Parkcliffe

Our loved one never complained about the food, and we do know they played a lot of bingo. She loved playing bingo and she won all of the time. The community was close to us, and we could call and talk to her everyday. Over the holidays the opened up the community for a little bit so the residents could see their families.

They're very caring. They take good care of the residents. They have longevity there, some of the staff have been there a long time. The communication is very good. If there's something I need to know, they'll let me know. I like that it's close to home, and I feel lucky we got in there. They're very good. It's an older place - it's not a Taj Mahal. But it's clean. I wouldn't mind seeing new carpeting in the bedrooms.

I would recommend Parkcliffe to others. I really liked it. My wife was in memory care. The room sizes and the layout of the community were good. They had an outdoor space for residents. The staff was friendly, helpful and cordial

They are a very good community. My husband is comfortable and doing very good with their care. The staff are wonderful and handle anything that comes up with him. He has been participating in some activities that they have available.

Family atmosphere with stimulating activities, home cooked meals and comfortable furnishings. I visited my Grandmother over the weekend and I continue to be impressed with this facility. The staff member was peeling potatoes and a couple of the residents were talking with her as if they were helping cook dinner. It was great to see the interaction. My Grandmother tells me she likes her new home much better than her old one. Even though she lived in her old house for 50 years. That makes us feel wonderful that we chose to move her into Parkcliffe.

My mother-in-law has been there for about 6 weeks and we are so happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is phenomenal!

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far our experience has been an entirely positive one! I really liked how honest and forthright they seemed during the touring and evaluation progress, they really stressed that they wanted to make sure Parkcliffe would be a good place for my loved one before they moved him in. I also really like how much they've stayed in contact with us since he has moved in, they have regular meetings with us to keep us updated on how he is doing. The staff here just seem really genuine and honest, and you can tell they obviously really care about the people that they are taking care of.

I have been very impressed with everything at Parkcliff so far. I am a public Guardian and am often in search of good and affordable assisted living facilities for clients. Parkcliff is one of the best I've ever seen. The fact that a resident us reassessed every 6 months to determine the most appropriate house, insures that they will get the most appropriate care throughout their time at Parkcliff.

I really liked this community overall. They specialize in Dementia care, and I feel that the way they operate is the best way to do it. It's staged, they have different care levels that cater to the residents. This community has a more social feel with care than a hospital feel.

I am so grateful for Parkcliffe Community At Northwood and the peace of mind I have knowing my loved one is with caregivers who are familiar with Dementia and Alzheimers. I visited several nursing homes prior to Parkcliffe and always left feeling hopeless. From the time I first spoke to Chris to the move in day I knew this was the best possible option as my aunt could now live in her "normal" world when she could no longer live in my normal world. Safety is no longer a concern as there are clear signs pointing to direction of her room and she can not wander outside alone yet the home is large enough to provide plenty of walking or wandering space. The staff are friendly, always willing to answer questions as well as ask me what my opinion is. I am very pleased and would happily recommend Parkcliffe.

Well they seemed to be taking very good care of her there. They are excellent there. I give them a 5 for cleanliness.

When we were looking they seemed to be a very good value. Sometimes there are delays with doctor’s visits, but they are very good at communicating any serious concerns. There are activities and they get people to participate in. They have a strong commitment to residents and their continued care. I thought they seem very committed and the aides have all been there 10 + years.

Well, if I'm looking from the position of being a family type operation and cuddling up to the people there and working with them, I'm very happy with that. I think maybe they could have some more activities for them, they aren't doing much but they just came off their summer event which was a big pig roast and had several bands so I imagine a lot of effort went into that. They used to gather in this one building which they called their activities home and they had people that came in and sang with them and visited with them. There hasn't been too much of late, it's been a couple of months but then again it could be because of all of the energy they put into their summer events, they were very busy in that period of time.

Director was very helpful & made me feel comfortable. The homes were clean and the clients seemed well cared for. A visitor complimented Vicki on the care her mother is receiving. This is a very good option & the setting is homelike. I had my mom put on a waiting list.

My husband has been a resident at Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community for six weeks. It is the perfect place for him. The staff is caring and helpful and include me in their decisions on his care. It is a homelike setting with a kitchen, sitting areas, and private bedrooms. The staff accepts a resident where they are and work with them to keep them safe and comfortable. The person in charge of admissions is very thorough and helpful in answering any questions and making sure that the setting is appropriate for the individual. I feel very comfortable know that my husband is in this excellent facility.

We recently moved my father from another care facility and are totally wowed by the superior care he is receiving at Parkcliffe. The staff is EXCELLENT and they truly care about their patients. Its about people and you will not find a more dedicated staff than the caregivers at Parkcliffe We have been totally pleased from the registration process through the daily care my dad has been receiving. Thanks to the entire team at Parkcliffe you are magcial!

Our family is very pleased with Parkcliffe as Mom is adjusting to her new home. The staff is very helpful and communication with us is excellent. The concern for my Dad, brother, and me has been very good too as this has been quite an adjustment for us too. We feel at home when we visit mom. I am so glad that A Place for Mom recommended this care facility to us. It is such a relief to know Mom is well taken care of in her new home.

Park Cliff has been a God send. My Mom has taken to it very well. The staff and facility are really Special and the TLC abounds by ALL of the staff. Activities challenge and stimulate her and she partakes in all that this facility has to offer....A Great find...Tim Shew/son

Parkcliffe has been a gift for letting me be a daughter and not a full time caregiver. My mother's dementia diagnosis has proved more difficult to accept and manage than I ever expected. Difficult getting updates & communication at times.

They are friendly, but a little understaffed. The food is good. The facility could be kept cleaner. My mother in law seems to be satisfied there.
