The staff at Ralston Creek was constantly cleaning the community. Rooms and hallways were always clean and everything was always in its place. The whole community was kept up very nicely and was free of any smell. The staff did an excellent job in caring for dad. As he progressed in age, he needed higher levels of care and they were very willing to provide everything and anything he needed. At times, he would require extra help transferring and all he had to do was ask and the CNAs would quickly assist. They always showed great compassion towards my dad and the other residents. Dad always had his alert button with him and if he ever needed assistance, the staff was always quick to respond and help. He was never without care for very long. Activities were great, however dad often chose not to participate. We often saw activities taking place when we visited.

The staff are amazing here! I moved my mom in and thought she would have problems adjusting but not at this fine place! They treat you like family and always are there for you! It has a beauty salon and a movie theater to boot! The food is so good too! My mom and her family are very happy and pleased!

This is a wonderful place for my mother. She has late stage dementia. They take really good care of her. The staff is friendly and caring. The food is good, the apartments are nice and the overall feeling of the facility is calm and peaceful. I especially like that the faculty has security codes to get in and out. I highly recommend Sommerset.

My Mom was resistant at first about this move into Ralston Creek Neighborhood, but now she could not be happier. She enjoys the activities, the food, and is very complimentary of the staff.

I toured this community and it was outstanding, The place looked clean and nice. The staff was helpful and answered all my questions. If they would have taken medicaid we would've put grandma here. The price just was to high for us. We had to chose another community.

The care from this community is very good. We like knowing that she is in a clean community with good care. The menu is good and she likes the nice variety of meals. I like knowing that she is active with a lot of the activities. My mom really likes the size of her room and that makes us comfortable to know that she is happy here. We would recommend this community for the wonderful care and benefits of care.

Ten things I like about Somerset: 1. The people who work there are very friendly, with positive attitudes. 2. They have safe rooms inside the building, in case of a tornado. 3. They serve breakfast, lunch, and supper, in areas that are not too far to walk, but far enough away that you know you will get some exercise walking to and from your dining room. 4. They have at least two choices for your daily meals. The food is served to you at your table. 5. They use a nearby drug store to order your prescriptions. You will be charged for your medications, but they don't charge an extra fee to give you your medications. 6. Friends and family members can eat with you for a VERY reasonable price! 7. The settings are beautiful and well-taken care of both inside and outside of the building. 8. They have lots of activities and great entertainment on the premises, church on Sundays, plus special activities throughout the year. For example, they had a mini-fair in the fall with funnel cakes and cotton candy. Plus, they host a carnival for the grandchildren and great grandchildren of the residents at Halloween. 9. They have both one and two-room apartments with lots of storage space and even windows to look outside. 10. They do your laundry and housekeeping for you, too!

Everything is going great for my father since his move into this community. [Removed], the activities director is wonderful, she keeps him busy. She gives him current events and a variety of activities. The food is excellent, the food director [Removed] mixes it up. On Wednesdays, they have street tacos, Mongolian bbq or the pasta bar, and they had a Memorial Day barbecue. They have movies twice a week and they remind the residents daily of activities My father was not as social at home and now is never in his room. He goes out and watches TV in common area and chats with other residents. The only complaint is that they do not have enough resources on weekends. Also, housekeeping could use some improvement, they went a week without getting my father's laundry, but they are working on it.

Initially, I liked how attentive & communicative the upper management was in welcoming us/my mother to their community. Since then, they've continued to keep us informed of my mother's well-being and her overall service plan. They've also responded to emails or text messages timely which is HUGE to me. Ghosting customers when it comes to the well-being of their loved ones is a terrible look for a company tasked with taking care of the elderly who suffer from dementia. This is what occurred with her last memory care center.

We chose Sommerset Neighborhood because we had references from other church families who had a good experience here. It is a southside facility so it is just very friendly, they do not try to be fancy and it is more of a homey atmosphere. My mom absolutely loves the food that they serve. There is a chef that prepares the meals on site and the residents get a menu to choose from. My mom is happy and I would recommend the facility.

They do different activities with our loved one everyday, they play bowling and whack the ball around sometimes. It was a really good first impression

We chose Ralston Creek because we were moving him during covid and it was one of the places we saw and liked and we had good reviews from someone who had their parent here. I do not think that the staff interact with the residents as much as they should. The facility is very nice but I am struggling with the activities as they are not good for residents with memory care issues. I would recommend depending on where the person is at in their disease.

This place was a close 2nd. It had a lot to offer for my parents. Everyone was friendly. I will be scheduling another tour with my niece next week.

The facility was fresh and clean and had a friendly feeling. Employees greeted and spoke with residents. Memory care wing was well laid out; rooms were adequate. I would give this facility consideration when decision making time arrives.

We toured this community. It is a nice fancy community. The staff were nice and were able to answer the question we had on the care. They appeared to have a nice dining area and the community was clean and maintained. We would recommend this community to other families for care for a loved one.

I thought they did a nice job overall at Sommerset Assisted living. The facility itself was well kept and clean, and the staff in the assisted living portion were friendly and professional.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice looking community, and it looked like they took great care of their residents! It definitely looked like it would have worked out carewise, and from what we heard it has a great reputation. It didn't have quite the same homey feel as the community we ended up selecting, but still seemed like a great place!
