This is an over 55 independent living. They do have some activities. But they do not care for you or have food. They have had a few changes of management in the last year, but overall it is a nice place! The complex is very clean, the thing that concerns me was the staff turnover. (Management & front desk help) My mother-in-law seems to be happy there so I should probably say it's probably a 4+ I never give anything the top score available, due to there is nothing that is perfect for everyone! But it is a good place. It's in a great location, my mother-in-law loved walking to the library and to Kohl's. She does take their transportation to Walmart once a week.

We chose The Gardens at Creekside because of the affordability as well as they were still offering activities for seniors. The apartment sizes here are comparable compared to others we looked at. I think they are good at updating their facilities both the common areas and the apartments. When he moved in he had new carpet and appliances in his unit. I would definitely recommend them.

This review is all during COVID. I chose the gardens because they have a tax credit plan for people who have limited income. I feel like I got a really good deal. The apartment sizes are very nice, I cannot complain. The bedrooms are a little on the smaller side. but the appliances are new and the accommodations are good. The food they serve is ok, but it is pretty repetitive. I do have an issue with the lady above me, she is in a wheelchair and has a walker and it makes a ton of noise, so it has made me so miserable that my blood pressure has gone up and I had to get on medication.

I liked this facility. The apartments were nice sizes and the residents were in a facility activity. Only negative is that any extras over and above the apartment must be paid for extra.

Mom is still trying to settle in it's a big adjustment for her to go be in a house to an apartment. She is not used to noise so she is trying to adjust to that. The staff is wonderful very welcoming in fact after you have been there for while the welcoming committee comes around to greet you and get to know you. The community offers quite a bit of thing to do but mom is just not there yet. They are supposed to have a beautician on site however since mom has been there they have had issues with keeping one. It is a very friendly mobile environment meaning there are lots of residents in wheelchairs and walker so the property is handicapped friendly.

If you are on a budget and want a very nice facility, this is the place for you. A lot of activities and options for meals and outings. Very nice location and friendly helpful staff. No ground floor units had direct access to outside for dogs, but a short walk down the hall would suffice. Apartments were very nice. Will visit again.

My mother is doing well here at this community. The community is nice and clean. They have a good staff here. She is being cared for pretty well here. They offered nice activities and lovely meals. Overall she is doing fine here at this community.

We just moved our mother in and she seems to really like it so far. The apartments are a little small but it fits her needs. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to issues or questions.

good economical option

As a ex part time helper with my contracting friends and builders whom ever remodeled the building did not really do a great job trim work is bad, countertops should have rounded edges on them to prevent serious harm if fallen into, serious black dust in vents looks like smoke residue ,space is perfect, other then the vents cleaning was good, not a problem but would have been nice to have micro wave with it had to buy one, hope this helps like I said at the beginning a 3 overall as a average.

This was a very nice community with alot of activities and nice apartments. I did not like the meal plan they had.

Nice facility for independent living. If your loved one needs a little more attention but not quite assisted living, this may not be the site.

I love it here. Staff is very nice. If I ever a repair done , maintenance is right on it. Residents for the most part a very nice. Although the staff will have occasional luncheons..etc. holidays. 7- activities and lots of them. Best decision I have made is moving to Kings Gate.
