful view. They stick to the states rules all the time, and that's what I respect. I really respect this place and the people.

My mom has been at Desert View Senior Living for a little over 2 months and is really doing great here. She's more communicative and she's gained some weight - which is good. There were a couple of hiccups initially, but I think part of that was my learning process and learning when to deliver supplies. For example: one time I had to take her to a doctor appointment and she had an accident at the appointment. When I went to change her I saw that she had on a makeshift diaper. When I brought her back I learned that she was out of pullups, but no one told me. Aside from that, everything has been going great; I'm happy for her and I'm proud of her. One of the things that's really impressive about Desert View is their cleanliness. I've been in other nursing homes and as soon as you walk in there's a smell to them, but when I go to Desert View there's no smell. You can tell that the residents aren't just sitting around in their messes. They send me pictures of my mom engaged in activities, and playing games. It's expensive, but when shopping around I saw that other places had a base pay and they tack on extra costs for different care services. Here, I was able to get a base pay that's all inclusive. I would tell others that if you have a need to place someone, definitely meet with [name removed] he's great. That's if they even have availability because when I first met with [name removed] at Desert View they only had two rooms left. Whereas other communities had no availability. So just to find a place that was cheaper than the others with availability was a God-send!

Our oldest brother is a proud new resident of Desert View.. The facility and staff are 5 star. [name removed] in housekeeping is absolutely exceptional. She’s always happy to assist with any concerns and concerns and or questions we have.. checkout this community. They are the best!
