5 on all. What I like the most about the community is the food and the cleanliness. Yes, I would recommend Park Terrace Senior Living by Cogir to other families based on the experience so far.

Ativo is a great place, dad has been there for almost 2 years now, the entire staff is wonderful and they take great care of him. I've had zero complaints in the year and a half my Dad has been there.

A Place for Mom has scored Insight Senior Living with 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score based on 12 reviews in the last 2 years. Over all time, Insight Senior Living has 73 reviews with an average "overall experience" of 4.5 out of 5.
In a way it's too early to tell, mom just moved in last week. Place seemed nice and clean, lots of activities available, but no time yet to check them out. Grounds are nice, location in excellent. Errors on billing, corrected right away, but expect them to get it right first time (communication? deposit was made, not credited; move in date wrong). Meals good.

Our overall experience with Ativo at the moment is rated a 3 because of the current management. Ativo suits her lifestyle, and she can come and go anytime. The activity coordinator, [name removed], was at both facilities and the catalyst for the move. [name removed] is outstanding. However, the management is horrible.

The food there is very low quality. and they made some promises they didn't keep. I would recommend this community to others.

I thought this facility was just average. The rent includes things like the heating and cooling, housekeeping, three meals a day, and laundry services. They seemed like they had a lot of things going on to keep busy with a lot of activities, exercise classes, and transportation around town. One thing that I like is they have a dental and ear clinic on site. They also have a little gardening area to work in if you wanted it. I would recommend this facility.

On dealing with charging clients when they're hospitalized, we ended up paying two months rent for an empty room. So there was no deduction in the rates for her not being there and using the services; it was full priced and that's not okay.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Father-In-Law. I only had contact with the marketing director and I noticed there was a lack of a welcoming feeling. It was a nice community but it was too expensive for smaller rooms. It looked really good from the outside but it didn’t feel homey. The person who gave me the tour was knowledgeable and friendly enough. I feel like she didn’t really try to go out of her way to sell the facility to me. I would recommend other families to take a look at this community.

My mom has been living at Yuma Ativo for almost 2 years. It has gone downhill in that time. The front-facing employees that interact with the residents are generally quite lovely. Although the place does feel understaffed .The facility looks beautiful. Trying to get a hold of anybody that is in charge is pretty much a joke unless you mean to be a new resident. There's rarely anybody behind the front desk. And the food has gotten just terrible. As an example, when I went to eat with my mom the other day they had scalloped potatoes which were raw. Not ones that had been warmed up and gotten cold. No, they were absolutely raw. Word is that the management type employees that work there will not eat the food that's there. This is a big deal because when you're in assisted living meal times are unfortunately a very important part of the day.

The facility itself is incredible. My step-dad has been there for several years. They are falsely advertising as a 55+ facility. They have college students living in the facility and also have additional college students eating in their dining room. My 97 year old step dad just ended up in the hospital with COVID. They had very few issues during the epidemic, but today have a number of residents quarantined due to COVID. This was an incredible facility that has continuously downgraded the food while raising food prices. They have resorted to underhandedly adding teens to their residency and food service. This is a very dangerous move for a facility that has residents in their late 60's to 90's.

The experience I encountered when my Mother was here is that there is NOT enough help. The one simple task I asked for was to take Mom to play bingo , apparently that was to much trouble. I have more complaints but will close by saying I can NOT recommend this facility.

Ativo Senior Living of Yuma is a newer facility and everything looked very high end. It was clean and beautiful but it just did not feel homey or comfortable at all. The price was also outrageous and the room sizes were very small.

This is way out in Hillsboro. They have one side for independent, and the other for assisted. 2 dining rooms at differing times. outside company contracted for extra care on the independent side. VERY EXPENSIVE. The rooms looked like hospital rooms.
