We had to ask lot of questions in order to get information on schedules, medications, meal times, etc. If we didn't ask, we didn't know. There was a mix up on source of medications and we ended up having to pay a bill we should not have had to. I was frustrated with the administration. The facility was nice and most of the staff were helpful.

My loved one was previously a resident at Crossroads at Lakewood Memory Care. The move in process was very smooth. The housekeeping was exceptional. The meals always looked very delicious. The staff was very conscientious and friendly. We enjoyed them all. I would highly recommend Crossroads at Lakewood Memory Care to family and friends!

Our Mom was at this facility for a few months sadly at the time the facility had NO professionally licensed medical staff or skilled nursing as promised by brochure and Director in the beginning. Needless to say after a very scary medication error , we were informed by a State of Colorado employee the Qmap had been crushing her meds, with a No Crush order from her doctor, which could have been fatal due it being a time released heart medication, at that point we were recommended by our Moms doctor we move her to skilled nursing facility which we did. I will say there was several genuine wonderful caregivers and other personnel at this facility which i miss, but sadly they were not treated well or praised by management as they should have been.

0 would be a better response. Food was repeatedly left unopened or otherwise inaccessible, resulting in my wife being unable to eat without assistance. Staff did not consistently provide the assistance necessary to ensure she received adequate nutrition and hydration. My wife appeared to experience dehydration and a noticeable decline in her physical condition during her stay. Her prescribed antidepressant medication was not administered consistently, leading to concerns about withdrawal symptoms, behavioral changes, and unnecessary emotional distress. My wife was frequently left isolated in her room with blinds closed and lights off, with little meaningful interaction or supervision. Staffing appeared inadequate to meet residents’ basic needs, including monitoring, assistance with meals, hydration, and general care. Overall, the quality of care fell well below what we were led to expect and what vulnerable residents with dementia require.

The staff who work here are incredibly immature and should not even be in charge of taking care of a cactus! I have seen far too many errors take place and medicine go "missing". I also feel that the food is not good or worth the cost of this place.

This experience left me with very strong concerns about the welfare of those who reside in this community. There are too many caretakers who demonstrated a clear lack of empathy. I have seen them yell at residents and refuse to help them, and they certainly have had a fair share of those who have had medicine go missing... Also, the food is just awful. I can't believe that they would charge so much money to have someone stay there just to serve them something that would be disgraceful in the most wretched of any cafeteria in the entire country. I find this place and those in it to be absolutely appalling.

If you care about your family and friends, I would strongly suggest you NOT put them in Northglenn Crossroads. We moved my mother into Crossroads in [date removed]. The reason for the move, she had dementia and was not able to remember to take her medicine and also she wouldn’t eat. At first Crossroads appeared to be doing well. Then my mother reported to us that a man was sleeping on her floor in the middle of the night, someone was shaving and using her mouthwash one morning, people stealing her pop and candy. She reported this to the head people at Crossroads as did we. They didn’t believe her or us. We then put a video camera in her room and observed and discovered she was not receiving her medication. We noticed excessive bruising on her arms and hands which they could not explain. We immediately moved her out of Crossroads.
