My brother had a stroke in the Seattle area and we needed him to be close to us to assist him. Visited several recommend sites and felt the best about Van Mall. It provided him with freedom to walk and exercise, and later, use his car. He had difficulty keeping track of his medications and their procedures offered needed support. The meal plan was very accommodating (lactose intolerance) and provided him with a variety of options. Once he was able to return to his home area, checking out was very straight forward and the people he interacted with each wished him well.

Mom liked the atmosphere and the residents. Two thumbs up would recommend.

I love Van Mall retirement. Although the building is older, you wouldn't know it. The building and surrounding landscape is immaculately cared for. My dad loves the food and access to the gym. Our family has enjoyed the peace of mind of knowing our dad is well taken care of. Bonus, they are cheaper than other places in the area.

Great and helpful staff on all aspects from dining to admin and ever more the staff of nurses , and medical assistants. Thank You!!!!

We chose Van Mall because everyone was friendly, the facility was clean, food quality looked great as well as activities provided. The facility only provides limited assisted living services. Diabetes services are very limited

I highly recommend Evergreen Memory Care for your loved one. The floor staff, med-techs and activity director gave consistent care and personal attention to our brother’s needs. They took time to relate to him and understand who he was. Administrators worked with us to create a living environment that our brother could cope with. Evergreen patiently helped us understand how to navigate the new world of dementia for a loved one. It takes time to trust that a care facility will do the best thing for your family member. Evergreen is worthy of that level of trust.

It was within walking distance from my house.The food was terrible, the activities non existent and the cost was too high for the product.

I walked into woodside for valentine's Day the tables were set with cloth heart shaped napkins and roses were placed at every place setting. The meal was amazing steak, shrimp with grits and for dessert we had strawberries dipped in chocolate with cheesecake. There was a gentlemen playing the piano. All the managers were helping pass out the meal. Everyone had a great time and I can't wait for the next event.

Move in process was well organized and they were helpful. Meals are of good quality, they always have a turf and surf option. ALFs aren't cheap, but they offer a lot for the dollar and are competitive in price. Overall, it's been a great experience.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Cottages Senior Living and everything has been great. I would and have recommended this facility to others.

So far we are very happy with Evergreen and the staff. If we have concerns they respond quickly and are very happy to help address any situation we have had.

We chose Timber Pointe because of the friendliness and the food, which is the best of all the places we have tried. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly to the residents. I would highly recommend.

Clean/friendly and every resident was happy and talking with us. The residents are a real community there. Food quality is low. People are outstanding. Mom is happy. She likes it there. Thank you for the assist!

We were able to have an in person tour at Van Mall and we thought the experience experience was great. The staff we met with were friendly and the community was extremely neat and clean.

Majority time was in memory care which is (partly due to Covid) akin to having the residents in a jail dorm. Not impressed with day to day interaction with staff for our parents. Would NOT recommend to anyone based on our experience. Hygiene materials were not resupplied as needed including toothpaste, shampoo, and towels. We were asked to supply these ourselves which, based on monthly costs seemed unreasonable tonus. The assisted care section is very nice with library and rec rooms and barbeque patios. But still would never recommend

This review is for the cottages (independent living) they get all 5 stars! The club house for the cottages has a great chef (unfortunately retiring in 2024), several activities offered and [name removed] the activity director is well loved. They have happy hour once a week in the clubhouse and go to local restaurants, parks, rose/rhododendron gardens, etc. The cottage sizes are excellent! They have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a one car garage. They also have a full kitchen but it is smaller.

Mom is very very happy and has not looked back. She was able to participate in activities the first day she was there and the staff made sure to seat her with others at meal times!

TimberPointe offers LOTS of activities & trips to various festivals, shopping trips & other outings, Wi completions w/ other assisted living facilities various card games, exercise & yoga, Jewish & non-denominational church. There is baking club, garden club, puzzles & more. They have a resident council monthly & they have resident ambassadors that help expose new residents to various activities & meeting other residents. I moved my Mom there from Arizona sort of kicking & screaming & after 3 weeks she thought it was great & was active in numerous things & encouraged others.
