Pacifica Senior Living: Sitting around after meals sharing stories and good humor. Gathering in the Gazebo to socialize with other residents. Enjoying drinks and snacks in the community center after a speaker, Yoga, or board games. Climbing on the Pacifica bus to tour Palm Springs, go shopping, or where you want to go. My mother has been in this Memory Care facility for 4 years. She will celebrate her 100 birthday this [date removed]. When I get depressed about her condition the one thing that cheers me up is that I know she is getting excellent care by a loving staff. I am grateful for her care by a staff that is educated in how to deal with memory loss redesients. The energy in this community is positive.

This is the best place for me. I love everything about it. I'm happy and content.

My family had a really hard time coming to term with moving my mom from her home. She still believed that she was able to care for herself, but she could not. We looked at many communities, what we like about Somerford Place of Northridge is the she does not have to be in the memory care with all the people that have really advance dementia. She still feels independent but we know that she is being helped when she needs help. She is loving all the interaction with others, that was something that she missed living at home alone. Also everyone sincerely cares. We are so happy that we found Somerford.

Somerford saves the day. My mom was at another facility that was horrible. We found a delightful change from where she was. There are plenty of activities and also outings to keep her occupied the entire day. The employees take such good care of her and manage her medications as the doctor prescribed them. Major improvement from the old place.

The staff is excellent with their job from [name removed] Sales Director to the staff at all the houses. The staff is very helpful with my mom during the transition to a new community. The staff has help my mom to adjust to her new surrounding.

Great neighborhood; friendly staff and residents, caring and helpful; many activities and road trips; easy access to churchouse, dining room, etc. nice walking trail; pets are welcomed and are known by name by staff and neighbors; great city - delicious meals. Also, affordable rates.

I am very pleased with the care my mother receives. The staff is very caring. Goes above and beyond. [Names removed] do an amazing job and are very knowledgeable and very willing to talk to family. Always showing encouragement to our family.

My loved one is in the memory care unit. We searched and searched until it just felt right and when toured for the first time we felt as if we were sitting down with family talking about choices for our mom. I come at varies times. I visit my loved one often. The place is very clean. The staff seem to be happy and care about their patients. I love coming to the family events that are held. Well-planned community. Rooms/apartments are very nice, staff is kind, compassionate, responsive. Very caring. We were 1,500 miles away from our loved one but always felt connected, thanks to outstanding staff. Highly recommend.
