Pacifica Senior Living

I have lived here for over 3 1/2 years. It has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. The Resident Services Director and the care staff are all friendly, reliable and extremely competent. The Food Services Director meets with the residents weekly to discuss the menu and any issues with the dining facility. The maintenance staff are prompt and knowledgeable. The activities staff provide a range of activities from live music weekly to games and puzzles. The Executive Director meets with the residents weekly to discuss any issues with the facility. The housekeeping staff gives my room an efficient and through cleaning weekly. While the building is relatively old the company appears to be committed to replacing equipment as it wears out. I received a brand new heating/air conditioning unit in my room when the old one wore out a few months ago. All in all if you're looking for a Senior Living Facility in southern California I don't think you could do better than here!

Thus far, our family is very happy that my brother is at Pacifica San Leandro. He is receiving excellent care. And we are getting the bang for the buck that we needed. One of the deciding factors for us was how conducive they are to family visiting often.

This facility was very accommodating with our needs when we moved in. Affordable and best value for our needs. Having our own house rather than a 'hotel' feel. Staff is great when it comes to service, even though getting adequate staffing in today's market is obviously difficult.

Everything seems to be going great at this facility overall. I would request a little bit more communication about things going on with my mom. I only get communication when I reach out to them, they don't reach out to me or update me otherwise. As far as the staff, everyone that I've dealt with here is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is done often, but the thoroughness doesn't seem great and could improve (ie: sticky floor). They have laundry service also and that's been really good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

This was a nice community and had a lovely smell. It was too far from family.

It is really a great place. The facility itself is gorgeous. The rooms are much larger than others that we looked at. The common areas are huge and there is plenty of room to congregate. They have a lot going on activities wise. The dining area for assisted living is like a restaurant. There is a beautiful bar area. They have a library, a bistro, indoor/outdoor courtyards etc. So much is offered. The staff have all been great. I would recommend Meridian at Stone Creek to others.

The entire staff made transitioning my dad into memory care so easy and comforting. He gets superb care and everyone is so understanding, loving, and helpful. So glad we chose Pacifica.

My alert and oriented Aunt fell and broke her hip while living alone. After 8 months in a SNF, she improved and needed to move to a lesser level of care. I went on a tour of 10 different Assisted Living facilities. Pacifica Senior Living in Escondido offered the most variety of programs, incredibly good food , and friendly staff. It is clean and updated. I am in the Medical Profession and able to look at a facility with a critical eye for details. They are not a SNF but have "Medical Techs " who can give the client medications as ordered by their doctor. My Aunt gets a shower 3 times per week. She orders her food off a daily menu inside the dining room with a beautiful Fire Place. They have an Outside Medical Company on-site one day per week to oversee my aunt's medical needs. No need to drive her to the doctor's office. Even the lab techs go to her room and draw her blood. Mobile X Rays also go to her room when needed. Sunday church on site. Laundry and housekeeping one day per week.

I have told several people and a friend came to visit [name removed] and told me she would definitely have her mom or dad stay there. They are very pleasant and awesome to work with.

[name removed] and their lovely team are amazing! They truly care for their residents. This beautiful community is very clean, organized, and a great environment for seniors. If you're looking for a great & safe place for your loved one, I highly recommend this community.

Staff are extremely nice and helpful. The facility is well kept and it seems to have a nice selection of activities added recently.

Bixby Knolls was a great experience for my loved one. They really liked it there and had great care. Unfortunately we had to move my loved one to another retirement home closer to my sister. My loved one was too far from her to help care for them. We had no issues whatsoever that I'm aware of during my loved one's stay. My loved one especially loved the food.

My loved one loves the food. They have a lot of activities, and offer a lot of options. We picked this community, because of the friendliness. They are so sweet. I really like the community. They have great staff, and it's a very welcoming environment. I would recommend the facility. They are good people.

The staff worked very hard to fulfill all of our requests. They take very good, personalized care of my mom. The décor is beautiful, especially in the common areas which they just redecorated. They could use some updating in the individual rooms, but I assume that would cost quite a bit of money. I think they do a great job.

Monte Vista Village is excellent. I would live there if I needed to. The staff were always so helpful and kind. The person I knew that lived there was very difficult, but the staff went above helping her in every way. Lots of activities and ways to interact if you want. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. Extra services provided, such as meditation, are affordable. 5 star all around.

The staff members are very efficient when taking care of the residents on the assisted living side - our loved one and the other residents are very well taken care of. They are so friendly and the entire community feels very welcoming and homey. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

We toured many assisted living properties for our Dad and we always ended up comparing everything to Pacifica Oceanside, which is why we were so happy they had an opening for our Dad. Every interaction we have had with Pacifica Oceanside has been great and they have made everything so easy. Our Dad is very happy living here and everyone has been so helpful getting him settled and in a routine. The staff definitely cares about the residents and makes it a point to get to know them. I highly recommend Pacifica Oceanside because it’s a beautiful property AND the people that run it are amazing!!

Wonderful facility and my mother loves living at Pacifica. The staff is excellent and cares for the residents like family.
