It is such a nice "community". Everyone is friendly and helpful. I'm so glad I decided on the Atrium.

The Blake is a wonderful community. The staff goes above and beyond to help both residents and guests. There is a great atmosphere and always something fun going on! Whether it's a day trio, yoga, or a party, there is always something to do! Beautiful building with great outdoor features like patios.

When loved ones are not able to live on their own anymore it can be an overwhelming situation for the entire family. We did not know where to turn- making the right choices concerning someone else's independence is not easy. I was extremely pleased with the amount of care, compassion, and thoughtfulness that was given to us during our tour at Town Village. We toured with Sandy and she was a DELIGHT! As we walked through the doors nervously, she put us at ease and made us comfortable right away. She talked about her own grandparents with joy and I knew she meant every word. She greeted everyone we walked past by name and they all smiled. You can tell she loves what she does here. The facility was clean and everyone was friendly. I was really impressed with the number of community activities they offered! Those that lived there seemed very happy. The rooms were clean and bright. The staff was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend Town Village!

Our father has lived at Elmcroft since November of 2017. We are very happy with his care and he loves his 1 bedroom apartment. He needs help with his day-to-day activities, and they are there to help him. We visit often and the facility is always clean and inviting. The med-techs are familiar with his needs and make sure both his prescription and non-prescription medications are given promptly. The activities are sufficient and their Lifestyles Director is constantly urging everyone to attend. The directors often join their residents in the dining room to check up on them (our father loves watching them serve coffee!). In the span of a few months he had 3 minor surgeries, each requiring time consuming post-surgery care needs. Each recovery was handled very well. Elmcroft does a great job of helping coordinate his health care needs (nurse practitioner, podiatrist, home heath care, etc). Finding a home for an aging parent that needs help with numerous activities of daily living is stressful and fraught with disappointments. We think we hit the jackpot!

My mom has been living here for 4 months and we all love it. Elmcroft is a beautiful balance of professional and family-like. I am welcome anytime. My mom loves the staff and most every resident she has met and visited with. Mom loves the activities like: music, art, bingo, and Bible Studies. All are optional and we encourage her to try new activities. The staff is friendly and attentive. Her doctor comes to her. My personal favorite is how many smiling residents are out of their rooms enjoying the common areas.

My Father lived at Sedgwick Plaza from mid-June, 2018 through mid-July, 2019 in independent living. His sister, who is now 98, also lives there. He loved everything about it, especially meal time when he got to spend time with friends he'd made and people he'd gotten to know and enjoy the excellent and wide variety of foods served at every meal. The residents, as well as the entire staff were friendly, caring and watchful of each other. When I visited him, someone, either another resident or a staff member, would tell me if he'd varied his routine at all, perhaps missing a meal or a change in sleep pattern. Everyone working there communicated these things, even the warm, caring lady who cleaned his room would stop me and tell if she'd seen something "different" in his behavior or demeanor. The couple of times we had to have something fixed in the room (light flickering and I purchased and asked them to put more non-skids on the shower floor), they fixed it the same day or within 24 hours. I visited him anywhere from 4 to 8 times a week, and looked forward to my visits because of the warm and welcoming staff, residents, and overall atmosphere. I also attended several events with him as they welcomed family visitors to every event. My Dad rarely left the facility, but his sister frequently took their scheduled trips to Dillons and/or Wal-Mart. He always remarked "If I can't be at home, I want to be here." He even loved the woman who cut his hair on Fridays, every four weeks. We were planning a move to the Assisted Living portion in November, but he passed away somewhat unexpectedly. I've toured other facilities, and nothing compared to the warmth and hospitableness of Sedgwick Plaza. I am so grateful we chose this place as his final place of residence the last 13 months of his life.

Everyone is so nice and ready to lend a helping hand. Only issue we’ve ran into was missing clothing after be washed. Other than that we’re very happy.

My mom picked a one bedroom apartment; which is very spacious with nice closets. She also has a big first floor patio that was a must for her to be able to sit outside with her pup. [Name removed] is bright and cheery - colors are current with so many activities and outings offered. She is never bored. People are really friendly and within weeks she had more friends then she ever has had. Food - they offer 3 meals a day. She’s not a huge fan of the food, but they do offer alternative choices and a 24 hour bistro - so when hungry she can go grab something from that. She usually only eats lunch (which is their big meal) there because not an early bird for breakfast. They are now offering car services daily within a 10 mile radius. Laundry on each floor. Light housekeeping weekly included. [Name removed] is not an assisted living community, but they do offer care services at an additional rate through [removed].

Explored all the assisted living facilities in and around Clear Lake, Texas. Selected The Shires for my mother. After three months as a resident, absolutely made the right selection.

This community is the absolute best. The staff is kind and caring. They have so much going on all of the time, it’s hard to keep up. My family is so fortunate to have these wonderful people care for my mom.

I am so thrilled with the care my uncle is receiving at Brookdale Peoria. [Names removed] lead a very caring staff of caregivers. The staff at Brookdale not only maintain a clean and welcoming facility, they offer genuine care and friendship to not only the residents, but their families. [Name removed] especially has made my uncle’s transition into assisted living, from living alone, extremely smooth. My family is forever grateful.

My parents & I visited Grand Villa while we were on vacation to find an independent living facility for my grandma. We arrived and immediately saw a fair number of residents interacting. The exterior of the community was vibrant and clean. The residents are lively and active. There were lots of events and activities available for residents. Everybody we saw spoke to us and [name removed], the staff member that guided us. This is a great sign that the staff are lived & residents are friendly. We visited a few other communities but suggested Grand Villa to grandma.

By far this is the best place, we are so happy with Brookdale Peoria. The reason it is above average, is the staff, truly dedicated and they work as a team making for a very comfortable environment.

We have lived at Grand Villa since [date removed] During this time we have met many amazing and friendly people. They are older than us but you would not know it! We have become involved in cards, mahjong, farkle, dominoes and Samba. We find the food to be very good, with great choices each day. We can have our hair cuts and my nails done without having to go elsewhere. So after 7 1/2 months we truly love our Grand Villa lifestyle!

I moved to Grand Villa almost 2 years ago and have been very happy here! It truly does "Look like home and feel like family"! My apartment is bright , spacious and beautiful; the flavorful meals are served in a lovely restaurant style environment and the varied scheduled activities are quite enjoyable. Also, importantly, the management and staff are wonderful! They, along with many delightful residents, are what makes everyday here feel like you're living with family. Everyone employed at Grand Villa is attentive, compassionate and proactive. Its reassuring to know that along with their kindness and entertaining personalities, my comfort and safety are top priority at Grand Villa.

I am very happy with my living arrangements here at Grand Villa. I like that there are a lot of other residents to visit with. I enjoy all of the amenities. The new menu board in the lobby and other locations is a nice addition. The food options are very good and desirable. The bar and entertainment is very good too. The size of my condo is very nice for me, it has everything i need! I have been very content and I like everything Grand Villa has to offer.

I am so very happy living at Grand Villa! 1. The staff is wonderful, very helpful- [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] just to name a few. 2. I feel so very safe living here! 3. The food and selections are tastey and presented like in a good restaurant. [Name removed] and [name removed] always trying to help you and please you. 4. The apartments are Large and remodeled - a joy to live in. 5. My family and I always say I am living in a resort!

There are many varied activities for residents enjoyment. Having a washer and dryer in your apartment is really a great addition! Also management is a very sociable and caring bunch. The pool is A#1!
