My loved one was previously a resident at Legacy Assisted Living and Legacy Alzheimer's. The experience was mostly great. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff and care services were also great. The meals need improvement. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

My loved one is no longer here. It's a great place, that has nice and friendly people.

The facility is always clean and no unpleasant smells. Everyone is friendly. The food seems good and well presented etc.

My mother does not require a lot of "hands on" care at present. I don't have enough knowledge of what alternative offerings might be when it comes to the activities. The value for cost seems high but apparently in-line with other facilities in this area. However we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

As soon as I walked in the entrance there was always a hello from a staff member, and a smile. The residents seemed content. That says alot about how they are treated by all members of the community. I have to give an A+ for the nurses, techs and aides. What caring individuals they are!!

It has been a wonderful experience. My mom came in for a respite care with many health issues. Their staff was so loving to her- all the nurses, front desk, and rehab staff. She was in a wheel chair and depressed, blessed to say she is going home soon walking. Thanks to them!

Very nice place with caring people. We picked this community because of the price, and it was close to home. I would recommend to other families.

The caregivers at this community are attentive and encourage mom to participate in some of the daily activities. Mom is doing good and they keep the community clean. She is in a locked down unit. This community is a good price for the care she is receiving. I would recommend this community.

I know my mother is good hands here at this facility. They are caring for her and her needs very well. My mother is doing very well. It is a very well maintained community. They do a very good job with keeping her room and the facility very nice and clean. The staff is excellent. They offer great activities, she enjoys bingo. She is pleased with the food. Overall I'am comfortable with the care they are providing her with.

There has been a urine smell a couple of times but they were quick to take care of it. The staff is wonderful for the most part. There was one person that was pulled from another area and was complaining of working there. The food looks and smells wonderful. I think that for the price it is a good value.

They are queuing him for breakfast lunch and dinner. I wish they would cue him to get up and go for walks. I am working on that within myself. The staff is incredibly friendly.

It's extremely clean and the staff is friendly and attentive to the residents. I would highly recommend Spring Arbor.

Family has to be a very active role in their loved ones care there. When I moved my aunt there, she was already under the care of Elara Hospice. The facility apparently has another Hospice that they have historically worked closely with. It was clear to me, very quickly that the facility was 'resistant' to Elara being the gatekeeper for my aunts medical care. Almost a butting of heads between the two, which sometimes impeded quality and timely care of my aunt. Even care coordination meetings didn't help the situation. It was very frustrating for both my Aunt and myself. I found myself more focused on troubleshooting with the two entities, than being able to appreciate the little time I had left with my Aunt (she passed away 10/01).

The staff was very accommodating to my parents needs. My dad was receiving total care for his dementia, but my mom was receiving none. The staff still helped her as needed. She was getting chemo every 2 weeks and the staff knew when she would have bad days and needed care. My mom passed before my dad, which was unexpected. My dad was then moved to the dementia wing and they took very good care of him. There was only one aide that my dad had issues with, and she didn't last long there. The mgmt staff was excellent.

My parents were there on a respite stay. So it was nice to not have to bring furniture. I think the services were different for respite stay versus permanent stay.

Apartment size, activities, food and cleanliness are all sufficient and acceptable. Staff care especially during the overnight hours is a little lacking.

Price range fit our budget. Pleasant people and employees. They're so helpful to my brother and me in navigating new surroundings. They worked with our financial limitation as when we could pay them (which is not the beginning of the month when they typically want it). Residents often complain about the food. In speaking with several residents, the older senior population doesn't feel empowered to stand up for themselves and speak up, sadly enough."
