Green Haven Assisted Living

This place is Phenomenal. My aunt is a client at this facility and they take great care of her. I have a solid relationship with [name removed], mainly because of her genuine care for her clients. The staff is friendly and kind. My aunt likes it there. I would recommend Green Haven for anyone looking for a good and caring place for their loved ones.

They have done a wonderful job with my mother. They are caring, there is not a time that I have gone over there that it has not been clean and fresh. One of the things that I like about it is the fact that it always smells good. They prepare the meals right there. They are very concerned about appointments. They make sure that they have all the paperwork submitted and I really have enjoyed working with them. They have had a job on their hands dealing with my mom but they've kept her comfortable and the rooms are always immaculate.

When I went to visit the BT house (approx. end of [date removed]) I was told the house did not have any clients at that time. Therefore, I visited GH house II on Presswick Lane. The house was very clean. However, due to other factors I regret ever placing my family member in that facility and moved them as quickly as I could. They are now thriving in another assisted living facility. At the Presswick Lane house II the costs to you: [removed]$ administrative fee (non- refundable), [removed]$ monthly which can be increased after 30 days (ours was increased from [removed] to [removed]), and costs of supplies (gloves, wipes, bed pads, diapers, personal items..).

One star because it’s clean. Terrible time working with the manager. Before move-in, the manager and her nurse assessed my sister at the highest level of care, however after 30 days she increased the fee by $700 because she said my sister was more work than she thought. When questioned, she said pay the additional $700 or move her out. Leaving meant losing the $4,000 non-refundable admin fee. I brought my sister a bag of candy. She is not on a restricted diet however the manager told me she would keep the candy and decide when and how much my sister could have. Visitation rules changed frequently. Although we’d call before a visit, we’d sometimes wait 15-20 minutes before we could see her. Seemed like the manager was trying to discourage visits. I observed no activities for the residents except tv watching. The manager has a temper. In my opinion there is a lack of kindness and respect for therapists, residents and family. My sister wasn’t thriving. Doing much better since she left.
