They are exceptional! All of them are angels. They care for my 96 year old Dad in Saugus, Ma. They go the extra step. So grateful. The family all lives out of state and we don't know what we would do with them. My Dad agrees. [name removed]

We're very happy with how things turned out with Guardian Angel! Every caregiver they sent was nothing but friendly and professional, and we never had any issues with scheduling or cancellations.

They were great! They were reliable, and we didn't have any issues with them. I will probably use them again if the need comes up.

The experience and care has been excellent from this agency. My mom really likes the 2 caregivers she chose. They are very friendly and very responsive. The caregiver and mom do exercises that the physical therapist has asked. They are ready to help and leave the home after they are done. It is nice to have a piece of mind when my mom is getting high quality care.

We chose Guardian Angel Senior Services because of the value for the money as well as the locality. It is a family owned business as well and we wanted something that wasn't a big corporate operation. We did have a couple times where the caregivers did not show up, but for the most part everything was good.

They help my mother in law with transportation and with cleaning. They have made my mother in law very comfortable and has enjoyed most of the staff that has come out. They do however, have a large amount of turnover which makes it difficult for her to build rapport with any of the staff. There have been a few occasions that they did not arrive as scheduled.

The management was transferred to another location and once this happened the staff would be late or not arrive at all. Often I would get a phone call late at night, that there wouldn't be a caregiver the next day. This was up to me to call and let the other resident staff know. The phone call wasn't referred to anyone, after I called the emergency number for the company until the following day. I was very disappointed and this created a lot more stress for me than I was expecting. I was constantly calling to make sure I wasn't being billed for those dates the caregivers didn't show. There was no communication between the caregivers. I was told I had to provide the caregivers a notebook to communicate with each other. The details in the notebook weren't detailed at all. They aren't worth the money, I had to request changes to the bill, and it was hard to read the bills. There were different rates for the shift differentials and these didn't make sense. It made it harder to read and understand the bills.

The initial visit by case manager with client goes very well. Sadly, the shortage of professional caregivers, and schedulers who make bad choices when matching the caregiver and client. can create alot of stress between client, caregiver and the families of the client. Would not recommend Guardian Angel Senior Services. They are out to make money for themselves.

The services that they have provided my father-in-law have been less than satisfactory which is putting it nicely. The workers that come into the home have been very nice for the most part but when someone calls out, there is nobody to come in to substitute for them. Working in the health care field, I find that completely unacceptable. My father-in-law is a 74 year old veteran that can barely fend for himself. It is very concerning when I find out that his PCA has not shown up for his or her shift and he is still laying in bed, not having any breakfast or lunch and has not had anyone there to cue him for his AM or 12:00 meds. He is a diabetic and it is very important for him to eat and keep a well balanced diet, never mind his other health concerns that are semi controlled with his medications. With that being said, this past week has been the worst of it all with complete neglect and lack of care from this company with no concern for his well being. Unfortunately due to this company being the recommendation from his VA hospital, this is what was we thought would be safe and financially responsible for him but has turned out to be a weakness. I would never recommend this company to anyone who is looking for help for a loved one. Please look for other options. I wish we did!
