What I like the most about this community is the happy hours they have for us residents living here.

Overall I think The Landing at Alexandria is a good place. It's a great environment. They serve great food. There is lots to do there. Would like better nursing care.

My mother was transferred to Legacy Point to receive skilled nursing care. She was unable to walk when she arrived and was a larger person. The facility did not have available a wheelchair that would fit her or a sling that was big enough for her. She was at the facility for over a week before those items were finally obtained. She was in the facility for almost two weeks before we moved her to another facility. The facility had difficulty in managing her medications and in providing care when needed to the bedside. Her face was not washed unless it was requested. The facility is beautiful and does have an excellent assistant director of nursing and social services person. Unfortunately, we experienced a lack of direction and supervision of the night staff which was not a good situation for my mother who needed a lot of care. If your loved one only needs nursing care and it is not a complex case, then this facility is a good choice. Otherwise it would be best to find another place.

I would recommend it. It was newer and modern.
