I would say mostly a 5 for everything, but the owner was a little pushy and tried making my MIL feel bad for not walking down to the dining room for her meals but she's ill and not that mobile and they told us room service was no problem when she moved in there. They also took her space heater after saying we could bring whatever we want into the room. The food was enjoyable and they do weekly housekeeping and laundry. The facility is beautiful and clean. The studio apartment is just a room and a bathroom, no kitchen or other amenities. You have to bring your own fridge. They cover all utilities and it's included in the monthly rent payment. Upon signing the lease, they tried saying the rent was going to be [removed price]more a month than they quoted which is also higher than what their website states, but in the end honored the quoted price. My MIL transitioned into hospice care and was able to do it from there until she needed to be upgrade to a nursing home.

Our friend [name removed] is settling in nicely. I would grade the overall experience 5. Everybody working there has been very friendly.

Clean facilities, regular meals, some enrichment activities (holiday themes, chair yoga, etc). Great availability of additional services available from onsite facilitator.

About a month ago, my mom experienced the loss of her husband, my dad. Since then, the staff and residents have played a significant role in helping her adjust. They have been proactive in involving her in various activities, ensuring she is eating her meals, and regularly checking in on her. Their encouragement and support have greatly contributed to her increased participation in the community, making her transition smoother and more enjoyable. One suggestion for enhancing her experience would be to heat the indoor pool at the residence. The pool was a major selling point when choosing this community, and having it heated would make it more accessible and enjoyable for the residents.
