First, I want to point out that I did my research, toured and spoken with every assisted living and memory care facility in the Pinellas and Tampa Bay area. As well for 7 years working with ombudsman and the Florida State Department for Elder Care. So much so we were on a first name basis. Pacifica Senior Living of Belleair is it. Personal care and individual attention, medications, diet, hygiene, cleanliness of the facility as a whole, common areas and private rooms. The staff’s quality and quantity are always met. This could not be achieved without the truly loving and caring staff. [names removed] and every single person in every single department. From Med Tec’s, Nursing, Resident aids, Housekeeping, Cook, Maintenance, Activities, and in the Main Office. It truly takes every single person in every department to bring the best care for our loved ones and they achieve this. We can’t thank you all enough!!! [names removed]

I would heartily commend [name removed]'s housekeeping skills!! She is a treasure and is extremely thorough and kind. I am always so happy and grateful for her expertise.

Leaving home is difficult but all here are skilled staff and new accommodation. Food improves daily. Facility very nice, great for a new facility, like my room!

[Name removed] provided a phenomenal tour of this fabulous community to be. I'm very enthusiastic about all that they offer here. The Hollywood history is wonderful and the level of care being offered will be excellent for my mom. The layout and design and amazing features including the boutique feel to the salon and theater and dining room are fabulous. Thrilled to have discovered The Hollywood Hills.

Chef Rose! Happy Foods make Happy Residents! The chicken pot pies were excellent. The crab salad was excellent. The carrot & raisin salad was excellent. The celery soup was very good.

Living here for 3 years I've gotten to know most of the residents and all of the staff. Everyone is friendly and the staff is wonderful. Always there to help and lend a friendly hand or hug. This is an unique facility with separate living cottages that house 15 residents. We have become a close knit family dining together and sharing the big screen TV in the living room. Palm Springs is a great place to live and Pacifica is a wonderful place to call home.

I love living here at Pacifica. I've lived here for 3 years and it's just gotten better each year. I really enjoy the cottage atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else. It feels like family living and each of our cottages have a family room with a huge TV and fireplace. I have good friendships with my neighbors here and with the care givers.

First of all, the personnel of Pacifica at Palm Springs is so beyond the word excellent! The residents have many great things to do every day and with extra help to achieve the activity if needed. The biggest factor is you folks LISTEN to us. That is very important to us that are aging daily. Love you!

I had been looking for a nice place for my loving 80 year old cousin. I feel blessed to have found Pacifica Senior living. [Name removed] and [name removed] went out of their way to make [name removed] feel at home and to make the process smooth for me. [Name removed] had been in the hospital out of town and they both helped me deal w not only the paper work, they helped ease the emotional impact it had on both [name removed] and I. I am also thankful for the amazing staff they help get all the residence up and out to engage or take in the activities. I am there often something is always going on, live music either the residence making music or guest bands and singers. They keep it active and also clean, [name removed] loves the food. When I forget to bring him cookies [name removed] always finds extras in her office ") [Name removed] one of the nurses on staff has been wonderful always keeping me in the loop! Pacifica is a nice place for me to visit, the staff makes a difference.

The care my father received is wonderful. Caring and empathetic workers and staff are always in contact with me so he gets the best quality care.

My mom has been a resident of Pacifica for 4 1/2 years. Our family is very satisfied and grateful for the excellent care provided by all the staff (nurses, caregivers, dietary, maintenance, office, and activities departments). They are a dedicated "family" whose goal is to make your loved one feel like they are at home. They have provide us and my mom with a high level of professionalism, competence, compassion, and kindness during this painful and difficult struggle with dementia. The physical layout of the facility is unique in that there are cottages for different levels of care. The residents can move freely in and out of the cottages, enjoying the big porch with rockers and comfy benches or the pretty landscaped yard full of flowers, a gazebo, and birdhouses. The entire area is encircled with a locked fence for security. My mom loved to sit on the porch and watch the birds or check on the flowers. It offers the residents a feeling of freedom which is much different than other facilities i toured. They have a full daily calendar of activities and also do off-site "breakfast clubs" and trips to different events. The cottages are L shaped with the TV room, dining area, and kitchen centralized and two hallways of rooms branching off from there. Breakfast is cooked each morning in all the cottages according to the resident’s request. It’s similar to being at home - providing a choice and the aroma of good cooking. The staff knows each resident's needs (medical, physical, emotional, personal preferences, and comfort) and they strive to meet those needs. My mom had balance and mobility issues and Pacifica obtained an order for in house physical therapy. Her legs are edematous - they offered to place her in a recliner two hours a day to reduce swelling. We feel very blessed and relieved to know that our mom is being cared for at such a wonderful facility.

So happy we found Somerford Place. My mom loves it there and so do I. An amazing, caring staff
