Loved the size of the facility

Our family had an in person tour and it was nice but they had added on some new sections to the old section and we were not all that happy with the way it was done, it was very long walk ways to get from the different sections. So those with walkers it wouldn't be convenient. Also it just did not smell as fresh

The main complaint is our loved one is not capable of having a cell phone so it is hard to get in touch. The staff are hard to get a hold of, so communication is something that needs improvement.

I found Tapestry House to be dark and depressing, it was not the right fit for my friend.

The salesperson was wonderful. He shared everything I asked. The program sounds excellent. However I smelled a variety of scents I think because it’s an old building of former nursing home. My nose is sensitive and that bothered me.

Tapestry House went through a staff change. The original staff who worked there was very friendly, but once they when through the change the new staff group was not not very friendly. Care services weren't very consistent. The rooms were very nice, the layout of the community was very good. It is a smaller community which we liked and we new my mom would be very comfortable here.

They did a good job keeping the resident rooms clean. In the beginning, the staff was more experienced and friendly. Over time, they seemed to have some turnover and the new staff wasn't quite as experienced or friendly. Same goes for the care, at first it was good, then towards the end, they ended up forgetting my mother's medication one day. As far as I know, the food was good and there were plenty of activities. One time I took my mom and they were all going on a field trip, which my mother enjoyed.

[Removed] was very Informative...and experienced with Memory care issues and the Rehab Mom is currently located. Answered ALL my questions with a smile and called my next appointment to let them know I was running late with the Tornado Drill that caused everyone to run behind.

The Director invited me to lunch. The place is nice, but no extras that I noticed. She did talk about how to get Daddy involved in activities, to tell him to get ready instead of giving him a choice whether or not to participate in a chosen activity. I liked her attitude, to just encourage him to be involved. He is a hermit now, he needs activities. Just like all homes, there is a smaller percentage of men in comparison to women. They die off sooner than us I guess. They have a support group that I am going to next week. I like this home, no frills, an average price, not too high.

The smell turned me off immediately. They seemed to have good activities for the residents.

The facility is ok, it's quiet and not gloomy. Housekeeping is weekly and I think they do a good job. Communication with the family is good. The food is good, good quality and variety. They really seem to be understaffed and unable to provide what they said they could. . They definitely could improve not only the amount of staff, but the quality of their training and skills. Some do great, others are just there just to be there. I would not recommend them to friends and family.

Extreme staff turnover, lack of trained caregivers, poor caregiver bedside manner and work ethic. Ineffective leadership. I would not recommend anyone send their loved one to Tapestry. It's unsafe.

Tapestry House is horrible! My dad lived there for one month and we moved him. There is a lack of professionalism and the staff is not properly trained. The med carts are unorganized and meds are misplaced. The facility is dirty and the laundry is a chaotic mess. The call buttons are never answered and it is literally impossible to reach anyone who works there by phone. My advice is to run as fast as you can AWAY from Tapestry House.

No No No! The place actually smelled bad. If the woman giving the tour, Sandy, hadn't been so sweet, we'd have turned around and walked out.
