The best TEAM in the senior living industry!

I just want to send out how amazing the service was for lunch. The menu selection looked great and the Chicken Parmesan that I ate was out of this world! {Name removed] the server did an amazing job serving. Chef's came out to talk to me and topped it off with a fresh slice of homemade strawberry cake that Chef [name removed] made from scratch. I am very interested in moving here and can't wait to try out more meals!

We toured other facilities and Legacy Living was by far the cleanest and most organized. They have lots of activities offered for the residents such as golfing and they have a movie theater. The food was great, they were chef prepared meals and you could order off of the menu or there were things readily available such as hamburgers and hotdogs. I did learn that they are medicaid certified. I would highly recommend them to others looking.

We chose Legacy Living of Jasper because it is like living in an apartment with all of the freedom you get. The room sizes here are great and perfect sized for our loved one. They also have choices on room sizes as well depending on your needs. I have eaten here and the food is great, it is restaurant quality. My favorite part about the community has been the community itself, everyone is lively and upbeat. I would recommend.

I’m grateful that my mother feels safe there, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing that she’s well cared for. Whenever we’ve had concerns, the staff has listened and addressed them promptly. It’s clear they put effort into supporting their staff, and I believe that positively impacts the care the residents receive. One area that could use improvement is the activities programming. The entertainment and activities should better reflect the generation of the residents who live there. For example, when I suggested showing The Carol Burnett Show, the staff member I spoke with didn’t recognize who she was. Residents would likely connect much more with shows like Hee Haw, The Carol Burnett Show, Marcus Welby, M.D., and similar classics from their era rather than newer movies that may not resonate with them. Programming that reflects their time and interests would help them feel more engaged and understood.

In case you are not aware, my father passed away at the end of last year. The staff there, together with Heart-to-Heart Hospice was amazing in the final days. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families!

When you spent [fee removed] a month you would think you could get residency wi-fi. But no you can be watching programs on wi-fi. And it becomes overloaded and quits! You can switch to spectrum but it is not as good as watching Hulu, roku and paramount+. That problem is enough to want a different place. The trouble it been like this since Bach In construction. I believe 5 years is enough time to get it repaired !!!

The caregivers at Legacy Living of Florence are amazing. They help in all area such as dining, trash pick up, laundry and everything in-between. We would absolutely recommend them to other families!! I recommended Legacy to many who have already moved in.

The caregivers are kind and good to the residents. The director of the caregiver team is good with the any changes in medication and making sure the new protocol is in place. The directors pitch in to help wherever needed, even busing tables! Clean environment with happy employees.

My loved one is currently a resident at Legacy Living of Florence and overall the experience has been very good. The staff and the food are both great. As for the cleanliness, we requested bimonthly cleaning but housekeeping has only been there twice. My loved one does like her townhouse.

My loved one has been there about a year now, and she has adjusted well. I strongly recommend Legacy Living.

Place is very nice and meets requirements of individuals. Only issue is pricing becomes a moving target very quickly. Started at [Amount Removed] per month and within 5 months was pushing close to [Amount Removed] per month. Misunderstanding could have been in my part but things were said to be covered but were not. Example: showering. Said it was covered but was only covered to prompt them to shower, if assistance was needed that was another charge and different levels of assistance required additional cost . Same thing for every daily item - Brushing teeth, dressing, meals, etc. Need to more open about cost as this is very difficult time for families and they need to understand all the underlying cost up front. What was deemed affordable up front quickly turns into high cost when you feel you are not asking for anything more than what was promised in the beginning.

While the staff are very nice people, I feel they oversell the amount of service they can realistically provide. I say this based on the high number of residents to the low number of caregivers. The community does offer nice amenities and activities, excellent food and dining facilities, and a clean and beautiful environment. However, if your loved one needs a medium to high level of care this might not be the best choice.
